John Hammond founded a company called International Genetic Technologies, or InGen for short. InGen's ambitious goal was to recreate dinosaurs through genetic engineering and establish a theme park showcasing these prehistoric creatures. After facing numerous setbacks on the islands of Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna, InGen was acquired by the Masrani Corporation, who successfully opened Jurassic World on Isla Nublar in 2005. The Park thrived for a decade until tragedy struck in 2015.
The Marlin 1895 is a classic lever-action rifle that has been in production since 1895. Originally chambered for powerful black powder cartridges like the .45-70 Government, it was one of the guns that tamed the American West. While more modern bolt-action and semi-automatic rifles eventually overshadowed lever-actions for most uses, the Marlin 1895 remained a favorite for hunters who appreciated its smooth action, reliable performance, and knockdown power on large game.
When the security team at Jurassic World needed a rifle capable of stopping the massive Tyrannosaurus Rex in an emergency, they turned to the venerable .45-70 Government cartridge. This hard-hitting round was originally a black powder cartridge developed for the US Army's"Trapdoor" Springfield rifles of the 1870s. With a heavy 500+ grain bullet and over 12,000 ft-lbs of muzzle energy, the .45-70 had more than enough power to penetrate thick dinosaur hide and bone. The lever-action allowed for faster follow-up shots than a bolt-action in close confrontations.
Early in the Isla Nublar Incident of 2015, the Marlin 1895 in .45-70 saw heavy use by Jurassic World's Asset Containment Unit. When the Indominus Rex and other dinosaurs were inadvertently released, these lever-guns were pressed into service to protect guests and recapture zones. The .45-70's deep penetration was a match for Jurassic World's most lethal inhabitants, punching through the virtually bullet-proof Indominus hide when other weapons could not. However, even multiple .45-70 hits could not stop the Beast's relentless advance. Asset Containment was forced to temporarily retreat until more powerful anti-tank weapons became available. The marlin Model 1895 had met its match. - บันเทิง
Anyone know where to get some White Monster and Zyn on this island?
Mad pig customs 4570 is absolutely beautiful but extremely expensive
I'd rather have a SPAS-12 solely because it's iconic in the Jurassic Park franchise
allah
I shot a doe last year with 325 gr Lever Revolution at 50 yards. It was kind of underwhelming. Left shoulder broken on impact, heart deleted, right shoulder broken on exit. She still went 100 yards. Compare that with the buck I shot a few weeks before that with a bow. Entry behind the left shoulder, thru lung/heart/lung, then exit low right shoulder. Went 25 yards, laid down and died. Still wouldn't want to get hit by either.
Hey I'm in your area you ever done a video on an 1886 4570?
The most unrealistic part of the new jurassic world movies is that the population of America doesn't immediately hunt the loose dinosaurs back into extinction
In a matter of weeks!
Instead they offered buff locusts lmao.
Those dinosaurs would be hunted stuffed and mounted in a matter of weeks.
Who cares if you can hunt normal big game when you can hunt a dinosaur.
Where are the T-Rex steaks? And do they taste like chicken?
@majordakka5743 For a limited time, there would be stego-steaks, brachiasaur burgers, and T-Rex t-bones. Some animals may be farmed but I'd guess most would be hunted back into extinction.
Believe it or not, this rifle is UK legal. I should get one
I really feel for you mofos
Came here to say this too 🤣
Do it.
Get as many as you can across the pond!
It doesn't really matter if it's legal to own or not. If you use it in self defense you're still going to prison. We're in the same situation in Canada, and honestly most Americans too. Americans think they're so free yet if they shoot a black guy they're screwed, even if it was justified. I'd be worried less about the right to own guns, more about the right to defend yourself as a White person.
“Hold on to your butts”
Sam L is tha man!
That's my go-to phrase whenever I'm about to do something sketchy on the production app / database.
One the best Jurassic Park character ever in my opinion
Can you hold on to my butt?
“DODGSON! We’ve got Dodgson here! See, nobody cares.”
I guess the trex wanted to deal with someone else after dealing with the Kentucky man with a golden thumb.
Rex saw Scott pulling up with the .950 JDJ and noped out of there.

It's not that hot yet; no triple digits 😂

I feel like the Morgan and Morgan ads make it seem like Admin has gotten significantly more mainstream
I don't know why they wanted to sponsor us, but I'll use that money to make more cool stuff lmaoo

It’s prime admin watching time hahah. Can confirm, taking a shit as I watch, again…
Seriously dude, I feel so called out.
Oh great, now not only does Kentucky have a Trex problem but they've seemed to migrate down to Arizona.
Everything seems to be migrating here.
Movie guns: They don't kill monsters, penetrate fridge doors, or flipped over tables They can throws a man backwards 20 feet and make cars, barrels, and propane tanks explode.
The only issue where this rifle falls short of what Cooper wanted in a scout rifle is that he wanted it to have a detachable magizine. But I love the 45/70 lever gun!!!!! And I love the TACTICOOL NERDINESS of it !!!
Didn't he specifiy that it was to be stripper clip fed, not really detachable?
Are you listening Browning? A tacicticool BLR. Factory 20 round mags. I'm waiting.....
For a spec correct scout rifle: Cooper didn’t say tube mag, DBM, or internal mag. He specified caliber, overall weight, and a few specific features.
@@charlessalmond7076 I already love my regular BLR, what you describe would be fucking awesome!
Magazine lever guns are coming
This is essentially what I told people I would do when I grew up. The Lost World scenes with rifle bearing men in slouch hats hunting dinosaurs from trucks had a major impression on my hopes and dreams at age 5.
"Man these tacticool weapons are so dumb!"
This one is chambered in 45-70....
"I'll take two"
When I first saw the tactical lever gun trend I didn't know what to think but I was intrigued. Now I recently built a Henry with the Midwest Industies furniture and by God it really tickles my tism.
What kind of tism do you have?😂
The "Au"some kind!!!
Admin now needs a SPAS-12.
I like to think the early access videos are live and he's really here with us

The t-Rex in the background is hilarious! 😂
Defiant Munitions, best ammo on the market and only thing I will carry in any of my pistols or AR. Pete Jr does amazing work.
Woah! Defiant Munitions spotted at 5:38!!! They've got a sick .458 Socom that's 100% copper! It's a monster, basically 45-70 ballistics coming out of your AR! Defiant makes the best defensive pistol ammo you can buy, Pete Jr is the man!!!
Their 9mm TCX is amazing as well!
To quote that one kid in that one movie, "THAT WAS AWESOME!"
Only admin can make a staunch traditionalist like me actually enjoy a tactical lever gun. Well done as always, sir!
The tacticool lever gun or even regular lever gun. I love them because the large bore straight wall cartridges are artillery in your hand.
So if AAC didn’t make the ammo who did? It looks like cool ammo with black chrome casing.
Defiance Munitions for the win
DEFIANT MUNITIONS
How about a shout out for that ammo!!! That’s some wicked rounds! Defiant Munitions all the way!
It’s a superior ammo
Be Different, Be Defiant!
Sure would have been nice to get more info on that badass Defiant Munitions ammo sitting on the tailgate that you panned right by. That was an opportunity lost to inform your viewers of this superior ammo and support small business as well as some genuinely awesome people. Do better!
Well when the almighty big $ sponsors pay you to only talk about their ammo (what most of us would call selling out) then that’s what you get.
Defiant Ammo is the best out there!!!
Preach!
Hey, Elmer Keith used a 4" S&W .44 mag for dinosaurs back in the day, a .45-70 should be no problem!
Admin thank you so much for making this video, I'm a huge Jurassic Park fan and I loved all the references. It's been my favorite movie since I was 10 and thought about buying a 1994 jeep wrangler for my first car to make it into a JP replica. It also started my interest into radio and tactical gear so thanks for showing off all the cool details on this rifle!
I'm just doing my job sir!
That Defiant Munitions you’re running in that gun is hands down the best ammo on the planet

I concur

Wow who makes that ammo! I'm sure they put a lot of time and energy to send that to you guys, I would love to know who makes it!

Real.
Tactical lever guns are a vibe. It's just that simple.
Aaron, that lever gun looks more like something Jayne Cobb would carry and use in the Firefly (Serenity). But Jurassic Park or not, either way, it's a very cool vibe.
Vera 2.0?
Admin, this isn't at all related to the video, but could you do a pizza making video on the second channel?

Loving that HK your holding in the Morgan and Morgan advertisement. I haven't seen it in a review yet Admin! Quit lacking and get to making one now.
Yes dear
@@AdministrativeResults Another 🔥 nostalgic videoand as always bringing that Big Chimp energy! Looking forward to the review of that dripped out G3.
@@AdministrativeResults Ironically enough Muldoon used a G3 instead of a SPAS-12 in the book, so it would be an interesting joke to show how book Muldoon had more common sense for a dinosaur slaying weapon than his movie version.
Alright Keltec... time to make a twin-tube version.
The hockey tape you did is 100% valid. They wrap leather on the lever from the Wild West days up to today. 👍🏼
“Clever Ron Jeremy” wait wrong channel essentially
For me, the tactical lever gun is a lot of fun, not everything needs to fill a use case, just being fun is OK.
I had a Mossberg 30-30 zombie gun. The first tactical lever gun I ever saw. It's ok to own a gun because it's just kinda cool.
"series 300 de-atomiser" 😂
The spray patterns/annihilation of the milk and melon, and the spatter noises afterwards 🤔🧐🤌
Would have been awesome to hear something about how that Defiant Munitions ran for you. Pete is a good dude, making some of the best ammo on the market.
Then to find out that they sent you the ammo for the video, $1k worth without even a mention, is pretty messed up.
Would be great to see you support a small family business, and help them get more eyes on their product.
Just disappointing man.
Amen
Mossberg pioneered the tacticool levergun with their 464 SPX. It, along with the rest of their lever action line flopped really hard, and after a few years they axed it completely. Now of course tactical lever guns are making some kind of weird resurgence
I ended up snagging one of their SPX models during the Pandemic; absolutely hated the stock, handguard, and the way they designed the safety under the lever to be depressed for it to fire, but it did get me interested in the "tactical lever gun" profile enough to want things like fiber optic irons and a threaded barrel on a lever gun.
I love modern lever actions. They do the job and fly right under the radar 👍.
In Australia, these are the best you can get in terms of centre fire Calibre rifles. Not even beginning to mention the paperwork and headache going through the approval process.
The cartridge flying off the stock at 3:46 XD
here's how it works ...
5 quick 5.56 rounds = 6 bad guys per 30 round mag = 6 bad guys down,
unless hiding behind cinder block wall.
or 1 45-70 per bad guy = 6 bad guys down per mag tube,
(because one of the rounds took out two guys - the first guy and the guy standing behind him)
even when hiding behind cinder block wall.
Don't miss.
You can reduce the fatigue on your tops of your fingers if you bring your hand all the way to the front of the lever loop and push off from there instead of pushing off the bottom of the loop. It'll feel weird operating the loop this way at first, but your fingers will thank you if you're not wearing gloves
I was supposed to start working 3 hours ago... can't stop watching your content man keep up the great work.
Do I want one yes, do I need one idk but how about yes
Such a luxury item imo
@@AdministrativeResultsWas the price worth it? Probably not. Do I regret it? Absolutely not.
Admins videos keep getting better and better
You been tell Admin is a little weirded-out by the Ambulance chaser sponsorship 😂 Gotta pay the bills I guess
Admin was the best Dino gunner in the world.
But when the Jurassic World franchise needed him most, he disappeared. :'(
While not 45-70, I liked the idea of a tactical .357 lever gun because it paired well with the S&W TRR8 tactical wheel gun for those times when I wanted to go tactical but retro while running out for some mint chocolate chip ice cream.
Lever guns have a special place in my heart, my 1st hunting rifle was 30-30 Winchester!
Lever guns are awesome, the motion of moving that lever the sounds it makes is so satisfying 😌

He’s a dad? Damn, what a kickass father.
At first I wasn’t really into the tactical lever gun aspect, but I’m starting to think it would be something else to add to the collection to remember the fad. My personal favorite lever gun look is a Marlin Alaskan Guide 45-70. I love mine
This just reminded me of the Halloween 5k I did years ago and several people ran it in those t-rex suits.
Love the paint job 🤠
In iowa we don’t have a rifle deer season but we can use some straight walled cartridges during shotgun season so that why I got my Henry 45-70
"I like your cut G" got me dying lol😂
I've never fallen asleep to one of your videos more
Mossberg made one of first tactical leverguns back in the time that zombies were king and every knife sold had a green handle and ☣️ on everything. I think the gun had one too..
The T Rex running around In the background was hilarious.
My local range has a similarly-configured Marlin 1895 on their rental wall (theirs isn't cerakoated or shortened, and it has a can - a necessity since it's an indoor range). It's brand-new: I *think* I may have been the first person to rent it last week.. Holy CARP is that thing! 300 grain SJHPs at about 2100 fps is fairly spicy, but still surprisingly comfortable to shoot.
I gotta get me one...
You are a very refreshing guntuber, mate! Keep up the good/lighthearted work! What is that hat you have on?
Such a beautiful build!
Make sure those Mlok mounts are tight on 45/70 😂
TH-cam might not be a fan of what we've got going on here. But I'm a fan of what we've got going on here.
I leave this comment for the algorithm gods.
A kind sacrifice
Love the content
Practical applications: minimal
Coolness factor: off the charts
never knew I needed a lever gun... but now I know and knowing is half the battle
Awesome video
The " Clever Girl" never gets old.
As far as scout rifle goes I'd label your custom 45-70 somewhere between scout survival rifle and brush gun. It's fantastic.
That Danny Archer CAR15 is one of all time my favourites haha
Back in the 1980s I had a Marlin 1895SS with a 24" barrel. While standard ammo was lame by today's standards, you could load your own and have a pretty hot round within 200 yards. I ised 300 gr. JHP and a hard cast 405 gr. round nose. Extremely effective against bears.
AR is such a dork, I love it 🥰
I own a levergun for hunting and I love that thing. Browning BLR, mag fed in .30-06. Havent met a wild boar that liked it yet. So yeah wouldnt be my shtf gun but it is a solid hunting gun especially in close quarters, driven hunt situations.
Man I love lever guns, sooooo underrated
Came for the review - Subscribed for the vibe
Imagine the thrill of facing off against a T-Rex with this bad boy in hand.
That Morgan & Morgan ad made this video feel like a daytime TV show🤣
As a gun enthusiast and an amateur palaeontologist, I admire both the rifle and the use of some obscure Jurassic soundtracks, such as the Lost World game 👍
Cool looking build
My ✨lovely✨ state of Connecticut just made fixed mags the new rule… so, time for a lever gun!
We’re located in CT!
Mad Pig did a great job on that rifle.
Great choice! We definitely need more lever action videos!
Leverage is key to doing your part.
With the appearance of the dyno suit, I fully expected a Kentucky ballistics cameo. Lol awesome fun, awesome content.
This is anecdotal but I bought the Marlin 1895 SBL 47-70gov North Country 19.5” in beautiful grey to add to a lever gun collection. Two weeks later the Marlin 1895 16.5” Trapper lever carbine showed up at my armor. I had to have it because my armor showed me a half western classic half tactical lever gun he built out, and off to the races.
We customized the 1895 Trapper carbine the same way, back half classic western and the front half tacticool. Within 6 months the fully tactical lever guns hit the market. Gunners were buying up the aftermarket on these lever carbines and the manufacturers noticed. Sure enough Hollywood followed suit with the Marlin 1894 Tracker Mad Pig custom tactical used by good guy Mr. Nobody in John Wick 4.
It’s a great home defense gun in the sense that if you need to defend your position and manhood in the home with your wife and kids, that you have the need and the right to go shooting with your buddies, just whipping out the lever tactical drives home that basic male human need. Accompanied by a few incomprehensible grunts and a “hoo-ah!”
