Thanks dude! Your videos are always informative and you can tell you actually do the work and aren't just taking shit from other people and putting your face on it.
You're instinctual with the Digitakt! I wrote off chopping loops on the Digitakt for the longest time,. Looking forward to more of your videos. Feel like I know this device better after each one.
Hey, just getting into the Digitakt and your videos are amazing! One question regarding pitch / time stretch: I have a 32 step sample loaded up and slowed, but on step 29 it suddenly speeds back up to the original tempo. Any clue what might be wrong?
Hmm.. hard to say without seeing it. I’m thinking about doing “office hours” to help people troubleshoot and build up a guide of time stretch tips and tricks. Is that something you’d be interested in doing?

@@dialectricStudios these are well done, and i appreciate them, i should say. but if you've never tried the octatrack you should give 'er a shot. slices are nice i know its not the same though. pitch shifting isnt as nice, reverb isnt as new sounding, mono sort of pops in certain instances, namely percussion which seems to be the main use for most people. but its a magical machine
@@christdolphin69 I love what the octa can do for live looping and "mangling" samples but i don't care for the UI. If there was a digi style box with the octa live looping stuff I would buy 1000x
@@dialectricStudios yeah absolutely i hope someday elektron gives us more multitrack synths with better synthesis engines and the octa/digi combi machine
@@dialectricStudios All the possibilities in the form factor, its just nice ! Great vid. Also, that's the first time I've heard Lebanese Blonde in many, many years - lovely track.
very nice info and workflow showcase. As you said, it's just nice to know how to preapre everything in the box. Thanks again man!
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it ☺️

Greg I really appreciate that thanks man

Hey man I really appreciate that. Rest assured I’m workin on new stuff
Your a blessing bro. Changed the way I use the digi heavily thank you.
Glad you enjoy the vids 🙏
Hope Elektron implements the "loop while chopping a sample" feature, this should be a proper feature request.
We need a new video with some tips on the 1.5 update fam.
love your channel mannn, i hope you do more videos
I'd love to so you do a tutorial for sampling on the 1.50 update. Great video BTW as usual.
Can you give us a jungle/drum and bass tutorial with resampling + time stretching
I was today years old when I learned you could increment/decrement characters in the name page.
you're a genius! Thank you sir
❤❤❤

Finally
I know right…. Been too long since we talked bud give me a call sometime
dont all of these hacks just make you want to buy an octatrack instead?
Not really

Or just get Octatrack. Elektron philosophy is every machine has its own purpose. Digitakt not for chopping purpose…
That’s a little narrow approach to creativity that you are shining out my Siskin :)
True maybe it’s not meant for it but I quite like the digitakt and it’s limitations!
