Been wanting to try this out, great to see a detailed video about it. Do you ever run into problems with zero-crossing-related clicks and pops when finding a good spot for the start time or when modulating it?
Always excited when you drop a vid. It seems like you are only modulating the sample start point on the pad and lead sound. And for the other sounds in this kit, the wavetable method is giving you some options when you are crafting a particular sound (e.g., on the HH, you're trying out different start times, but then leaving it with a fixed start time once you find a sound you like). Am I getting that right? In any event, stoked to try this out and I'm sorry about your career as a hand model :(
It depends how you prioritize things. Does the sample start point get front seat or does it stay as a back seat option with other modulation doing the heavy lifting? It’s up to you.
@@dialectricStudios Sounds great! I have a DT, an SP and a microfreak (same oscillators as the Plaits module) so I am really looking forward to see how you combine these 3 in your setup. Btw, I would also love to see if you have any idea on how to fake an arpaggiator on the DT.
Great to see you back spreading more knowledge!
Really great content here - you open the lid to all the lovely possibilities with this box!
Really beautiful stuff. Can't wait to try this out later.
Nice one! Great-sounding demo, and the approach is giving me all kinds of ideas of things to try out with my synths…
thanks for sharing. will have to give this a try sample packs sometimes don’t get me the weird sounds

very cool! mind Blown.. This coupled with Plaits new firmware should be fun~

Nicely done! I liked the tune you made...Are you on soundcloud or bandcamp? Show us the links.... greets fmolla
Hope to see more from you in '23! Are you planning to make any content on the SP as well?
Yea I’m gonna make a review of the sp404 and show how I use it on its own and as a part of my studio :)
