I can sew pretty good but I cannot cut that great, if I had to go cut down two pairs of my pants like that I know I would be looking like a damn zebra!
No way is that a 10 minute DIY. Its cool but just no way unless you'e done that before and your machine is already threaded and ready to go. It would take me that long just to cute the first pair of jeans.

Yes but I think the idea is also upsize your jeans when too tight. In fairness she didn’t say that but if you watch other similar videos, that’s the idea.

I would say ....maybe. Depending on the fabric you are going to use. I would say to use a heavier fabric to stand up to the stretch of everyday usage!
You can just bleach the darker jeans at the sides so you don't need another pair of jeans

I thought this is done when your jeans are too tight, not just to add some decoration.

Are you knew on YT or what? Videos are edited so they are easy and quick to watch, not meant to show the entire process from end to start. 🙄

ooooor you could just tape the jeans in the pattern you want and spray them with bleach...like everyone else :) easy peasy
