ooh, this looks really cool. I have an old pair of jeans that i love so much but i grew out of them. Maybe i'll try this to see if i can give them a second life.
I love this method of increasing the legs of jeans. It seems to be an easy way to add decorative fabric to your jeans or even other pants so they're not so hum - drum. 😉. Thanks for sharing this video with us. Love your channel. Hope you're still making the videos. And, your kitty is so adorable !!! 😻❣️😍
This is great! Not only the pants and the design but also the instructions are so clear, and the video is so calming, I love your voice and the music. And I love that subtitles are enabled!!🙌🙌🙌
Thank you! If you do this with voice (not voice over) and without music, you could totally not only be a sewing channel but an ASMR channel! Your voice is very relaxing!! Thanks again for your innovation & I love the cat at the end 😻
I guess im asking randomly but does someone know of a way to get back into an instagram account..? I somehow forgot my login password. I would love any tricks you can offer me!
@Pierce Fox Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im trying it out now. I see it takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Hope i"m doing this right, these jeans are a 3/4 and I'm more of an 8, measured looks like I need 5 inches on each side maybe I should do 6 to give a 1/2 inch for sewing? LMK is you get this, thanks for the video!
@@sewsam7361 It came out really nice. I needed to pull in at the waist a bit and might do a bit more adjusting but it's a great idea and easy for this little beginner sewer here. Thanks for getting back to me.
Yes it made the waist bigger too. You could try leaving the waistband in tact and making some sort of tapered side panels to keep the waist the same size.
Does adjusting the inseam help it to fit better there? I've tried something similar to this before but the fit in the crotch was just an absolute mess when I was done
I think it would help! I've had that problem with adjusting larger pants before too. I think these worked out better because they were smaller for me and there wasn't too much extra fabric around the front, but adjusting the inseam also helped a bit.

Excellent! I love that you used fast-mo, there's nothing worse than sewing tutorials that drag on filming every slow stitch. KWIM?

Three many videos to small the pants and this one was the only and very efficient and quick one appreciate and thanks 😊 ❤
That’s such a great idea thanks for sharing
I love this idea and it seems most simple...we'll see...
I don't sew much, is there a specific type of thread I should use for this project? Which one did you use? Thanks
hey would this work with a thinner fabric? not upholstery but normal fabric ☺️
Yes! You can definitely use regular fabric for this too doesn’t have to be upholstery :)

That sounds right! That would give you enough for 1/2 inch seam allowance on each side.

Could I do this with flare jeans? :0
Great idea! Thanks!
Did adding the side panels to the pants also make the waist band larger? Is there a way to make the legs bigger but not the waistband?
Yes it made the waist bigger too. You could try leaving the waistband in tact and making some sort of tapered side panels to keep the waist the same size.
Awesome!! Thank u!! Doing it now😊
Can you do this with a jumpsuit? The arms on the jumpsuit are fine for me, it just wont zip up at all 😭
Do you do jean customizations? I need this done for me
My daughter is husky and all I can find are skinny jeans can I do this without sewing the inseam?? Like just do extra fabric on the outside?
of course u can, she just sewed it in bc she like the skinny look, do whatever you like! good luck!
Can I ask if the legs are too wide is it not better to put less new fabric in the sides rather than cutting again?
I think it depends on the pants! Even with less fabric on the sides, my pants still would have been too wide through the inseam.
Loved this!!!

Can you do this without sewing maybe with fabric glue? I can’t sew!
Smart
Love it ❤
Very good tutorial, thanks. Just need to improved the sound, it is a bit muffled
