How does the total budget not include the actors? Going down a water slide 30+ times and swimming in 51F water seems like its worth something. I figured that 18K would at least be split with them.

If you hired a model or driver, it probably be like $500 for a shoot or whatever. Just add that to the budget then. And the boat rental, gas, etc. Theres a lot of hidden fees in there like cost of water park tickets for 2 people, food, etc.

I was at my wits end with Cape Town/South Africa, so I decided to immigrate to Germany, traveled to many European countries, had a blast. Then Covid hit, returned to Cape Town for a bit, saw the city with new eyes, and I can't quite explain how blessed I feel to have been born in such a magical city. Cape Town is hands down one of my favourite cities in the world, and Im not just saying that because I'm a local. It truly is. Congrats on this amazing achievement. South African content creators are really making waves in the world.
