This is a Kerala State Port. This port was started construction in 2015 when UDF chief minister ummen chandy signed an agreement with ADANI Group. If you are asking about about investment 60% of the total investment is done by ADANI group,31% of the total is done by Kerala Government, and 9 % is invested by central government.After completion first 15 years all the profit is taken by ADANI. After 15 years they gave 1% of the profit and for each year they increase 1% each and after 25 years the port should be fully handover to state government. Through this port central government gets 2500 crore profit each year.
