He was the one the found Ashoka and was a great mentor to her. And he was an incredible lightsaber duelist in the order. It is very amazing that Liam Nesson the actor for Qui-Gon Jinn also played Ra's Al Ghul in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight Rises. Ra's Al Ghul in Christian Nolan batman universe is perfect.
Well Qui Gon jinn discovered the life after death and teached even Yoda ! So I Think this list underestimate him... And Anakin Skywalker by himself said : I Would like to be wise as Yoda and Powerful as Mace Windu, so I think this list also underestimate Mace Windu also... He is the only one that overvcome Palpatine in a open Battel !
Plo Koon!!! My all time favorite Jedi, he is a great Jedi. Will always remember his orange light sader in Jedi Power Battles. Happy to see him up here.
Kenobi is one no argue about it, he defeated maul in the first Jedi sith fight for thousands of years, he battled grievous, Savauge, and beat the chosen one, basically 3 times😂
In the books (no longer canon) Obiwan was a bad Palawan sent to the Jedi farm where untalented but still force sensitive younglings were sent. On his way to the farm, he met Qui Gon, who at first didn't want a Palawan. The rest is history ... cool readings. I recommend.
I do nooooot agree with Obi-wan being number one, one bit . His lack of vision about what Anakin was going through and his way of constantly holding him back is was big part of what made Anakin turn ... So no go on being Number one :p Amazing video though
Not quite finished yet. But did want to say I like this idea of a list and like the reasoning for it. I do think windu isn’t as incompassionate as people say, but, i still would say he’s a better warrior than jedi. So I’m not bothered by your choice on his ranking. I also love almost everything else you said explaining why you chose who.
This is an interesting list but I feel you are missing a bit of perspective on what the Jedi Order was written to be. I feel like this list would be better if you had tried to be more objective about the order, either base it on how closely they follow the code (where some honorable and beloved Jedi like Qui-Gon would be ranked lower to the bottom due to their willingness to act out) or rank it based on their connection to the force (Where Qui-Gon would be a lot closer to the top). By mixing these two it seems to have muddied the list a bit, but it was an entertaining video!
Cal Kestis in the survivor game jumped straight into my top 3. Besides being badass af, he might be the perfect example for the best humanly possible jedi. He is a true kind hearted man, and while having negative emotions for understandable reasons does give him some dark moments, but he accepts it to be perfectly fine to have emotions, and breaks his mind free from his "childhood family trauma" (jedi order) and realize that the rules of the jedi order had its flaws and he is still perfectly fine to be a jedi knight and takes all the responsibilities it comes with, maintaining his soft hearted attitude even after tasting the dark side. Cal is just a fucking good jedi. If it was not for emotional reasons, he would prolly be my #1 favourite, but prequels characters just have the advantage of being around in my childhood edit: also, Cal is defo ahead of Cere on the jedi scale, not for cutting herself off the force, but for refusing to restore her connection and help a poor boy properly finish his training - i love the character and strong af, but for the jedi scale, Cal was certainly taking his defeats with more honor than Cere
When I clicked on this video I was expecting qui gon to be #2 or #1 because in my opinion he is the embodiment of what a Jedi should be like He always trusted the will of the force and kept his distance from the counsel because they had become too involved in politics
@@MasterrEli I think Luke is only better because he lived at a time after the Jedi meaning he never had a chance to be corrupted by politics But I still respect your opinion

A lot of these statements are crazy. Like ranking someone low for dieing to grevious. Jedi were instructed to run away from grevious if possible because he was such a threat. Or being captured by cad bane being “ embarrassing”. Cad bane survived fights against some of the most skilled Jedi like obiwan, anakin, and Ashoka. Another example is discrediting somebody for dieing to dooku, the literal most skilled duelist of his era and powerful sith
Tbh, the thing with baris, is that I’m grateful to her because there’s a chance Ashoka’s fate during order66 could’ve been different if she had stayed in the order.
personally, I believe that Luke was the chosen one because he has a higher force midi-chlorian count than Aniken because a Anakin’s is 21,000 and Luke’s is 23,000
Higher force count than Anakin? Buddy, not only does Anakin ACTUALLY have 27,000, if he reached his potential, he would be near 40,000. This is confirmed by George Lucas.
@@MLGProTrolleryou do realise Lucas said that full potential Luke was on the same level as full potential anakin and in legends Luke was stronger than anakin you might want to take the biased glasses off for a second and do research you basing your info off the canon movies which doesn’t prove anything and just because anakin was the chosen one doesn’t mean he’s the strongest Jedi ever even Lucas said Luke was the strongest Jedi ever even in FP and prime
Another reason Kenobi was the greatest jedi, he was tempted by the dark side so many times. His master got killed right in front of him, while he was blocked and couldn't fight along side his master. He got rejected by the love of his life just to see her get killed right in front of him. His apprentes, bestfriend and "brother" turned to the dark side. Yet all this he didn't turn to the dark side. There are probably more situations similar to this, i just can't think of them at the top of my mind. Another reason is in tough sitiuations he had to learn to co-operate with his enemys to get out of the situations, like when Obi Wan, Anikin and Dooku had to work together to escape Hando and the pirates or when Obi Wan and Ventress had to team up against Maul and Savage
I bit off the side, but I believe that if these people trained Anikan, the Chosen One would not have fallen 1- Qui-Gon Jinn 2- Plo Koo 3- Shaak Ti 4- Count Dooku 5- Mace Windu
Dooku: mainly only killed Jedi who attacked him. Pretty reasonable as far as Sith go. *ranked 40* Anakin: Massacring Helpless Younglings, Countless War Crimes , signing off on using every Jedi in the universe as a firing range, hunting down and killing every remaining Jedi, killing Mace Windu when Mace could’ve stopped the Sith once and for all, and much MUCH more. *ranked 11*
Great video, but just so you know, Eeth Koth, Agen Kolar, Yarael Poof, and Oppo Rancisis had a LOT more to them explained in the dark horse comics (star wars legends). Your list had me on the edge of my seat. Watched the whole thing. Fantastic analysis!!
This is a great list. Nice job
Let’s gooo. Great list that gives some well deserved names high ranking. Also Obi really is the goat that made me so happy
Loved the video very interesting too I look forward to and hope for a sith ranking video that hopefully includes starkiller if possible or a different ranking video that has him
I'll definitely be ranking sith soon, I'll try to incorporate Starkiller if I can!
just posted the ranking sith video for ya
You did a great job on this list and warms my heart knowing obi wan is #1 i too think he is the best jedi for the same reason you mentioned.
It is very amazing that Liam Nesson the actor for Qui-Gon Jinn also played Ra's Al Ghul in Batman Begins and The Dark Knight Rises.
Ra's Al Ghul in Christian Nolan batman universe is perfect.
Who the fuck is Christian Nolan?
Well Qui Gon jinn discovered the life after death and teached even Yoda ! So I Think this list underestimate him... And Anakin Skywalker by himself said : I Would like to be wise as Yoda and Powerful as Mace Windu, so I think this list also underestimate Mace Windu also... He is the only one that overvcome Palpatine in a open Battel !
This is probably the best ranking for star wars jedi i ever seen well done!
Plo Koon!!! My all time favorite Jedi, he is a great Jedi. Will always remember his orange light sader in Jedi Power Battles. Happy to see him up here.
I think you forgot Depa Billaba. Idk I might have missed it. Great video though
I agree. I love Luke but I’ve always thought Ole Ben was the quintessential Jedi. Good video, thanks.
Kenobi is one no argue about it, he defeated maul in the first Jedi sith fight for thousands of years, he battled grievous, Savauge, and beat the chosen one, basically 3 times😂
He lost twice to Dooku
@@laureanofelipeyea but just like the video said nothing good happens when crossing Dooku unless you are the chosen one
Amazing list, I totally agree with every single one. Especially Plo Koon, he deserves to be that high.
I don't think yoda and the last council the best because they could not see Palpatine was Darth Sidious .
Loved your take on what makes a "good" Jedi. Really changed my own perspective on it. Great video!
24:45 ok now I see why you had Yoda in 3rd
I agree with you making Obiwan the best on your list because of how wise obi is
Kit fisto wasn't allowed to train a padawan because not even Yoda is blind enough to allow a guy almost named kid fister near the children.
i see what you did there 😅
He did have a padawan
Bro did not get thejoke
@@JasperSpinkEveryone got the joke. It just isn’t very funny considering he literally had a Padawan. That was ranked on this list.
In the books (no longer canon) Obiwan was a bad Palawan sent to the Jedi farm where untalented but still force sensitive younglings were sent. On his way to the farm, he met Qui Gon, who at first didn't want a Palawan. The rest is history ... cool readings. I recommend.
Ben Kenobi 🐐
Obi-Wan imo is underrated. I'm glad you put him 1
Valid reasoning
Plo Koon at Number 4 is So darn Cathartic, nice to see appreciation for one of the coolest dudes in Star wars.
Why does Luke in the thumbnail look like Tyrion from GOT? 😂
I can into this video after seeing the thumbnail and was ready to comment that obi wan was the perfect Jedi, glad I watched the whole thing first
I do nooooot agree with Obi-wan being number one, one bit . His lack of vision about what Anakin was going through and his way of constantly holding him back is was big part of what made Anakin turn ... So no go on being Number one :p
Amazing video though
If it was not for emotional reasons, he would prolly be my #1 favourite, but prequels characters just have the advantage of being around in my childhood
edit: also, Cal is defo ahead of Cere on the jedi scale, not for cutting herself off the force, but for refusing to restore her connection and help a poor boy properly finish his training - i love the character and strong af, but for the jedi scale, Cal was certainly taking his defeats with more honor than Cere
Are you sure thats luke Skywalker in the thumbnail and not tyrion Lannister?
now that you mention it, I can't say that's Luke for certain 😂
Glad I wasn’t the only one who noticed it
Great work man
When I clicked on this video I was expecting qui gon to be #2 or #1 because in my opinion he is the embodiment of what a Jedi should be like
He always trusted the will of the force and kept his distance from the counsel because they had become too involved in politics
tbh I probably should've put him higher than yoda. I still think Obi Wan and Luke are definitely better than qui gon, if not plo koon as well
@@MasterrEli I think Luke is only better because he lived at a time after the Jedi meaning he never had a chance to be corrupted by politics
But I still respect your opinion
Luke founded a new Jedi academy knowing all the force he trained many Jedi.
@@laureanofelipe but qui gon always trusted the will of the force and even at a young age wasn’t afraid to speak up
That’s what makes him better than Luke in my opinion
A lot of these statements are crazy. Like ranking someone low for dieing to grevious. Jedi were instructed to run away from grevious if possible because he was such a threat. Or being captured by cad bane being “ embarrassing”. Cad bane survived fights against some of the most skilled Jedi like obiwan, anakin, and Ashoka. Another example is discrediting somebody for dieing to dooku, the literal most skilled duelist of his era and powerful sith
Obi beated Anakin twice.
Beat*
But he lost twice to Dooku
I think you did great thank you for the content
How can you put Obi Wan as #1? He is literally THE example of everything that is wrong, outdated and dogmatic about the Jedi order.
No. What’s wrong with you
@@ItsFikkie yes your right
Tbh, the thing with baris, is that I’m grateful to her because there’s a chance Ashoka’s fate during order66 could’ve been different if she had stayed in the order.
Obiwan kenobi should be in the definition of the word Jedi. He is absolutely amazing
solid list all things considered. super fun.
Bro did anakin dirty anakin is 1
No. BEST JEDI is the qualifier. Anakin was not the BEST at being a Jedi.
Really good list!! Obi-Wan definitely deserves number 1
personally, I believe that Luke was the chosen one because he has a higher force midi-chlorian count than Aniken because a Anakin’s is 21,000 and Luke’s is 23,000
Nope Anakins was 27,000+ anakin had the most potential
Anakin is first but leia and luke close 2nd
@@ewanlocke9236 You do realize Lucas said full potential Anakin is close to 40,000 midichlorian count? Or has that escaped your mind?
Great list man, Anakin and Obi-Wan's placements were spot on
Anakin 11😂
Worsted Jedi is Rey
Womp womp
Seriously worsted
I do agree with the Anakin ranking because he did break the Jedi code
I hate coleman trebor
NAH DOOKU THAT LOW IS CRIMINAL HE WAS “One of the Orders Most Powerful duelists”
but he turned to the dark side? not very good for a Jedi
@@MasterrEli oh yeah… fair enough ig but he was good as a jedi
Hey! Dude this is awesome!
Look who it is 👀 thank you bro!
I bit off the side, but I believe that if these people trained Anikan, the Chosen One would not have fallen
1- Qui-Gon Jinn
2- Plo Koo
3- Shaak Ti
4- Count Dooku
5- Mace Windu
Count Dooku??? lmao aight bro
@Tamson1 well, Jedi Dooku.
Great take. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
say what you want but kits's smile is unbeatable
The goat
Awesome list my friend ❤
1 - Obi wan
2 - Anakin
3 - Yoda
4 - Luke
5 - Qui gon
I think this a pretty good ranking 👍🏻
eli back with another banger?!?
Dooku: mainly only killed Jedi who attacked him. Pretty reasonable as far as Sith go. *ranked 40*
Anakin: Massacring Helpless Younglings, Countless War Crimes , signing off on using every Jedi in the universe as a firing range, hunting down and killing every remaining Jedi, killing Mace Windu when Mace could’ve stopped the Sith once and for all, and much MUCH more. *ranked 11*
Yeah I think this guy's love of anakin's character is blinding him a little
Anakin did help save and attack the sith in his younger days
i was like wtf 40? its this a joke?
Great video, but just so you know, Eeth Koth, Agen Kolar, Yarael Poof, and Oppo Rancisis had a LOT more to them explained in the dark horse comics (star wars legends). Quinlan Vos and Bariss Offee had a lot more in that timeframe as well. Would love to see a ranking for the Legends timeline instead of the cannon one!
First of all great video and validation for your ranking. After watching this I couldn't help think Qui-gon ahead of Obi-Wan. The fact he didn't join the council showed me he stood for Jedi values more than a committee with agendas. Same argument Captain America makes with the Sokovenia Accords. Qui-gon not even my fave but this got me thinking... Is he? Anyways newly subbed. Great vid.
Nailed it ❤
