i also don't remember sidious eating entire planets (which even vitiate wasn't capable of), nor was he close to as powerful as tulak hord or exar kun
Sidious destroyed the Jedi Order, which is the greatest achievement any Sith could claim. So he deserves the top spot

I think what made Vader such a great villain was the fact that he was always in pain no matter what he was doing. He was in a no win situation and all he had was hate. But when we're talking about Sith, it could be debatable the way you look at it, but I still think he's a great Sith, as in that time his only option was the Dark Side.

That's fair. His power is definitely off the charts. Honestly I don't understand Revan as well as I should. Other than what you just mentioned, I don't feel like he has much in the way of accolades, plus his whole Jedi past / switch up is so confusing.

@MasterrEli he also created the rule of 2. All Bane did was find revan's holocron and eliminate every sith out there so he could make the rule of 2 a reality. The idea of the rule of 2 was made by revan himself and he also was able to weaken an early vitiate but If I recall he was still a jedi at the time so you probably don't want to use that as a part of the ranking as that is ranking the power of jedi revan and not darth revan but him creating the rule of 2 and being as power as he is means he should be behind bane in my opinion as he is weaker than bane(as a sith at least) and more influential.

I think dooku should be much lower based on these criteria because he didn’t even embrace the dark side enough to turn his eyes yellow
i may be mistaken but I remember Dooku getting sith eyes on one or two select occasions in the clone wars, like when he was using force lightning. Either way, the usage of force lightning alone shows some dark side dedication. I agree with you though, I really just wasn't sure about him
He one hundred percent had the corrupted Sith eyes, but like Sidious he was able to disguise it with the Force. In the episode where Dooku is training Savage Oppress and he electrocutes him with Force Lightning, it was incredibly obvious that he had Sith eyes.
@@Lord_Draco_IIIexactly - and Dooku was also a player in Sidious' political warfare game, the clone wars, and as a leader of separatists he needed to keep his cover as a regular politician, so people would believe him and not being scared of a dark, dangerous and corrupted force user, that's also why he kept using the name Dooku and keeping the sith title Darth Tyrannus a secret, plus the same thing with his yellow eyes...

Not really if you look at lore he only killed 22 in the temple and 5 after putting him at 27. Malgus killed that many by the time they sacked the Jedi temple

i agree with the vader ranking, put what about knightfall vader, in that he fought Sidious and won. and it wasn't exactly just a vision it was the force itself not an imagination but what could've been had he won his duel on mustafar
Ventress wasn’t really a sith and was more of an assassin for Dooku. Dooku trained her like he trained Grievous, but she was aware of Sidious and knew of the Rule of Two. She was more of a dark Jedi or dark side user than sith.

Vader and Aniken are two completely different characters. There was even a comic where Vader fought aniken to determine which one would be the dominant personality therefore; you can't include his time as Aniken as Vader. Vader himself was an extremely powerful and cunning sith. Yes sideous held him back on purpose but when your body is literally turned off and you will yourself to move using the force.. it's worth notice. Vader doesn't deserve to be on the bad side of this list. It's only when you include Aniken thar he stays looking bad but that's only if you look at them as the dam person which George Lucas even stated that they are in fact different people.

Several issues with the list, I'll focus on the biggest two.
Darth Malgus killed his master but was NEVER the leader of the Sith Empire. Maybe of that attack, but has ALWAYS been Sith above him in terms of rank. He still answered to the Dark Council and the master above his master. He orchestrated the attack on the Republic capital to BURN it - the Sith above him? Used it as a tool for negotiating a better deal.
He was FURIOUS about it.
Darth Malgus has never really been beaten lore wise yet either.
Satele Shan failed against him twice, and needed to be saved both times she fought him.
He orchestrated the attack on the Republic capital. Lead it personally as well.
When it came to fighting Jedi at that temple, he was outnumbered, even with the strike force. Killed the best duelist of the Order at that time - Zallow. (this is mentioned in-game). When it came to his betrayal of the Sith? It took a team of 5 to stop him, and even then after ANOTHER denotator blowing up in his face and yeeting him down a shaft...he still didn't die.
He was rebuilt with a bomb inside him to control him...which when he was 'crushed' after defeating the republic, he STABBED HIMSELF to disable the bomb and without pausing to rest and heal he broke free and went on a rampage. It took over a dozen force users to subdue him and they still struggled.
They had to build a specifically FOR him and even that barely contains his rage. Well...until he was set free. AGAIN!
When it came to force power - there hasn't been one stronger the Vitiate. Even in all of legends, while Sidious takes second place...he doesn't hold a candle to Vitiate who, while building and focusing on the Eternal Empire as Valkorian still had a body with The Sith Empire...then ATE A PLANET of all life on it while controlling hundreds of people ON this planet! (Ziost)
Jedi, Sith, didn't matter.
Sidious needed to use tech to create new bodies...Vitiate did it through the force and in a ritual...KILLED THE FORCE ON A PLANET! He succeeded in doing what that woman wanted...
Sidious is the most power ON SCREEN but lore wise...takes the L against Vitiate. Who even after being locked away in a holocron had ANOTHER ritual to come back! Like...the fucker doesn't stay dead! He's like Star Wars Voldermort - plenty of horcruxes.
In terms of Sith in pure combat capability - Malgus. Easily. He understands the force to a degree that most don't. He understands his own weakness was the woman he loved, and killed her and made her into a strength in death. By himself broke into the house of one of his rivals tore through the guards and killed him - Lord Adraas. Who helped in the attack on the Jedi Temple.

Darth Nihilus was one with the dark side. probably should be #1. Sidious was a slave to his ambitions, predictable and lame. he might as well of had a curly villain mustache.

Tyranis drained all of the resources and money of his entire planet, and created a war chest to take over after the war. Sidious double crossed him to stop him. He was also real royalty and was the heir to the throne of sorrento. He also married the heir to the chalice of rix....wait that was Star Trek.

pretty much. If you think about it, he's not a very good jedi or sith, at least as far as following the code of each sect
A few issues, you put non sith on the list in a few spots that are less than emperors hands. Top tier is pretty good except pure evil Tenebrous doesn't make it and Plageous at only 10 sorry the depth of abilities and knowledge that Sidious admits are beyond him. Also so powerful and twisted he destroys the independence of the force and sidious has to kill him when he's been injured drunk and asleep.

I'm sorry but Darth revan should have been the least number two and he's one of two sith with the ability to completely remove a person from the force make him so strong that he could challenge the first emperor and almost killed him
I would be curious where would you put the stronger members of the Brotherhood of Darkness like Kaan, Qordis, Kopecz, Kas'im and Githany of course probably not in the top half of the ranking but I wouldn't think they are last, aside from Qordis all of them were very interesting Sith.

I think Revan should be higher above Bane because he invented rule of 2. Bane was in some way apprentice of Revan`s holocron, and ssuccessor of Revan`s teachings
This is not true. Revan, like Kun before, partly (and I mean barely) inspired the Rule of Two. The only aspect that Bane saw that these powerful Sith Lords had in common that he thought was a good idea was that they each only had one apprentice at a time. That's literally it. And even then, he decided it wasn't enough just to have only one apprentice but that only two Sith Lords should exist period. That is where Revan and Exar Kun do NOT inspire the doctrine, as they themselves had armies of Dark Side Force users all of whom were Sith, which Bane did not want.
Bane himself came up with the Rule of Two doctrine entirely on his own, but he had other disparate sources and research aside from Revan that he used to form the foundation of that doctrine as he went around the galaxy. He initially thought up the Rule of One first when he was on Ruusan, but after Githany's input and finding Kaan's spirit and the holocron of Freedon Nadd, that was when the Rule of Two took shape and became reality.

Darth Nihilus should be a lot lower. As a slave to his own great power, Nihilus could never achieve his own ambitions. As well as this, Nihilus was a pathetic duelist and left little legacy behind him when compared to other sith.

i dont get why darth bane is so high, yes he accomplished alot he was just not that powerfull, the whole point of his ideology was that by the rule of two, each generation grew in power. later banite sith like Tenebrous would be way more powerfull, and yes while darth banes ideology led the sith for over 1000 years and his achievements are among the most influencial sith. I dont think he exeeds in power or even in his dark side corruption. He may was the most dark sith lord of his time but just because the brotherhood of sith was so poor in the dark side. Its like beeing the best player in a amateur leugue. Yes he was routhless and ambitous, but nothing unheared of. nothing hard to bear. Tenebrous experiments on the other hand are proof of exeptional dark side corruption. And i just mention him because he is so low on this list. Ancient Sith did also alot of pretty awefull stuff. I am are that most fans would agree with u regarding darth bane and would rate him very high. so i get that but regarding Kotor sith it seems ur little biased.

I’d depends though Cause darth bane also has multiple supreme grade accolades that say he was one of the most powerful sith ever, and his feats back a lot of that up, the power passed on quotes aren’t really backed up by anyone but plagueis and palpatine for banite sith that killed their masters

His accolytes may claim bane is among the most powerfull sith. but how could they know ? according to darth Kreia the ancient sith were much more powerfull to the sith of her timeline, including nihilus and revan. Nobody takes what kreia sais literaly. If we look at the feats, idk .. yes he succesfully used the thoughtbomb but he tricked the sith into performing the ritual, alot of his fighting power came frome the orbalisk armor. thats all external, and i dont claim he isnt powerfull .. just not among the most powerfull sith of all time. but maybe its just me since all agree on bane being very high in most tierlists.
for me, it's about his accomplishments and accolades. He's definitely not the most powerful OAT or anything, but I think he's extremely well-rounded as a Sith. At the very least he's really important in the grand scheme of sith history.

sidious actually quite overrated even the strongest version of sidious lost to leia who had practically no training at that point with the force nor did he actually know how to rule ether only solution to unrest being the hammer and not more subtle or intelligent methods of keeping the populace under control so he actually shows both lack of skill and intelligence. plus all of the wins he has that i can think of were pretty much was against fairly weak opponents such as savage who had very little training in both lightsabers and the force as well as maul who sidious and plagueis trained to have exploitable weaknesses given they wanted him to be a enforcer and not a true member of the ro2.
also im thinking your missing a extremely important sith sithari king adas who is typically the idol of every sith from every era and one of the strongest ever both in terms of personal prowess and leadership able to defeat both the strongest rakata and break the military might of the empire which is the first domino in its collapse and he had only a single planet at the start of the conflict and was less technically advanced and what it took to kill him was soa backed by 16 traitor sith yet he still crippled them all and won the war before his death and the rakata feared him the extent that they never invaded sith space again plus a number of the other powerful members of the list also became powerful partly because of them getting partial access to the knowledge in his holocron for example caedus and freedon nad and sidious and many other sith were near obsessed with gaining possession of it
also i think you've fallen for the jedi propaganda given their isn't actually outside the ro2 and maybe the ro1 sith where the sith is required to be psychotic and without loyalty or morals

@@desoyx definitely agree with Anakin given he Is a very good example of wasted potential given the state of the clone wars Jedi along with his own personality making him lazy in regards to training and learning
And while Luke definitely surpassed his father by a large amount I think he was less skilled then many force users of the Tor era though he did learn much from holocrons from that era but he started much later in his training and such then most of them so his skill wasn't as good despite his genius and raw power he lacked the proper teaching and experience of most Tor force users which made it so he didn't reach his true potential ether even if he was certainly impressive at his peak their were other force users that likely could be comparable who also were high raw potential geniuses who also had better training even if they did have quite as high raw force power they would make up for it with better training kinda like with obiwan vs Anakin where obiwan had much less raw power potential but he trained harder so was able to match Anakin characters like revan, wrath, HoT, nox, vitiate, living exar kun, nihilus, kriea, many other sith rulers, sithari king adas, prime soa etc all likely could at least be extremely tough opponents for unamped or even potentially amped luke given even he at his prime wasn't unreachable by other powerful characters.
Plus how often sidious is claimed to be so powerful cause it took Luke and Leia combined to beat him as a feat despite both of them were barely trained at that point especially Leia who cut his connection to the force was a complete noob with the force.
