Hilde Gueden was a famous interpreter of all three main soprano roles in "Le nozze di Figaro" (the Countess, Susanna, and Cherubino). In this concert she also sang the following arias:

"Le nozze di Figaro" ("The Marriage of Figaro") is an opera buffa in four acts by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, with an Italian libretto by Lorenzo Da Ponte. The libretto is based on the play of the same name by Pierre Beaumarchais. It was first performed at the Burgtheater in Vienna on 1st May, 1786, with the composer conducting.
