    I wish Toyota offer an option of 3D bird eyes view on every trim level and not just Platium because this is part of safety feature.
    Anyway, thank you so much for your time, and I agreed, that's a Lexus minivan.

      I wouldn’t be surprised if they incorporate a larger screen and the new infotainment system soon. They just updated the Highlander to include it.

  • @christopherstreet2214
    @christopherstreet2214 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Love the Lexus LM … but I would prefer an actual Lexus LM based on the sienna with 8 seats … use a specialized premium center console for both second row and third row. I had a Chrysler town and country limited 2000 - it had the most wonderfully designed third row with sculpted third row with arm rest

    What's the clearance off the ground? I know most outback are 8.5, I need the awd for New England weather. I'm hoping to get a nice trade in on my 2019 limited platinum highlander.

    I drove one for a couple of days a few months ago. Lots to like. It does feel like Luxury. It's just too expensive for me. I don't like or need AWD, and hate the seat color on the Platinum. It only comes in brown, but is extremely comfy. I would buy it anyway but 55K is overboard for me.

    • @GTGarageTalk
      @GTGarageTalk  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The lesser trims have color options, and the AWD isn't standard... play around on the website and find your sweet-spot for options and colors.
      Personally, I would probably lean toward the XSE...

    • @ez4u2nv31
      @ez4u2nv31 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@GTGarageTalk great vid and walk through! Curious if you could elaborate on the "lean towards XSE" comment... i'm currently wrestling with this decision and would benefit from your take. I'm torn between the XSE and the Premium, because in my area there is only a $2k difference btw the Limited and the Premium... but a $10k difference btw the XSE and the Premium. So, is $10k worth the jump? From what i can tell, the luxury in the 2nd row, the ventilated 1st row & heated steering wheel, and bird's eye view + larger displays are really the only difference. Is this worth it for a family man with kids under 10? I feel like some of the luxury would go unused with car seats. Would appreciate any feedback. thank you

    • @GTGarageTalk
      @GTGarageTalk  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ez4u2nv31 you hit the nail on the head, a lot of the added luxury would go unused. As much as we REALLY loved the Premium trim, there was just more stuff than we would need if we were spending our money. the XSE has the looks we would like with the sportier grille and such and lower price without sacrificing the things we REALLY loved like the ride, space, and fuel economy.

    A platinum trim without power folding seats? Get the e-trailer hidden hitch. There’s a $700 kit if you need more ground clearance. I wish Toyota and Kia worked together to make each other better. Toyota platform and Kia infotainment.

    I still don't like the climate controls bring back the knobs! Also if you stop on your driveway does your car roll back when you relase the brake? Same situation at a traffic light? the car has no driveshaft.
