- Sooner or later every comic has to deal with some opinionated audience member. Generally these hecklers are awful because they mess up timing and pacing for the comic, and tend to throw the entire show off balance, therefore ruining the show for all other paying customers.
SOMETIMES though, hecklers add a great new element to live comedy. Given that the person they're ripping on makes fun of shit for a living, there's always a good chance that heckler will get thoroughly owned.
With that, here are great instances in which hecklers were properly put in their place.

During a show in 2014, Bill Burr was telling a story about going to
a club when he was interrupted by an audience member yelling out
that he can’t go to clubs because he's blind.
Jim Jefferies
During an interview on the Opie and Anthony Show, Jim Jefferies
revealed that he has Bananaphobia, a very rare condition that
forced him to leave the room in panic when Opie ate a banana and taunted
Jefferies by waving it in front of him.

Suffer No Fools for me, cursing shows casualness. when somebody curses in front of me they’re showing that they really don’t care if i see they’re authentic side. it instills a sense of a relaxed environment. i never really thought of it as negative outside of when you’re supposed to be serious. when i’m trying to be serious i don’t use slang or curse or nothing and act proper. idk that’s just me tho.
