Black guy here who's too young to know the Stones, and whose parents didn't listen to rock, so I heard this song for the first time today. I was listening to old Howard Stern shows and laughing my ass off when He led into a segment with this cut. The beautiful opening rifts reminded me of the soulful blues I grew up on, prompting me to Google the words "I don't wanna be your beast of burden." Imagine my shock when the Rolling Stones popped up! A _rock_ group? Can't be the same song! Well, it was the same song- and every bit as charming, simply complicated, soulfully melodic, and deeply delightful as any blues I'd ever heard!
My lesson for the day? Don't judge a book by it's cover. Stereotyping can make you miss out on some great stuff!

That's a lie. - you're as old as you are!
      It's just...late 40's Ain what we thought.
We thought it was boring, and serious and responsibilities...
Well, we certainly weren't all wrong!😆
But what we considered "daggy", and "stuck in their time " in our fathers..is really just revisiting our youth via nostaligia, and revisiting our fave tunes, bands..tv shows, movies..games, toys etc. - after working hard for 35 years, raising a family...🤷‍♂️
And, just like our fathers to us, we are "daggy" and "stuck in our time " to our sons ,& daughters.
And just like we see them as "lost" (",the kids of today..." Etc etc!!), and having terrible taste in music...and being thoroughly performative & melodramatic with their histrionics...??
→ Our father's & mothers thought the same of us when they were 49 and we were 16. 🤷‍♂️

I was listening to this song when I was in Elementary school and I was thinking "man this is the most beautiful melody I've heard in my life...!! One day I will learn how to play it on the guitar" and so I did...!! This was all I heard on the radio. The ROLLING STONES remind me of my childhood and how much life was so much simpler back then. I'm now 57yrs old an a DESERT STORM ARMY VETERAN. I have a daughter who passed away on 8/12/2015 and 3 sons that all in their 20's they love the older classic rock I'm so glad some of the younger generation enjoy my generations music. KEEP ON ROCKIN N ROLLING PEOPLE MUSIC IS THE WINDOW TO OUR SOUL ML&R!!!

The Rolling Stones are the epitome of cool. They're one of my favorite rock groups not just my favorite British rock groups. There are too many great Rolling Stones songs to be able to pick a favorite. Satisfaction was the first Rolling Stones songs that I learned to play on the guitar, not the first song, just the first Rolling Stones song I learned to play. The Beatles are my favorite group, but the Rolling Stones are right up there I feel in status. They are amazing.I've been playing since I got my guitar Christmas 1971 when I was 14 1/2. I write lyrics and music and I sing Roy Orbison songs and copy his voice because I love his voice. I'm able to hit the notes good and impressed my friend Carlos with my vocal on Crying and In Dreams, etc... I'm interested in learning some more Rolling Stones songs soon. The Rolling Stones are king.Well later folks !

Jagger was dancing around on the stage like a youngster and it was hard to believe that he was over seventy. This group has to be the best group of all times.
