I owned an 03 WRX that had catless uppipe, invidia catless downpipe mated to an invidia q300 catback. Sounded absolutely awesome IMO. I believe Subaru did away with unequal length headers which gave it that signature sound.
Coming from a straight piped catless. To a unknown performance catless turbo back with resonator and mufflers. I do prefered the up catback now instead of the straight pipe. Straight pipe was really raspy. It was nice at first. Because all the turbo whistle is there but when on boost it was sooo raspy. Now i get better sound quality with my new setup. Still catless tho. But so much quieter with back pressure on the tips.
Prefer the half and half Subaru with the Invidia system personally. Just sounds more “refined” and stronger. Could be that it’s tuned too with the high flows and resonator, but still
Hey, I was wondering what you would recommend I do with my exhaust for my 2017 wrx. I did a muffler delete but was wondering if you have any recommendations for me? I’m still waiting for the car to be fixed and I have never drove it but only started it it and revved it a few times. I got it from the auction so that’s why I haven’t driven it yet and I’m still waiting for it to be fixed. If you can please recommend me what to do along with the price of how much it would cost
I’m honestly now getting a lot more into cars. I have a 2017 wrx and I have a muffler delete. Is there anything else that I can do to it maybe to make it louder or have a deeper tone while maybe still having a muffler delete?
most subarus after 2015 dont have that low rumble the boxer is famous for, newer ones sound like a normal 4cyl but with a deeper tone, still a boxer but not the good sounding one
I ripped the mufflers off my 2010 impreza and they look the exact same as the 2020 impreza wrx except my mufflers had one tip per muffler instead of two same hangers location, Y pipe , everything 😂
Where in TN are y’all? I just moved here (also just found y’alls channel last night) and thought it was funny that the plate on the car had Rutherford county on it lol
@@nathanlokai4456 I don't believe it's a factory option. When I had mine, you could use a Cobb accessport to adjust boost and such. My personal WRX had a mild (stage 2) tune that upped boost and made everything much more responsive
I know the difference between anti-lag and 2-step. This is neither. He revved it like that because the shop owner will not rev someone else's car that high and risk damaging it so he did it himself.

Super sick.
They did, although you can get them aftermarket for this car
@@BM-vb9bo not worth getting though if you want performance

i had an 06 Legacy GT with the exact same exhaust set up, sounded so nice
I don't think I've ever seen a subie on the channel this might be the first. Mopar guy here but I really like the bugeye etc early 2000s
The muffler delete one is more straight piped that the straight pipe itself

Huh. Owner is thinking ahead nicely with the ability to swap out for something quieter for trips.
I have ELH catless DP and Greddy SP mufflers. Low tone but loud and raspy AF, best of both worlds. The flames are nice too 🔥

Just gonna make my own muffler delete cuz I don't like the burnt look but I like quads. I'll keep the resonator to help keep the decibels down.
Finally boxer sound
Can't go wrong with that subieflow
I got a straight piped legacy 2019 sounds amazing most people don’t even believe me it’s a v4
h4 bro
Not a V4
They sound better with invidia or tomei IMO. Too raspy for a straight pipe
This is the content I subbed for.
ahhh ic what you did there lol
@@ns5337 he doesn’t even see what he did there lol.
Those half car wraps look so shitty to me.
I will go with muffler delete on the WRX because it has more sound to it than a straight piped WRX to be honest

@@alexblain594 I have a 2019 WRX. You should get a catted Downpipe match with the Muffler it will sound really nice.

Dang a fellow Washingtonian made it on the Chanel 👍🏻
The poor clutch on that blue WRX. Seems like new Subaru owners never know how to not burn a clutch.
I am a new Subaru owner and I can attest my clutch hates me🤣
use kevlar clutch
What inch is the exhaust tips? Looks like 4 inch no?
So how much would the blue cost to do if I already have the axle backs

I think the Blues WRX looks and sounds better.
