I just got a 55" cu8000 and it has been a headache to set picture, with a glare in the right top side of the screen. Makes letterbox look faded at top. One question, does film maker defeat HDR?, as it is the only setting that doesn't show the HDR logo in picture adjustment bar.
I watched other videos because the green concern to me but they don't seem to be that green any other videos so I wonder if it's his camera or if he got a bad unit.
@@Sqaidz4Life Camera white balance will do that. But also, I think the TV just wasn't setup and calibrated. Each panel might be slightly different, so even having them at the same settings and white balance in the menu might have different results. You'd need a colorimeter to perfectly calibrate each screen to match for there to be an effective comparison. I've found with Samsung monitors and TVs it takes a lot of out of the box setup to get a desirable picture. If it ends up having a more greenish tint, that's easily fixable. It just has to be adjusted.
The CU8000 has more life like colours than the DU8000. Check out online reviews and comparisons and you will find they all say the same thing. The DU8000 looks a bit cartoonish by comparison.
Based on what I'm seeing I thought the DU8000 would have leaps and bounce over the CU8000 but I guess I'm sticking with the CU8000 loving the feel and look Sir Steve bless up yuhself
I think standard mode is actually definitely ideal for most people. Movie mode is only tolerable in a dark room. I hate they calibrators who think the 30 or 40 year old industry standards are still relevant on modern day TV's.
Steve ..is tizen system slow in the startup in cu8000 or in all model the tizen slow in startup also the when I press on button in startup it may take 40 sec or 1 minute to open and load is this normal ?
It’s not normally that slow but because it’s a budget model from Samsung you might want to consider a apple tv, google chromecast or fire stick that don’t have to run a whole system that’s in the tv
Check it's updated, I went from au8000 to cu8000, and I find it a bit sluggish, even for volume, but I'm getting used to it now. Also turn off any power saving and digital processing. This may help a little. Min doesn't take 40secs plus though 🙃
Thank you brother Steve for this amazing review, I'm leaning towards the DU8000 because the color pops out and looks a little more real, as you have stated depending on the scene your watching the color variation does differ ever so slightly. Great info 👍🏿
We just bought the DU8000 on Black Friday. I’m still trying to figure out which HDMI ports to us for my DVD surround sound player, my Dishnet receiver and my Fire stick. Does it make a difference?
Hey Steve, have you seen or heard anything about the new Samsung Q60db? We just got some in at the Walmart I work at but I can’t find any videos on it. I would love to know where it stands compared to the Q60c and even the new DU8000.
Hi Steve. Hello from Ireland. Please do a comparison between the new Samsung Q60D and last year's Q60C. I love watching your videos, they are so informative. Keep up the great work! 🙂👌
I think the 55 DU8000 uses, IPs panel and not VA , i just bought one and you can tell by the viewing angles also when you knock the screen there is less or no light on the pressed point..
Yes, specs says its VA , but i really doubt if it is, atleast not in my region as its not inky black as the Tu8000 I replaced it with ,plus the viewing angle are wide and colors pops up just like ADS /Ips panel

I had both of these tv's last year & the A6 is the better option. More settings, nicer picture, better contrast, screen uniformity & viewing angles. The Hisense A7 is available and cheap, I would go with that model instead. It's a step up.

I have a quesiton is there any differnce between DU8000 and DU8100 other than size?

LG UT8000 vs Samsung DU8000 plis
DU has more greenish tint which I won't prefer
I have been waiting on this video thanks Steve
Sid I answer your main questions and concerns ?
Tv's are just like cell phones. Manufacturers tweak them every year. I do like the darker homescreen on the newer one though.
Why is the DU8000 looks so green? 🤔
