I have the 98 FSR Comp.. and I love it 🙂
You crazy kids with your new fangled bikes. I’ll be doing Dog Saturday with the ‘96 Giant 970 full sus. Nearly 40mm of travel 🤣
Excellent riding showing you don’t need the latest tech to have a blast.
Excellent job!! Nice to see you out on the trails. That S-works is a gem! 22 years old, you say? So what? 26" wheels? So what? That bike was the top of the range when it came out. You know bike manufacturers have to sell bikes. That's business. There has to always be the "next best thing" in order to get us to part with our money. I see bikes in the plus 3000.00 range and I have to ask myself, why? Seriously, why? Really? But...be that as it may, you have a gem. Enjoy it!
Great to see you riding it! I had a ‘99 S-Works FSR XC and gave it to my nephew a few years ago. I missed it, so I just bought another one. IMO, it is still one of the best looking bikes made! And it rode great in its day and is still capable today.
I bought one 8 yrs ago. This videos inspiration to get it fix so I can take it for a ride thanks man.
Awesome! Hope the build goes well.
Nice bike, nice riding and nice editing. I would say this video has the best riding footage in terms of angles and editing in any of your videos so far. Great job! All these old bikes deserve to be ridden as intended, they may not be as good as the newer stuff but they certainly still do a great job of delivering a big smile.
Ive got a 2000 rh fsr, still shreds as quick as my stumpy
I recognise those GoFast bars!
Looks fun
I had a 99 retro stump jumper fsr XC. And traded it for a (regular ?) FSR. The guy upgrade the front to a disk brake, and it is pretty nice besides some beat up stickers. I’m waiting for him to fix up my old stumpjumper I loved that bike. Mine had manitou forks, is there modern upgrades for them?!
