No, not rare. Most people just stick them in the sock drawer 😖 instead of putting them into circulation!
If you go to the bank and just ask (politely 😁) for any $2 dollar bill, they may (or may not) have some. For the most part, they will be happy to exchange them for more "usable" currency. 💵
