I was literally just telling my wife I wanted to head up and do some plunking for rainbows, great timing! One thing I would mention is that all fish caught using bait count towards the daily limit, even if released. I got a nice lecture one afternoon about this haha. I hope to see more of your content.
Pretty solid group of fishermen on the beach that day! Great video! Lake Roosevelt rainbow trout are in my opinion, the highest eating quality rainbows in eastern Washington.

Hook removal if the bait is swallowed: is the leader just snipped and wild fish swim away hopefully not injured?
Is the fishing better when it’s lower or higher the water?
Generally better in lower water.
