Toda Raba Rabbi Tovia Singer! I love HaShem and I look forward to the world-to-come, not expecting anything in particular, but only hope that I can finally see HaShem and say Toda Raba face-to-face and give Him a big hug. Until then, we live and experience joy and pain and can only seek after HaShem in everything we do to the best of our ability. I pray that the hostages get released soon, the IDF soldiers are safe, and all Am Yisrael is blessed. We pray for you, Rabbi, that you stay strong and healthy, helping people do teshuva, bringing people closer to Hashem with every word you speak. May HaShem bless you abundantly and keep you and your family safe. Am Yisrael Chai!

This response was actually going around the elbow to get to the thumb. The question was whether Christians would go to hell or not after death.
Personally, I have studied my way OUT of the doctrine of "hell" which is not even in either the Old or New Testaments. The word "hell" was used for the words, "Sheol", Hades, Gehenna, and Tartarus".
None of these words have anything to do with eternal torment after death. NONE!

Thats a lie. If you are talking about the destination of someone that was not saved by believing in the Lord Jesus, then yes the "hades" therm is used by the bible as a place of complete thorment, read luke 16, apo 20. Before you read just know that both uses the therm "hades" its clearly not a happy place and everybody who does not believe in the God that sent his Loved Son(God) Jesus as his saviour will go to hades.

The rabbi is right we can't judge anybody who died that they are going to hell and so we don't know if there is a hell really. But I am sure God want us to contemplate on path to righteousness than to contemplate on punishment of our sin for surely we will be punished with our iniquity so you don't have to think about that, the right way is to focus on the way to righteousness which is the law of Torah for the Jews and Noahide law for the gentiles focus your mind to this and you will see the right path not only for you but most of all for your children.

    • @pgpython
      @pgpython 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

The problem you have is that it is impossible to bribe God with our righteousness. Issiah describes as "holy, holy holy." that is God is not holy in the sense he does some things holy. Nor is God holy in the sense that God is perfectly holy. No his holiness is beyond all comprehension. Our righteous deeds are worthless rags compared to God's surpassing holiness. Issiah was a righteous man by all human accounts and yet even he states "woe is me for I am a sinful man from a sinful generation." so what on earth makes you think that you can bribe God by your susposed righteousness.
You cannot and that's the point of the old testament. Don't be fooled by such empty rhetoric as the noahide laws either. There are no noahide laws in the entirety of genesis. Read it throughly. The first written laws given by God were the ten commandments. With man it is impossible to achieve righteousness. Only with God's help and trust in his salvation which he has provided can it be achieved. Take the narrow path not the wide road

    • @Helen-ls8ij

@@pgpython When you have a plan that is very important you put it writing and study them so you won't forget and we also want our children to do so to for them to avoid mistakes. God is like our parent, He maybe cannot be bribed as you said but I am sure He would be glad if we always look at our to-do-good list and study them. You are bound to make mistakes if you don't put your important plan in writing.

    • @pgpython
      @pgpython 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@Helen-ls8ij it's not that God maybe cannot be bribed. It's that God cannot be bribed full stop, end of story. God is completely incorruptible. There is nothing you can do that will buy you a ticket to heaven because God cannot be bribed by your good deeds. They don't cancel out the sin that is in your heart.
The first step is to realise how truly helpless your situation is. You simply don't deserve heaven. You have not used every day of your life loving God with all your heart, mind and strength and you haven't loved your neighbour as yourself. It is only when you learned to humble yourself that you can start to accept the salvation that God wants to offer you.

That is what God wants to give you and what you really want but as long as you think you can achieve a relationship on your own merit you won't achieve it

Which they changed in WW2 …..they were in Latvia when the Rumbula massacre occurred. I know I am serving my enemies…….my family is secular to a T. Hate it I ache for HOLINESS. MY PARENTS MARRIAGE WAS A COMPLETE DISASTER. FROM 1981. 40 years of pure hell since my birth almost 40, 39 this year ……I often wonder if I will be out of this family by age 40…..40 years in the wilderness. My family has been a wilderness. That's great that you are researching your family history! God is always very accessible to each one of us. If we sincerely desire to know His Truth, we only have to ask Him to show it to us, and He will, as He has done for thousands of us who have left various false religions, and now learn from the Orthodox Rabbis, as He commanded us in Deut. 17:8-11. In the absence of the Temple, the Rabbis are our spiritual teachers, since they (and ONLY THEY!!) have been studying the original Hebrew scriptures all the way back to Mt. Sinai.

44 For the intelligence by which you are made is ever alive and filled with an abundance of goodly things, quickening and restoring the whole body together.
45 Know, therefore, that such healing as is come among you is found not in the knowledge which is come from man alone, but from the wisdom which is come from the Father above does it descend upon you.
      46 Whosoever would heal another, let him be girded round about in the knowledge of God, being himself all whole within;

I agree completely. Only about a week ago I saw Rabbi Singer for the first time on TH-cam. My immediate reaction was "This guy doesn’t look like a rabbi". I had been saying Jesus’s name in prayers since I was a young teenager.
About 90 seconds in I was quite intrigued with the knowledge and wisdom of Rabbi Singer. Within two or three days I realized without hesitation that Christianity is a false religion and resembles a weapon of war. Was non-denominational, read a KJV Genesis to revelations by myself without a church. The NT always seemed a little off and it makes sense now why I connected with the OT in an inexplicable way and the NT seemed exhausting in comparison.
Got a stone edition Chumash and I’m excited to read the Bible in a precisely translated manner with the original language by its side!

I am very turned off with the idea of eternal punishment, but I also struggle with the idea espoused by many Jews that the worst of sinners simply cease to be after death. Is this not a lack of justice? True they may not get to experience the joy of G-d or Heaven, but they will also be free from pain and suffering. This might make sin even more enticing since one will never have to face its consequences. As Mark Twain once said, “Before I was born, I was dead for billions and billions of years and it didn’t cause me one inconvenience.”

The rabbi says that is why the threat of punishment in the Tanakh are things that anyone can test like the threat of no rain, plague, exile and failure in battle which everyone could see in their lifetime.
The rabbi says that In Tanakh God did not need to threaten people with things that no one could test in their lifetime and the rabbi is comparing this to other religions who use threats which no one can test in their lifetime.
Daniel 12:2 is among one of the few examples of threats in Tanakh which no one can test in their lifetime.

(And with this merit, the person will be included in the Resurrection of the Dead). This applies only if he accepts them and does them because the Holy One, blessed be He, commanded them in the Torah, and made it known through Moses our teacher, that the Children of Noah were previously commanded to fulfill them.

      How to correctly analyse scripture.
Some people misunderstand the meaning of son of God as a real biological son of God like Greek Roman sons of God were real biological sons of God.
The meaning of son of God is the Jewish meaning which is servant of God in Tanakh Jewish scripture.
      .
      1. Son means servant.
Deuteronomy 14:1 You are the children of the LORD your God
      .
      2. Son means servant.
Exodus 4:22 And you (Moses) shall say to Pharaoh Firon, The Lord (God) says, “Israel is My son, My first born.” (Meaning, Israel is God’s servant because they believe in God).
      ..
Exodus 4:23 And I (God) have said to you (Pharaoh), “Let My son (meaning My servant) go so that he may serve Me (God) and you (Pharaoh) have refused to let him go …”
      .
      3. Son means servant.
      2 Samuel 7:14 I (God) will be to him for a father, and he shall be to Me (God) for a son; if he commit wrongdoing, I (God) will punish him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the children of men;
      .
      4. Son means servant.
Quran 19:93 Koran 19:93 There is no one in the heavens and the earth who does not come to the Most Merciful (God) except as a servant.
      .
      5. To call any person the son of God which means the servant of God in Judaism was not blasphemy 2000 years ago or today meaning Gospel of John 19:7 and Gospel of Matthew 26:63-65 was invented by Greek Romans because in Greek Roman thinking the words son of God was a real biological son of God.
      .
Gospel of John 19:7 The Jews answered him, "We have a law, and according to that law, he deserves to die because he called himself the son of God" (meaning the servant of God, the slave of God in Judaism or meaning a real biological son of God in Greek Roman thinking. See 1 Kings 13:14 - 13:24 teaching that the word of God will not change and do not believe anyone who claims the word of God has changed).
      .
Gospel of Matthew 26:63 But Jesus was keeping silent. And the high priest said to him, "I adjure you by the living God that you declare under oath whether you are the Messiah, the Son of God" (meaning the servant of God, the slave of God in Judaism or meaning a real biological son of God in Greek Roman thinking. See 1 Kings 13:14 - 13:24 teaching that the word of God will not change and do not believe anyone who claims the word of God has changed)
      .
      6. Gospel of John 19:7 and Gospel of Matthew 26:63-65 is not from Jesus or God but is a test described in 1 Kings 13:14 - 13:24 teaching that the word of God will not change and do not believe anyone who claims the word of God has changed.
In the Torah son of God means servant of God meaning every person is a servant of God.
This means no Jew 2000 years ago or today would have said that a son of God means anything except a servant of God in Gospel of John 19:7 and Gospel of Matthew 26:63-65.
The Gospel of John 19:7 and Gospel of Matthew 26:63-65 was written by Greek Romans because son of God means servant of God in Judaism, showing that the claim of blasphemy in Gospel of John 19:7 and Gospel of Matthew 26:63-65 was written by Greek Romans because 2000 years ago only Greek Romans believed “son of God” was a real biological son of God and therefore was blasphemy (but this is not blasphemy in Judaism where son of God means servant of God).
      .
      7. There are two ways of understanding the Gospel.
One way is the Roman Greek way of thinking 2000 years ago based on the idol worship of gods who had sons meaning real biological sons or the Jewish way based on one God who has sons meaning servants for example every angel and every human is a son of God meaning a servant of God because God is the creator of every creation.
Only the Jewish way is correct because the Gospel says it is quoting from the Jewish scripture in Gospel of Luke 24:44 and Jesus is Jewish.
Christians who are using the Greek thinking of 2000 years ago might think that son of God meaning a real biological son means Jesus is God.
Other Christians who are using the Jewish thinking in Tanakh which Jesus said will never change and must be followed by the Jewish people forever in Gospel of Matthew 5:17 - 5:20 and Gospel of Matthew 23:1 - 23:3 understand that son of God meaning servant means Jesus is a servant of God.
      .
      8. Scriptures like the Gospels which say they are quoting from the Tanakh are a test to show who understands Tanakh by following the word of God and who does not understand the Tanakh by contradicting the word of God in Tanakh and this is explained in 1 Kings 13:14 - 13:24 teaching that the word of God will not change and do not believe anyone who claims the word of God has changed even if a prophet comes to you and tells you that God has changed His word do not obey him but obey God because God is testing you to show if you love God by obeying the word of God which does not change as explained in Deuteronomy 13:2 - 13:4.
      .
      9. Sometimes the Gospel contradicts the Tanakh however some publishers of the Gospels have added footnotes explaining problem verses in the past therefore Christians in the present or in future can add footnotes to show verses that cannot be true such as the claim that Jesus descended from David because it contradicts the Tanakh (where a person can only inherit a tribe like David biologically through the father and not by adoption and not through the mother and not by choice) which Jesus said will never change and must be followed forever in Gospel of Matthew 5:17 - 5:20 and Gospel of Matthew 23:1 - 23:3.
      .
      10. In the Quran Prophet Jesus Isa did not claim he inherited the House of David Dawud because it is impossible for anyone without a biological father to inherit a tribe in Judaism meaning the Quran confirms the Tanakh Jewish scripture so that today Christians can use both the Tanakh which they follow and the Quran to identify which verses in the Gospel Injil came from God in a test from God described in 1 Kings 13:14 - 13:24 teaching that the word of God will not change and do not believe anyone (for example Mark, Matthew, Luke and John) if in stories they claim the word of God has changed meaning God is one and not three in one and meaning God is not a man and God is not in the form of a man.
      .
      11. The Quran tells Christians to follow the Gospel and Torah because what Paul and others teach outside the Gospel is opposite to what Jesus is teaching in the Gospels.
      .
      12. Whatever in the Gospel contradicts the Torah came from Mark, Matthew, Luke or John and not from Jesus or God in a test from God described in 1 Kings 13:14 - 13:24 teaching that the word of God will not change and do not believe anyone who claims the word of God has changed.

      A. Jesus showed he did not die on the cross.
Three days after the crucifixion Jesus said in Gospel of John 20:17 “I have not yet ascended to the Father” meaning Jesus has not yet died because Jesus has not yet ascended to God meaning God saved the life of Jesus.
      .
      B. Jesus showed he was not resurrected from the dead.
Paul said Jesus gave him the following revelation.
1 Corinthians 15:35 “How are the dead raised (resurrected) in what kind of body will they (the resurrected dead) come?
      .
1 Corinthians 15:44 It is raised (resurrected) a spiritual body (however 3 days after the crucifixion Jesus showed that his body was a physical body which Mary could touch and by eating food and showing nail marks on his hand and a wound on his side to his disciples meaning Jesus showed he was not a resurrected spiritual body but was saved from death on the cross by falling into sleep on the cross and waking up after 3 days in his physical body in the same way as other people who appeared to be dead were only sleeping in their physical body in Gospel of Mark 5:39 "... The child is not dead but sleeping", Gospel of Matthew 9:24 "... For the maiden meaning the girl has not died but sleeps ..." and the Gospel of Luke 8:52 "... She is not dead but sleeping". ” … and Gospel of Luke 8:54 - 8:55 “…"Damsel meaning girl, wake up!" And her spirit returned).
      .
Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:35 and 1 Corinthians 15:44 said that the resurrected come in a spiritual not a physical body meaning the physical body of Jesus 3 days after the crucifixion shows Jesus was not resurrected from death but woke up from sleep in his physical body as foreshadowed before the crucifixion in Gospel of Mark 5:39, Gospel of Matthew 9:24 and Gospel of Luke 8:52 where sleep looked like death to everyone.
      .
      C. How did God save Jesus from death when everyone saw Jesus die on the cross?
Mary in Gospel of John 20:15 asks a man if he has seen the body of Jesus and she does not recognise that she is talking to Jesus which shows how God can make people see and believe whatever God wants people to see and believe and explains how God saved the life of Jesus by making everyone believe Jesus was dead on the cross
To make Jesus fall asleep on the cross so that everyone believes Jesus was dead is the same thing that happened to Jonah when everyone believed Jonah was dead but Jonah was also saved by God.
God saved Jesus from death like God saved Isaac from death and like God saved Jonah from death.
      .
      D. What is the message Jesus delivered after God saved Jesus from death on the cross?
Jesus was saved on the cross with sleep and woke up in his physical body after 3 days to tell everyone that he has not yet ascended to God meaning he has not yet died meaning he was not sacrificed for anyone’s sins and Jesus in this same verse continues explaining that he is not God in Gospel of John 20:17 when Jesus says he will go to "my Father (The creator) and your Father (The creator); to my God (my Lord) and your God (your Lord)," meaning Jesus is teaching that he is human like every human and he is not God like every human is not God.
      .
      E. Why did God make Jesus, Jonah and Isaac believe they would die and then save them?
Every human is tested by God.
In the Gospel of Mark 15:34 and Gospel of Matthew 27:46 Jesus showed that he did not lose his trust in God when Jesus on the cross said “My God my God why have you forsaken me?’ and this is when God saved Jesus with sleep and woke up Jesus 3 days later to show that God does not forsake people who put their trust in God in the same way as Jonah was saved because he did not lose his trust in God and in the same way as Isaac was saved because he did not lose his trust in God.

Saying that you will go to eternal hell (or eternal separation from God) for "X", cannot 𝗻𝗼𝘁 be a threat. Furthermore, it creates quite a conundrum for people. It means that 2.2 billion Christians and 80 million Jews are gambling on the deity of Jesus, and the side that loses goes to hell. Tovia is somewhat mistaken if saying that the Bible teaches that the main reason for being a Christian is being afraid of going to hell.
I have to admit that there are Christians who make that their go to for everyone they meet. It is not the primary position of the Bible. Which of the apostles said that. The message of Jesus until right before the crucifixion was repent for the kingdom of God is at hand. So he said and so he commanded his disciples to preach.
What Jesus did do, the night he was apprehended, was to give permission to his disciples to pray in his name. This separates Christians from all others and why there is such an extraordinary record of people praying in the name of Jesus and the most extraordinary events taking place. Mature Christianity is learning to not use such a powerful resource haphazardly but prayerfully. A good example is the weather. Interference in weather without a good reason, just to see that God will do it, is a foolish venture. But when there is a good reason, it makes good sense to pray for what we want. So it is both something to be limited, but prayed for fervently when needed.
An example was when a friend in another state called about wanting the sweltering weather to moderate because they were having an open air meeting. That is a good reason to call on God. Rain was not predicted, but we are not dependent upon the weatherman. We asked for it to cool in the name of Jesus, and God sent a rain before the meeting and the place cooled down. I have seen other Christians tell the rain to go around their church picnic, and the clouds immediately began being blown like they asked God to do. What I want to say is that it is not exclusive to me that God answers prayer in the name of Jesus. It is not just to have something to do that people from all over the country request prayers from those who confidently pray in the name of Jesus. People don't have to be preachers. Just be willing to pray and people will beat a path to your door whenever people have a need. Some have asked me if I mind that some people only show up when there is an emergency. Somebody's in the hospital about to die, somebody on heroin, or cripple, or had a wife that has left for another man. Why would I be upset. It means that people are trusting that God will help them. Some people just aren't confident that they should pray alone. They need backup. It is a privilege to be able to pray in the name of Jesus. I get to be heard as if I were a completely righteous individual, when I know that I am not, except in the special sense that I am accepted in the beloved.

Psalm 55:15 et al. There are many scriptures in the Hebrew Bible that instill fear concerning hell. The perspective there is not does not make sense. What incentive is there to do right if there is no conscious understanding of punishment in this life before death. He has placed before us life and good or death and evil. We choose. Your decision if He saved you from yourself or not through the sacrifice of His Son. Choose wisely.

Why I hate monotheism..... Hell for choosing the wrong faith. I think the evidence of smoking is solid, if only the evidence for any monotheistic faith was as strong and unambiguous. There are many devout Jews, Muslims and Christians who are absolutely sure they are correct. The same can't be said about smoking - almost everybody would acknowledge its the wrong thing to do for your health. For hell - What is even worse is you find out your wrong with 100% certainty after you die.

All religious people are at the mercy or judgement of God. All of our hope is in God's forgiveness or else we all perish. God is like this, if you repent of your sins and turn to do good. God will forgive your sins. Period, all religious traditions and acts of worship aside from living right are worthless in the sight of God. In the end we are all sinners but God extends his arm in forgiveness. What's to hate about that bro?

12 “At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people-everyone whose name is found written in the book-will be delivered. 2 Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to SHAME AND EVERLASTING CONTEMPT.
Daniel 12 as cited above, clearly says that those who reject Yahuah and His Torah will also be resurrected, but to "SHAME AND EVERLASTING CONTEMPT." Now, what that means exactly, I don't know, but it doesn't sound like eternal torment, although, I suppose eternal shame could feel like "TORMENT." There are other places in Scripture like Psalms and Ecclesiastes that say, " the truly wicked WILL NOT RISE AGAIN." I take that to mean, it will be as if they were never created in the first place. I don't feel our Creator is so SADISTIC as to "TORMENT FOLKS FOR ALL ETERNITY" for 70 years of living on average. He is NOT a WICKED CREATOR as to be so sadistic. But, I was a Christian, and I tell you I play it safe, and stay close to our Creator because I LOVE HIM WITH ALL MY HEART, and don't want to be shamed for all eternity. That would be AWFUL for me....I know where I want to spend my eternity, and that is with Him, and I certainly want to go to Heaven if there is a place like that after death. I pray the next life is better than this one.

@@hrvatskinoahid1048 Yes, but I think that won't be exactly like you think. For example, when you let a fire burn, eventually what's burning will evenutally turn to ashes, and nothing left. "The smoke of their burning".....they will have been reduced to nothing, but the "the worms that eat them will not die, the fire that burns them will not be quenched, and they will be loathsome to all mankind.”
There, it speaks of the "worms not dying, and the fire not being quenched, and these people will be loathsome to all mankind, but it doesn't speak of "eternal torment." To me, it just means they won't live again EVER. It could be "eternal torment," I don't know, but I don't want to be in that camp either. I'm not the Judge of all the Earth, and it's up to Him what happens to the wicked. But, it would appear that the righteous of the Earth would finally get some justice if these people were punished, wouldn't it???

No needs to convert anybody to Judaism or the salvation. Those are for Nozim. Not our vision. Just focus on the world HERE. Judaism is about life HERE. Be better here. Increase Mitvot here. Torah is about facts in this world. He created the heaven and that is it. The rest is rules and actions to SERVE him. Ivdu et Hashem b Simcha. Transliterated. No doom and gloom.

Jesus was not warning against hell without backing up His authority, He literally rose from the dead according to early christians' testimonies. His apostles and their successors have taught heaven, hell and purgatory. There are even miracles with saints' bodies not decaying and producing sweet and pure aroma, clearly indicating that they are in heaven with the Lord.

Rabbi Singer, I appreciate the incredible work that you have personally adopted. Specifically:
    1. to help our Christian brothers and sisters to become free of idolatry, and
    2. to help our Jewish brothers and sisters to both avoid and walk away from Christianity.
I was puzzled by your statement about the oral law in this particular video (i.e., from time stamp 9:06 to time stamp 9:23).
I am unaware of the passages where:
    1. Moses mentioned the so-called "oral law",
    2. Moses referenced the so-called "oral law", and
    3. Moses told the Israelites that "you must obey the oral law, else you will be removed from the covenant (paraphrase)."
Would you kindly share the Torah passages that explain and / or identify the so-called "oral law"?
Please present two or three passages from the Torah (i.e., in context) to support said doctrine.
I want to understand. Thank you.
    Sincerely, a Jewish enquiring mind.
