We wanted to put assumptions to the test to see what we're missing out on because we're so busy assuming we already "know" a person. Join us as we discover why you should never judge a book by it’s cover in our series 'Tell My Story.'
We are all conditioned with certain biases. In this experiment, we challenged these biases by asking people to guess their blind date partner's interests and past experiences based only on their partner's appearance. When they learned their partner's real answers, they were shocked by how wrong they were.

Having standards is fine, but being classist is not. Notice I said that maybe she's "tired," i.e. that she's faced such stereotypes on an ongoing basis and may have (rightly or wrongly) assumed that's where he was coming from. Plus, nobody would ever *say* I assumed you were X because of your race etc. It would always be dressed up in polite language. This woman is dope. All of all in the comment section need to raise ya standards. There is no reason to compromise when considering a life partner. Plus she mentioned that relationships require work. It’s a completely optional and voluntary notion to be monogamous anyway, so if one were to choose to do so, naturally is should be an experience that suit one most appropriately.

Humility is key. I am happy that she finally accepted him for his financial indifference. We are always searching for the other person to be better financially. But if the person can help you to meet basic needs for the family including food, money, a warm pleasant home than in my opinion that’s good enough.
