അന്യരുടെ സ്വാകാര്യതയിലേക്ക് ഒളിഞ്ഞുനോക്കലാണ് ഒരു ശരാശരി മലയാളി.😁ഇതിൽ ഒരുകാലം വരെ ഞാനും ഇങ്ങനെയൊക്കെതന്നെ ആയിരുന്നു കുറച്ചു വിവേകം വന്നപ്പോൾ സ്വയം തിരുത്തി.👍
ഒരുപാട് ദുരിതക്കയങ്ങൾ താണ്ടി, ജീവിതത്തോട് പോരാടി ഇവിടെം വരെ എത്തിയ ചേച്ചിക്ക് ദൈവം ദീർഘായുസ് കൊടുക്കട്ടെ..
ശരിക്കും വേദന തോന്നുന്നു. ജീവിതം കെട്ടിപ്പടുക്കാൻ നെട്ടോട്ടമൊടുമ്പോഴും കൂർത്ത മൂർത്ത വാക്കുകളെയും നോട്ടങ്ങളെയും നേരിടേണ്ടി വരുന്ന വിഷമതകൾ. ചേച്ചി വളരെ സത്യസന്ധമായി തുറന്നു പറഞ്ഞു. നമ്മളൊന്നും അറിയാത്ത അനുഭവിക്കാത്ത നോവുകൾ.. സങ്കടം തോന്നുന്നു.
കഥ കേട്ടപ്പോൾ ശരിക്കും പാവം തോന്നി. സ്നേഹം കിട്ടാതെ, സംരക്ഷണം കിട്ടാതെ 'വളെരെ ചെറുപ്പത്തിലെ (15-18 വയസ്സിൽ ) തീർത്തും അനാഥയായി ,ഒറ്റയ്ക്ക് ഒരു റൂമിൽ ജീവിക്കേണ്ടി വരുക. അതും ഒരു പെണ്ണ് .എത്ര സങ്കടകരമാണ് ഒന്നാലോചിച്ച് നോക്കൂ .ദാരിദ്ര്യവും, അനാഥത്വവും അനുഭവിച്ചവർക്കേ അതിൻ്റെ വേദന അറിയൂ. ഈ അടുത്തുണ്ടായ വിവാദ സംഭവത്തിൻ്റെ പേരിൽ പൊതുവെ ഞാനും വളരെയേറെ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന മേഡത്തിനോട് എനിക്കും ഒരു അതൃപ്തി തോന്നിയിരുന്നു.എന്നാൽ ഈ നിമിഷം അതെല്ലാം മാറി.ഒരു ആത്മഹത്യയിൽ തീരേണ്ട പ്രതിസന്ധികൾ നിറഞ്ഞ ജീവിതം, ഇന്നത്തേതിലേക്ക് വെട്ടിപിടിച്ചൊരാൾക്ക് ഇങ്ങെനെ തന്നെ പെരുമാറാൻ കഴിയൂ. അതിൽ യാതൊരത്ഭുതവുമില്ല.Really i Iike you so much. എല്ലാ നന്മകളും നേരുന്നു.

Yes. Chennai and Bangalore are way safe for women than any place in Kerala. I was born and brought up in Kochi. I had faced lot of abuse in public places, be it bus or broadway. Where men intentionally brush against you or purposefully hit on you etc. 10 years in Bangalore, i never faced any problem.

Just for information only. Then the distance of various places from AVM studio and Vadapalani are not accurate. Some places you mentioned were within one or two kilometers away from those places.

Now, we were aware that a New Elphinstone Theatre was operational up till sometime in the 1970s, off Mount Road. So, we did some searching and it turns out that there was indeed an Elphinstone in Madras as well.
