I hate to say it, but I think the C6Z and C^ ZR1 look even better yet.

can someone explain to me why the zr1 (755hp) isnt that much faster than zo6 c7 (650 hp)
its only 0.3 faster in the 1/4 mile
zr1 1/4 mile 10.8 sec
z06 1/4 mile 11.1 sec

Love both cars but the tail lights are the latest Camaro lights and they need to be re-designed IMO.
Those tail lights do not look "EXOTIC" to me. They look bad, while the rest of the car looks great!!

Not really obvious, as the Z06 is quicker than the ZR1 on VIR, and gets to 60 faster as well. Give the ZR1 enough room and it would start to pull away, but both cars are very close to one another, which is wholly impressive for the Z06, considering it’s N/A.
not so obvious as the zr1 only really wins in rolling racing and like half+ mile drag racing. on track the z06 wins most of the time. the z06 can pretty much keep up with the 992 gt3rs

On Cup2Rs it beats them both

Great stuff! Do you think your C7 ZR1 ZTK would be a better track car if it had a DCT instead of the 8 speed auto? Or is it simply limited by it's front engine layout? I love both btw! Wish I could afford either. For right now I've got the lower level 2019 C7 Z06 with the manual 7 speed in the same Sebring Orange Tintcoat.
I think the weight ratio on the Z06 just makes it a better track car. It’s so balanced and in and out of turns, it’s so smooth and better traction. The Zr1 is still more “fun” to drive around town though.

@ 8:55 the upper fender vents cool the Transmission & Differential.
Who ever drives a ZR1, should already know all the ends and outs. You didn’t mention the torque difference.
Still in our beginning stages. Stay tuned though, we have two tracks days coming up. One runway and one full race track.
I turned this video off as soon as "Car Guy" called the Calipers, Brake Pads... @ 1:39! No car guy calls calipers brake pads, and then backs it up a second time, "got those Brembo brake pads"

Sorry for my shitty comment! I sometimes, can be a pretty passionate Corvette owner/enthusiast. There are some terminology problems that will make a knowledgeable person cringe. A naturally aspirated engine doesn't have intercoolers for example. Always room for improvment. Your channel is just getting started, you didn't deserve that. Factory says 0 to 60 in 2 6 seconds in the z06, you are a long way from that number???
It depends on a lot of things. We have swapped the tires to more of a street tire than a track tire as well. If the tires were hot and on a drag strip, we would be pretty close to that 2.6 figure. The actual time was 2.9 so we weren't far off.

@FirstClassRides1 let's hope it's on a track and not public roads. Either do it right and safe, or continue to do it the way you are (although I'd probably blurr out the speedometer in the final video) and probably get arrested or sued oe likely both.

Mistaken a Vette for a Lambo is NOT Necessarly good!!!. Meaning the Vette is an Italian sports cars "Wanna be" or a clone!, Vette needs to defined by its own looks and sound, Not as "Looks like a Ferrari" and "sounds like a Ferrari".
The vette is holding its own for its price as usual and looks amazing doing it.
The Vette can hold it's own against the Lambo all day long though. We have an Aventador as well and the Z smoked it at the track.
ZR1 is legendary but the C8Z all day for me. The updated interior alone. Let’s see a race between these two bad boys
