"Tamed the jumps down". Bro, I'm betting you're just becoming a more skilled rider. :) I went out to Cycle Ranch at the end of Oct last year. I want to go back out again, I'm just waiting on the right time and opportunity because it's about 2.5 hours. I rode a TON of laps on their side-by-side track. Oh man it's so much FUN being able to haul so much high-speed ass. On the opposite spectrum, their trials course right next to it is really sweet too. First gear jumps. Your video makes me want to go back even more now. :)
I’m new to motocross. I got me a Yamaha 250 for my first bike. Never really rode a dirt bike before only street bike what track would be best for me so you think ?
Do you mean of the tracks at Cycle Ranch? Or tracks in TX in general? At Cycle Ranch I would have you start on the Beginner track to get your feet under you and then have you try the night track. The vet track is very soft and can be hard to ride for new riders. If you mean other tracks- what area are you coming from?

I’m thinking about coming out this Wednesday ever since I bought my bike I have only been to white knuckle ranch but it isn’t very beginner friendly, however yalls track seem really cool and I’d love to come check them out
I haven't been to White Knuckle yet to compare. Cycle Ranch has a lot of variation between the tracks- it is definitely worth an hour drive for you to go check it out even as a novice rider. I am not affiliated with any of the tracks I review, just a rider who wants to help the community learn more about other places to ride ;) Ride safe and have fun!
yes we put in a rhythm section tha can be doubled, tripled or quaded. It's still a blast. We added an uphill triple and step up on horsepower hill. We will be making changes again for TexMex. Come out and ride and tell us what you think!
Vet track is the worst track there it is an after thought for riders who don’t like being around people. I’ve had this track as my home track for 4 years every weekend and have yet to see anyone going the wrong way that is not a common issue. Props for doing a review on it again, but it’s hard to look at a full review of a track when you go out and roll everything and don’t show the flow of how the track is designed to be.
What would you like to see on the Vet track? most people love the rollers and the tables. OUt of curiosity what lap times are you running on it? Which track is your favorite? What do you like about it?
@@cycleranchmx Ian, this comment was from over a year ago but still think the same. “Worst” probably wasn’t the right verbiage but I wanted some more highlights on the main track and night track. Vet track is an afterthought of riding because the main and night track are stars of the show. But, if I could offer some advice for the vet track, reshape the tables so they have a lip and groom it more often if able. Especially after the raptor offroad days. But I recently moved out of the area so unfortunately I will only get to make one or two trips down to the Mecca a year now.
@@mattmarsh215 Yeah the lips are still super mellow because believe it or not we got requests for it to have something easy on the property. There was definitely a raptor event where it got beat up and we did not get to rebuild right away. Look forward to having you back out soon!
