    I purchase an HP250 G8 i5 3 months ago and also decided last week to install a 2nd 2.5" SATA drive - only to discover there was no connection. The UK supplier has no interest in resolving this for me and says "that's the standard" - but the HP spec plus web info and reviews seem to indicate otherwise. I have raised a case with HP, sent them photos etc and am awaiting resolution

      @@nikossiotas Dear Nikos, thank you for your reply. This means if I improve RAM from 8 to 16 problem is solved? Only this? Some people advice me for the pages not to getting "stuck" or videos not to go slow, I need to have an SSD internal HD, but the aforementioned model HP 250 G8 I bought already has that! When I checked the CPU is 100% someone told me this should be 50% but as you already replied to improve CPU is impossible for HP laptop. Another suggestion was to buy or to install inside a processor i7 or i9 (the higher the better) this one if you check has i5 INTEL. What is your opinion on so many advices? Who is right or perhaps all of them are correct? Please also explain how I am lowering the quality of (let us say a Rumble ) video from Foul HD, once again many thanks, greetings and regards and sorry for not knowing those basic stuff.... I am a simple user...

    • @nikossiotas
      @nikossiotas 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@niiinc8270 First of all, there's no need to say sorry, noone born knowing everything. Intel i5 with 8 gb of ram and an ssd, should be enough in my opinion. Do you have many programs running in the same time, or many tabs open in your browser? If yes then maybe this is causing you problems. I can't think any other reason... What generation of i5 do you have? Is your laptop too old?

    I got this notebook as a present .. it's the worst PoS I ever used, and I will buy a Lenovo once I have the money! Build quality = 5%. All wobbly plastic shit and the diagonal m.2 slots shows the amount of 'effort' that went into technical design. Performance = terrible. The included chips i5-1135G7) cannot even remotely reach their supposed maximum performance because of bad cooling and probably power limitations, too.
    Stability and Usability = 10% =Terrible, because of a buggy crap BIOS/UEFI, which has incompatibilities to current Linux kernels resulting in data loss and also it blocks undervolting the CPU (because of some silly 'security concerns' which don't concern *ME* as the owner!) Undervolting could have solved the constant overheating because of terrible cooling system ..
    Expandabililty =10% ( a 2nd RAM slot) = mostly does not exist. I did not check if it has a BIOS whitelist, yet .. but I expect suckers like Dell to do such shit. Repairability = 0% = irrelevant, because it's just not worth.
    Utter junk.
