    In anticipation of the new Eldar refresh coming up I'm about to take my first real foray into airbrushing my Serpents and Falcons, and this was a big help.

      I'm an admin over on Facebook for the Eldar and Dark Eldar. It's the one with 11k members if you want to slide over there.

    Just got an air brush and I'm now researching techniques for them and some shortcuts/hacks to speed the process of model painting. If you can direct me to videos that can further my knowledge of shading, highlighting, and other effects using an air brush would be greatly appreciated

      Yes, it would have been nice if you answered Ron's question "Model's Workshop".

      Ron Stubert Go to Next Level Painting. This guy is trash with an airbrush and will lead you down a road of learning bad practices.

    Is that a Harder & Steenbeck? Best airbrush in the biz.

    Is your paint drying almost instantly? When I airbrush things (it's a harbor freight cheap airbrush) it takes a while for it to dry, so I'm all confused.

    • @ModelsWorkshop
      @ModelsWorkshop  8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes the paint it pretty much dry by time it hits the model. Don't pull back on the trigger as much.

    nice video, I'm thinking of starting airbrushing for my games workshop miniatures I'm tied between badger patriot and badger Krome I know the patriot has .5 and the krome has .2 and .3 but could I use the krome for priming as well as detail or should I get patriot

    • @ModelsWorkshop
      @ModelsWorkshop  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you're wanting to paint miniatures go for the Krome for sure. Patriot is a nice brush but the large nozzle size isn't suited for what we do with minis.

      +Models Workshop thank you and it's OK for using to prime with a 0.3 yes

    What is a good airbrush to get as a starter for models

    • @ModelsWorkshop
      @ModelsWorkshop  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rampage3000m Masters TC20T compressor with a Masters G43 or G44. Yes it's a cheapee airbrush but it's good to learn the basics on with low risk of breaking. If you want a good airbrush that is a bit more expensive but a good general purpose brush, get a Badger Patriot 105 (not the extreme). If you have anymore questions please post them or come by facebook.com/TheModelsWorkshop

    Thanks Larry! Great demo. What PSI you working at?

    • @ModelsWorkshop
      @ModelsWorkshop  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Generally I run between 20-40psi. If I remember right this was done around 20psi since I didn't want a bunch of overspray where I didn't want it.

    • @ModelsWorkshop
      @ModelsWorkshop  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Alexander Cruisey that would be a .15mm needle in that airbrush.
