Did anyone ever consider that the city leaders are getting paid for this? They most likely pay a lot of individuals through cash assistance and ebt, not all but a lot, and receive funding from the state in state grants for a problem that they don't want to go away. If it isn't changing you got your answer. imo The state was awarded 43 million dollars, in Jan 24 then Tim passed a 100 million dollars for the city in June 24. Y'all being finessed. That problem hasn't changed there, every time I see a new video on the subject of homelessness in Minneapolis, the homeless seem to have more expensive tents in their encampments. Finessed I tell ya...
Just sad to see how far the city has fallen the last few years. We moved away after living in multiple places throughout the Twin Cities area and other than family and friends, we don't miss being there. It shifted drastically after 2020 and it hasn't been the same. Hopefully people can get the support they need!
It's interesting to observe that the population of Minnesota was predominantly Scandinavian immigrants from the beginning of the last century. Look at what's going down in Sweden now....yikes!! They are offering 34k PER IMMIGRANT for them to self-deoort out of the country....
The Democrats are the root cause of this whole situation , they are responsible for high Property Tax which results in high rent , they are also responsible for keeping wages down in Minnesota . Most Financial experts will agree that a single person working at a non college degree full time job should be paying no more than 30% of their take home pay for housing and bills . When people work 40-50 hour per week and can't afford to pay rent it causes Depression , which is also the reason some people turn to drugs . Once a person is homeless it is very hard to keep a job and almost impossible to get a job . The Homeless could have a better situation but most of the money that should be for the homeless is spent on Illegal Immigrants and Foreigners that come here and take advantage of the systems and push out these people who are now homeless . I know this for a fact because my elderly mother who had to get signed up for housing assistance when she got older was pushed out of her housing and had to come live with me for the last few years of her life . Here is an example , there are about 47,000 Illegal children in public school in Minnesota and it costs about $14,000 per child per year , meanwhile there are homeless camps and there will be more . Some of the people who are complaining about these homeless camps now , will be in a homeless camp in the future because they will be pushed out of the system too , or priced out when rent gets too high for them .
I seen in 2010 that we were being made into a 3rd world country. The system in place intends to make it alot worse until the Minnesotans will give into the Communism. I will never give in to death I do part.
Keeping in mind that very few homeless are actually people down on their luck. I worked social services. Most of them are either mentally ill, or substance abusers and choose to be homeless.
I cant even imagine trying to help people who don't want to be helped. Hopefully, you were able to get some people motivated to make a change in their lives. @@maidenminnesota1

The Demise of Minneapolis
emphasis on Dem
I’m definitely going to watch the fall of Minneapolis.
@@JavierHardeman199XI watched it and it blew my mind. It was just wild.
Who would vote Waltz after seeing this 😅
It is now 20% Somalian. Welcome to the 3rd world, Minnesota. You voted for it.
Funny, these encampments never pop up in Edina, Minnetonka, or Wayzata. If they did they would be dismantled in 24 hours
Minnetonka still votes about 40% Republican, that's why, but it's getting worse here, too.
Only a matter of time. None of this is accidental
I drove Uber for several years and am familiar with the areas you mentioned. I noticed these areas are just beginning to decline. They don't live in tents, but many live in apartments and motels. Adding to the issue are the many wealthy homeowners who hire cheap labor (lawncare, roofing, etc) where most of these workers are foreign born.
BECAUSE THEY WOUDN'T BE ALLOWED
It “blows my mind” that Tampon Tim is their governor. Democrats… Your votes caused this insanity.
These camps are shining examples of local and state government failure.
Dealt with some of these same things before I had to move. THANK YOU so much for objective coverage. Makes me feel better to see others dealing with similar issues.
Voting democrat , it will only get worse
They will, trust me.
Uniparty
Hasn't even been no uniparty here, just been democrat tyranny here due to the amount of BLM demorats here, which is way worse than a uniparty@@zachscott4867
Demorats left without a single ounce, even a single smigen of checks and balances is a nightmare that will turn our city into the next Detroit soon enough, if not worse.
She'll vote it over and over and over again but sit here crying on TV pretending it's not her fault
Keep electing the same clowns expect the same circus!
P.T. Barnum was right - a sucker born every minute... and they all vote democratically.
This is happening in Republican states too
@MusicLover-ui9sm Mostly in blue cities though. There will always be crime but these blue cities are over the top.
so, what's the solution?
Why don't they just help them individually. It's wrong to wait anything from any politician. Those are concerns with their own interests only.
This is an universal problem. People should grow up and share everything willfully.

No one should be allowed to live in a tent and urinate or defacate in public!
Tell Waltz we're not feeing the JOY. Wake up sheep; Most in this area keep voting for the one's who created the mess: Democrats.

Elections are a fraud. Voting does nothing.
OK comrad putin. What exactly is the republican plan? Lock them up and throw away the key? Jail isn't free. We used to have poor farms. That didn't cost us anything.
@@smokingjoe9864right... "comrade"... Real smooth analogy there.
I think they should move the camp to be next to the governor's mansion, how about that?
MN is not an isolated example -- the results speak for themselves, pull your head out of the sand
Votes don't matter lots of fraud. Democrats and Republicans serve JEWS.
@@JD-mz1rl that is the republican plan? Move the encampment next to the capital? Minneapolis had mens hotels, women boarding houses, and 50 cent bed flop houses. We can not gentry all the districts. The Scoundrel needs a refuge also. Where are the adult districts?
At the end of these interviews the interviewer needs to ask who these people voted for. I mean it is the city, it is MPLS - and the chances they voted for the current incumbents is extremely high.
Right! And then after more crying and maybe some gluten free snacks, the interviewer needs to ask, "What party will y'all be voting for in the next election?" And they'll say they're STILL VOTING DEMOCRAT!!
DFL resolution: Just don't look at the encampment and close your windows and put in ear plugs if you can still hear it but if one person wears a MAGA red Trump hat, that is terrible and we Dems will do everything to get that person off the street and to lose his job..
This happening all over the US by design

Did anyone ever consider that the city leaders are getting paid for this? They most likely pay a lot of individuals through cash assistance and ebt, not all but a lot, and receive funding from the state in state grants for a problem that they don't want to go away. They just passed a 100 million dollar deal for homelessness in Minneapolis.
Wow this is a real problem, god bless them and hopefully we have people who are willing to take action
Get rid of Ilan Omar.
And Walz, and Frey.

Oh yes they are. They are enablers. Look at their policies.
@@maidenminnesota1 That is true , and also for some Native Americans it is even generational trauma , they don't fit in to this society and have gone from alcohol abuse to drug abuse in the older ones and straight to drug abuse in the younger ones . Do you think all urban people are a homogenous blob? Just because the majority of voters in an area voted one way doesn't mean everyone did. Furthermore, the majority of eligible MPLS voters don't vote in municipal elections, so it is statistically unlikely that a resident voted for this.
@@DerpPickles When you add up the DFL and Democrat Parties - Minneapolis leans about 90% left. The last Republican to serve as Mayor was Richard Erdall - who served for 1 day (December 3, 1973). The last elected Republican was P. Kenneth Peterson - elected in 1957 - 67 years ago. The last Republican on the Minneapolis City Council was elected in the early 70's. 12 out of 13 members of the City Council are DFL - with one - Robin Wonsley - an Independent Socialist. 4 out of the 12 DFL members also ran on the Democratic Socialists of America line.
