Nonsense about winning the fans over after Plymouth. Even the wins he got were poor, Stoke win we could have been 2-3 down in the first half. Plymouth game we were atrocious in the first half. I’m normally one for giving managers time but the Newcastle game was atrocious. He gave the players little to no chance with the tactics employed. He did nothing to change it throughout the game. We played narrow and deep and played more long balls in one half than we’d played all season. Every SAFC would have taken whatever happened that day as long as we’d had give it a go, Michael Beale threw that great chance away for the fans and the players. Just days after NUFC had been run ragged by LFC and we allowed them to dictate the game. The same game he threw AJ in for a full 90 mins after being out half a season, guess what now he’s injured again! Terrible management.
