This boss was giving me a difficult time. In particular I wasn't sure how to avoid the spinning attack that takes up the entire deck of the boat and goes to a cutscene where you lose a ton of health if you get hit. But I eventually beat him. About that attack - the shadow clone isn't necessary and while I could avoid the first part of the attack I kept failing to dodge the second part. All you have to do is double jump and rush right before the blades start spinning but delay the presses a bit like if you're trying to cross a large gap and you should be able to avoid it. That's what worked for me. Also a little trick I found was to equip the amulet that turns the arrows into burning arrows (upgraded damage at the blacksmith) and occasionally hit him with them to chip away at his health and only shoot him again when the fire effect wears off. I think I took out nearly a third of his health by using all of my 25 arrows on him. Not everyone will have that though by this point in the game.

Good tips, as long as you get that double jump, freeze dash to work both times he spins his chains, you can spam the rest of the battle. It does take your life bar close to empty though.
It's worth noting if you have good parry timing...that the shockwave he produces in the downward lunge can be parried with no knockback and can help if you need some Athra Surge energy Was indeed a tough as nails fight....that Ultimate move you have to stay in the air for was the one that baffled me the most Appreciate your tips on that 😁
Man, the craziest thing happened to me earlier. I was headed to fight Orod, and along the way, nothing was dropping my health. When I faced him, I was getting my ass stomped, but I won with full health. The fight took forever, but I’m not complaining. 😂 Has anyone else experienced that glitch?
I got to him last night and yeah, no damage was happening hahahaha I thought maybe I accidentally put some sort of assist on or whatever but I was like bless hahaha so I just sliced him up hahaha
@@tjbreen9095 ok I will..I have betean him all difficulty levels woth 0 damage too...I am not saying he is easy or anything ..his attacks are parryable and in this guide it says his aatcks are not parryable...I will upload a video in my feed when I am free..I will let you know
