This game makes me question my mental health
I think Celeste was the only game that helped me prepare for this one. 😂
This game is Celeste levels of crazy sometimes
Nah this nothing compared to Celeste. Surely they got some inspiration from Celeste level design, but Celeste can be much more brutal, and I love it
@@FelipeKana1 i never played celeste i might gotta check it out now
Did y'all ever played hollow Knight?
much more brutal.
Best ever
The hidden trap floor was insane. The devs were absolutely trying to kill you.
That's why the reward was just a bloody skin
@@lordgilgamesh8762 Yeah, what a joke. I just did this sh*t, my disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined.
@@joshpl5451 the #1 you just hold a teleport location under and time it so you go back down, wait for it to finish, go back one room, go back and it's opened. no need to do all that :p still works in 1.0.4 btw
This had me pulling my hair today
When I played this room, a bug happened and the bottom door was left open. I just waited for it to finish.
I thought I was a bad player but reading the relatable comments gave me comfort.
Naw it's not just you. I think the devs are big fans of the Saw movies.
The Impossible Climb! I could feel my blood begin to boil each time the spikes killed Sargon by just an inch. There were some very annoying ones in the Pit of Eternal Sands too.
Annoying is an understatement 😂😂😂😂
Totally agree, for me the Impossible Climb was no.1 in difficulty, and the hidden trap floor the no.2
Yes Pit of eternal sands
Oh man the xerxes coin in the pit of eternal sands, having to jump around those red crystal spikes and crumbling platforms and trap pillars. Spent a solid hour and half on that one until I decided to screenshot it and noped out to try another day😢
I haven't got to these levels yet, but looking at them I'm already MAD🤣🤣
I'll just pass. I despise frustrating difficulties like this.
On soul
"The Impossible Climb" was my personal descent into insanity.
Agree
idk, after all the speech i expected something harder, you just need to understand where the coins are and that's it
Wish I could try it, but the Hermit in my game is bugged and I can't get the quest from him 😫.
It's not as bad as the hidden floor (due to its volume of different patterns to remember).
Not sure if people realized but depending on if the pillars are going up or down your ability to climb up is more smooth or sluggish. It's like a manipulation in gravity. So as you go up you need to time it between these intervals to make it more consistent and easier. Also leave a shadow clone at the bottom so when you get the third bell you don't have to worry about losing on your way back down, you can just instant transmission
😊😊❤❤
The amount of times I raged at #5 and #1! I still haven’t completed #1.
If you're only interested in the reward there is a glitch you can exploit so that you don't need to do the puzzle
@@StoneEdgeGaming please tell 🙏
Yep right here

@@StoneEdgeGaming thanks mate. You’re awesome.
Spoiler:
Reward sucks AF..
The fact that you die when you touch a PIXEL of a spike or crystal is just excruciating.
yeah I felt like some of the hitboxes could use some work. It is really frustrating to be on a wall, then jump and clip some spike on the wall above your head.
😂 Facts
This game definitely has some gnarly platforming in it, it can be so frustrating but satisfying when you finally get through these parts
For anyone really frustrated with the Impossible Climb, if you set the Shadow of the Simurgh at the bottom, once you get all three bells, you can just teleport back to the start and it counts.
wait it doesn't reset them like the coins?
@@alphahunterd I thought it would reset, but I tested with one bell first. And it let me teleport back. I’ll take it.
gosh darn it! I got all three bells one time in all the times i've tried it so far! I haven't gotten them again since. i could've finish it... 😭 @@pixelatedsoul
"Told you i was skilled"
I had no idea of the chakram teleport blew my mind
You unlock it further in the game after one boss fight! Won't spoil which one, though
I love those jumping passages. At the first tries you think it is just impossible to do and that you will never make it.
But with every try you get a little bit futher. And when you managed to pull it off it is a great feeling.
Coming from the Ori games I knew I had to get this game once I saw the first gamplay of it. Big success.
Man I love this game. So glad we have it and is definitely up there with some of the best metroidvsnias (in my opinion)
Mate what county are you from?
It is super solid for sure. In my top ten most def.
Its always nice to see videos like this after beating all of the challenges myself
Someone likes to be worshipped ....
I knew that the hidden floor trap room would be on first place dude. I mean the real hard part was remembering the order since u have nearly no time to react😅but these are the things that make the game challenging and great dude. I hope this series will continue exactly like this dude
Great list! I struggled to figure out the way to do #5, and #1 took forever. I haven't gotten to #2 or #4 yet but this video will certainly help, thanks!
You're welcome! I think they did a great job with these challenges :)
@@StoneEdgeGaming now i know why this game don't get popular unnecessarily hard
Some of these platforms are a thing of nightmares.
Phenomenal skills man 🔥🔥🔥
Thank you bro! 🙏🏼
This game was a joy to play.
So you aren't playing it!? It hasn't replayability then, back then in the trilogy players were replaying those games for tenths if not hundreds of times, so addictive they were. Even now I'm replaying them occasionally at GOG.
@@artmanrom sO yOu ArEnT pLaYiNg ThEm
@@artmanromso you aren't playing them?!?!
@@mechanicalmonk2020 Constantly, they are classic games, but it looks like this one isn't of so much good since players are playing it just for once.
Great video! I agree. All these sections were some of the hardest in the game! They were very challenging! But it was rewarding and satisfying once you finish it. But some of these sections took me many, many tries to beat them. Lots of learning and repetition. This is such a great platforming and metroidvania type game! Great video really enjoyed it!!!Subscribing!
Thank you so much! Much appreciated! 😊
I agree! As a soulsborne player and a huge fan of prince of Persia 2: The Shadow and The Flame on the SNES, I give the lost crown a 10/10. Thoroughly enjoyed this. While a bit challenging, it was so rewarding. Love the soundtrack and level design too. Ubisoft knocked it out of the park with the abilities as well.
I definitely won't be completing that game 100%. This is madness!...
My controller and wall are happy that will not attempt to try any those challenges.
I finished the game at 97.4% and platinum, but there are some coins that are difficult to get and I'm missing 5 collectibles
@dreafetr I think I'm at the end, on the last boss. I think I miss a coin or two as well, nut I got most... and the impossible climb. That thing is madness. Since I died facing big bad V., I think I'll give it another try at the next pass since I have the option to restart at the tree.
The way you teleported with the chakram killed me 🤣🤣👍🏻
😊😊😊❤❤😂😂😂
Two words: YOU ROCK
In my opinion there were some sections in the sand pits that were harder than some of the ones listed. #3 I got through on the first try and didn’t even have my chakram teleport yet.
But the #1 puzzle was insane and took me countless tries to get it perfectly.
The one in the very upper left of the sand pits map was pretty tough - I had to sit with it for a while.
Love the platforming in this game.
Thank you so so. so much with video i was finally able to the UpperCity Platforming Section Thank you once again you rock you amazing amazing legend. 👍
Very kind of you! You're welcome 😁
After completing all of these, I wonder if I should go back to Hollow Knight White Palacd and finish it. It was my 1st metroidvania. I took a look at all the buzzsaws and just noped out.
Do it
If you can finish the path of pain without much difficulty, these other platforming games are a walk in the park.
This game really tests my patience but love every second playing
Great Video. Would agree with all of them but not in that particular Order. For me Platforming Sections where you dont have time to Breath are the Hardest ones. Because of that i think the "impossible Climb" was way easier than the Xerxes Coin you showed on #5. On the Climb you can stay for 5 minutes on the same spot to think trough your next steps while on the Xerxes Coin section you have to get through the whole Parcour in one go without that many saving spots to pause.
Yeah that's fair. I ranked them based on how long it took me to get them down in one go. The Impossible Climb gave me some trouble because of how precise you needed to be with those short spiked pillars.
@@StoneEdgeGamingI actually had zero trouble with the impossible climb surprisingly. The trap room took me about 15 minutes to get done though, it was tricky. No way anyone gets that on their first try either, unless they watch a video beforehand, to know where to preemptively put your clone to teleport to.
I'd say a lot of this platforming looks harder than it is simply because the game controls so well.
@@StoneEdgeGaming Oh yeah it feels amazing to move Sargon around, especially once you unlock all the abilities. This is some of the smoothest platforming and general gameplay I've seen out of any metroidvania platformer. The game is phenomenal, even more so since Ubisoft made it. Normally their games are generic assassin's Creed open world games.
hats off bro for the last traps in the hidden floor
one of the best games i ever played.
Got the platinum trophy yesterday, can’t wait for a sequel or dlc. A great game for 2024 until Silksong launches.
I got mine recently too. Would love a sequel for prince of Persia, Ubisoft released a banger.
"until Silksong launches" never gonna happen dude. I've killed my hopes for this game.
I have to do everything in the video above for the platinum 🤪🙈
I found a sneaky workaround for the trap room where as you jump up, you keep hanging underneath but the door stays open and the game activates. The entire room goes through the motion without you in it. At the end you just jump up 🤣 found it by mistake
Im absolutely loving the difficulty of this game. I started on the second hardest difficulty for my first playthrough and its one hell of a challenge.
Good video!
sick skill!!!!🎉🎉🎉
2:04 how to do it on PS?
The platforming in this game makes Grime look like a day in the park
Nice vid!
Agreed with 1 and 2. Personally I didn't find 4 that bad, I had more trouble with the parrot mission, and the other Xerxes coin in the 5 area. (Although it was annoying that I missed some things in the village/sea and had to redo it.)
A lot of the difficulty in this game is trial and error, especially with the platforming. Which is great as the game teaches you to get better while still requiring a level a skill to progress.
I’m still early in the game, do you need the last one to get all the achievements/trophies for the game?
Amazing
I can never do no.5! The red crystal sands ones are difficult as well. 👍👍
Just finished the game today, the fact that some of these hard platforming sections are part of the main quest absolutely put me on the brink of insanity.
Game is fun, very addictive, super challenging, but at the same time it made me rage to the point where I start talking to myself like a psycopath, especially when you insta-die on a platforming section of spikes, red crystal rocks etc… and have to restart from the beginning made me go insane.
Isn't there an option to bypass these? I've never tried it but there's an option that lets you do that just not sure the extent of it.
@@updaterequired1173 it is
It can be on par with Celeste and Aeterna Noctis challenging level. Now i really like these challenges.
😊😊❤❤❤
Personally i didn think the impossible climb was that difficult compared to some other ones. But i also did it basically last. Overall, loved all the platforming in this game. Very challenging and very rewarding to complete!
The fact that I did "The Impossible Climb" COMPLETELY differently and I did it twice really speaks to how well designed this game is IMO. Well...except for that BS on the hidden floor. Thank goodness there's a cheat for that one.
Impossible climb is the one I took a break. The other was challengy but not intense has this one, damn spike hitbox
Does the accessibility option work for these sections to? I noticed theres an option to basically bypass all platforming sections... Do they mean this? Or does is do it for you but you dont get the item?
The bypass platforming option doesn’t apply for these puzzles since they are for bonus items/skills. If it did, this game would be too easy!
The hidden village entrance reminds me of the spiked corridor from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night when you are playing as Richter.
The sections feel like Rayman origins and legends
Mastered them all. Nothing to worry about...
Oh man, call me old school, but the difficulty of these sections only made them more satisfying to complete. Cheers and rock on to everyone else who is trying to 100% complete this game!
Completely agree. Haven't had this much fun on a video game in years. Just got 100% a few hours ago!
@@FairbrotherStudios awesome! It definitely feels good to see that 100% after beating Vahram! Congrats!
Also I think the platforming challenge in the upper left part of the sand pits map is harder than a lot of the challenges listed here. I think it was the hardest one in the game for me.
These definitely gave me some headaches - the only one i have left is the impossible climb
i had a lot of problems with the impossible climb because for some unknown reason after using the grappler the second jump isn't always the same height. also why do you have to wait for the first plattform to come down on every try?
also the trap room would be more fun if you din't have to memorize the full width spikes.
How to turn the purple platform to solid and vice-versa? 2:35
#1 I think I actually I died most at point when you only have to stay still while spikes go around you.
Hidden floor trap room did earlier. Took me about 30 trys lol
This game is very challenging 🤯
I played that last section blind. I thought to myself that as hard as it was, there must be something amazing at the end of it.
30 minutes later...a skin. That looks exactly like all the others. Except purple.
This game is awesome!
I remember attempting all of these many times. I still haven't finished #1 but it isn't needed for an achievement so I may never go back to it. Great game though - highly recommend it.
Great 👍
Man mine brain hurts with al those trap puzzles
My biggest issue is that the blue phasing in/out obstacles are actually buggy. Ive died to blue spinning blades a full second or 2 after phase shifting. It's pretty bad and resets runs unfairly.
Bro..unbileavable
I came across #3 before I got the teleport chakram, making it harder than it needed to be lol.
Afaik when I did the trap room at the beginning of the game it was easier and shorter as I couldn't teleport. ...unless I'm mixing it up with something else.....
#1 was one of the hardest for me, i have up several times and finished in the late game ;) #5 took me about an Hour, i made it several times to the last one but forget to teleport. And i didnt even know this was the last one, i didnt watch any video before i completed Platin. The other ones shown in the video were not that much a problem, a few attempts and it was done, but some of the bossfights were pretty challenging, even on normal
I beat the game yesterday and don't remember any of these moments. So there is still a lot to discover after finishing the game.
I was just exploring when I found #5. Decided it wasn't worth the Xerxes.
2:20 Ran #3 without the Chakram Shadow ability. Turns out you can dash between those spikes, but it's a pain!
I had no ideas you could hold triangle and morph into the wheel that’s insane. Il have to try that tomorrow. I done number 5 today trying to clean some things up. I had no idea if was even harder to come. Your videos will help thanks for doing them
Made 2 from 5. I never managed 5 and 2 (5 did not seem so hard when you find how to pass, but I didn't find the way), and finally used a dirty trick to beat 1 after hours of trying.
Then, the first hidden treasure would not activate for me, preventing me of unlocking many trophies, so I dropped it and i'm now playinf Infinite Wealth.
1 and 5 were the only ones I couldn't accomplished or at least not yet.
the boxes level made me so mad. But i was able to finish it, all in all amazing insane game
boxes level is a little easier when you get the chakram teleport upgrade (granted that only helps at the section where you're holding the ring against the wall, but still)
Jesus this looks like fun. I'll just leave those trophy's well alone 😂
You forgot the pirate bird side mission...that one took me a while
Thanks You Saved my Money 😂
Some of these areas still haunt me in my dreams.
Impossible Climb is a lot easier if you set a clone at the bottom then warp back when you get all 3 items. I didn't think of this at first but another vid clued me in.
I skipped #1 because it thankfully wasnt required for an achievement.
It won't work to travel back after getting the object
I think a big problem with some of these traversal puzzles is that they’re very much trial and error (since you don’t know what’s coming until you hit it) and require you to follow some very precise steps in exact order. I pretty much gave up on completing the more difficult ones.
And controlling failing some time too
I found your #5 section to be much, much more difficult than anything you ranked above it.
Nah, it is the easiest or the 2nd easiest.
they really nailed it after two thrones
That trap room is truly a work of a psychopath.
if you want to make the #5 puzzle alot easier leave a clone at the middle wall hook part and just go back to that once you have the coin.
You lose the coin when you use clone.
I haven't gotten to any of these yet. I guess this is my cue to give up now? Hahahahaha I know this will piss me off. This reminds me of Battletoad. It used to give me nightmares for being so difficult. Hahahaha
Most of those are optional areas
I've completed 4 and 3 so far. 5, I decided not to try. Hahaha not worth it. Hahaha
This game brings me back to insane hard 80s Nintendo games with sweaty palms of death. The only game to get this close was Metroid dread.
That first one for a damn xerxes coin? These are fierce puzzles hand and forearm crippling.
One of the game testers or developers behind this game must have made this video. There's no way an average player would know all this.
The hidden floor trap room had me tearing my hair. All that to get an off colour costume that i dont even like
Beaten three of these. Can't get the other two because I'm missing a critical component. The whip.
Well, I need to play this now. It doesn't look that bad. Play Aeterna Noctis and then come back to this. 😀
Are any of these mandatory to complete the main quest??
Nup!
Don't agree with the order but those are good picks.
For the #1, I had a cool bug, the trap door on the floor was still open, I just started the event and waited outside… 😅😂
Nice, me to 😂
The parrot not being on this list is insane
0:25 you don't have to jump back, just toggle the wall then immediately dash forward, touch the next wall to get you dash back then repeat
I managed all of these jumping puzzles #1 was infuriating but i found the jumping puzzke to find the pirates parrot worse because at the time i didnt have double jump.
Sometimes, it seems you have to die to catch the next move. It doesn't seem like the best gameplay design. But i do love this game. Cant put it down.
