Hi! Thanks for watching my tribute video to one of my favorite fantasy characters ever created, the king of monsters himself, Godzilla.
I absolutely loved his Monsterverse films and I wanted to do something for it for a while now. Here it is! Hope it's decent.

Yes. It was the best. Too bad the next two Godzilla movies decided throw out anything good this movie had-excellent POV shots, full view of the monsters when needed, expanding the characters further- instead the second movie killed off Dr. Graham instead of further developing her character, making her stronger and bolder. The character of Admiral Stenz was not done in line with what happened in this movie-He would certainly have been convinced that Godzilla was not harmful, instead of working to destroy him. He and Serizawa should have been friends and there was no mourning from him for Serizawa nor any scene between him and Godzilla with meaning.
Godzilla's signature scream never stops to make my skin crawl.

I will LITERALLY never get over Mothra's wings being mimicked in Godzilla's nuclear pulse at Ghidorah at 5:16. She literally gave her all to give him a chance to recover and when she died, her essence rained over him and she saved him once again.

Godzilla has been my childhood ever since I was 5 years old. To see the King of Monsters back in action truly brings a smile on my face like a little kid once again. Godzilla will always be apart of my life especially when it comes to strength and I will always be thankful that I was introduced to Godzilla. One thing I will say that I will miss in Godzilla vs KONG will be the presence of Serizawa.

4:40 - 4:52 is just absolutely incredible, every impact made was in beat with the music. This trailer gave me chills, outstanding skills!!!

2014 and 2019 movie edits have to be the BEST movies to make edits on, they always have parts in the dark or rain which makes the atomic breath scenes all alot better, and the silhouettes, ohh the silhouettes

Then godzilla went full beast mode and kill destroyah also killing himself. Junior absorbed the radiation and becomes the new godzilla! Hope you understand now :)

The attention to detail in this movie is absolutely astonishing “in 1954 when submarines reached a lower depth it awakened something” the first Godzilla appearance and movie was in 1954

Godzilla not really being on the side of humanity, but just out to stop things from being too destructive, is perfect. It forces everyone involved to choose if they can fight the battles themselves, or align with a monster who loosely shares their goals. This video really exemplifies how humanity just chose to accept Godzilla because he was the better of any option they have available.

This is a fantastic tribute. I love the ending and use of the trailer for the Godzilla vs. Kong movie-lovely addition! My favorite part of the tribute was 4:50 when Ghidorah’s three heads bite into Godzilla, and the beat of the music is in sync with it!

@@trevorphilips9065 appreantly there actually is word of god statements from the writers of the movie, Eric Pearson and Max Borenstein, which come from the art book for the movie "Godzilla vs Kong: One Will Fall: The Art of the Ultimate Battle Royale" where they praise Kong's strength during his first fight with Godzilla and said that Kong is a genuine threat to Godzilla's rule as King of the Monsters.
Of course those statements with Adam Wingard's word, where he stated that Godzilla was toying with Kong the entire movie up until Kong bonked him with the axe, but it should be noted anyway

@@trevorphilips9065 agreed, though I think Godzilla is stronger because once he got bonked by his own breath he almost instantly overwhelmed him and left him to die after stepping on his chest. Though based on how the movie paints them both, it's not an overwhelming difference
