I'm convinced there's a special place in Heaven for people who help or save helpless animals.
insha’Allah (God-willing), yes there is a special place. You see, most Muslims will know this story:
One blistering day in the dead of summer, a ‘lady of the night’ was walking around the city. What she was doing is anybody’s guess, but she found herself near a well. People would come by and fill up water by using the lever to pull up the water bucket.
She then noticed a thirsty dog lying near the well. It was nearly dead, from both dehydration and malnutrition. The sun’s heat was also especially cruel that day. Everyone ignored the dog as it was filthy and thought to be a stray. The lady had a moment of compassion; she pulled some water up from the well, poured it in her shoe, and gave this make-shift ‘bowl’ to the dog.
God was so pleased by this action that He forgave her for all of her sins. Even the sins she committed at night with strange men. Needless to say, she was likely headed to a bad place in the afterlife due to the adulterous sins she committed, but the Almighty’s Grace overcame all of this.
Why?
Because she helped one of God’s creatures that was helpless. That couldn’t even ask for the water. She saved the dog’s life in this world, so the Almighty saved her in the next (Hereafter).

So yes, I would dare to say there is a special place in Heaven for those who care for His creatures. And the Almighty Knows best.

Well, just to give a different perspective. I fully agree that Anna is a great person for taking in this cat - Bart - and that good things come to people simply because of their caring attitude in the world. But it ends there. We live in this world, and there is no proof - none - of anything outside of it (world = universe), no matter how much people want it to be that way, or how much they were conditioned growing up to believe it to be that way. Which is fine. As long as compassionate and caring behavior persists on this earth, in this universe, the outcomes will be the same, especially as far as animals (that are not human) are concerned. Great job, Anna!

This cat had a home previously. He knows humans need to let him in the house. Somehow, he lost his or was abandoned. It was so good of you to answer his call for a home.❤
Maybe his owner passed. Some elderly have cats because they don’t need walking, they pass, and the family just let the cat fend for themselves. Cruel, and unforgivable. I’d never leave an animal. My family knows if anything happens to me, my babies are to be kept. I’d haunt them otherwise 😂❤
Elderly people possessing cats and do not have long to live should ensure that their cat pets are adopted by people who love cats. The vets can certainly be of immense help in these situations. Alternatively, children of elderly cat loving parents need to take the responsibility of ensuring forever homes for the cats of their parents. This goes for pets of all types. To simply abandon their pets is abject cruelty towards pet animals.
It's an honor to be selected by a stray cat. He found his home and selected his person to always love. ❤❤❤❤

It sounds like he was dumped. He had a hard time trusting, but once it’s earned, you’re chosen. Good on Anna for giving Bart the home and companionship he needed.

I agree that he was dumped, and probably not too long after he showed up at Anna’s house. I wouldn’t think a cat that is feral would solicit human attention to the extent Bart was.

Seeing him patting the window was so sweet. Once he had a taste of affection he became addicted to love. And when he offered his trust it was absolute. *He understood that his human protector was a true friend.*
My little rescue dog is glued to my hip his choice. They found him at the shelter when they got to work the. Next morning. We are busy turning him into a spoiled little angel.he is a special gift from God i know i don't deserve.

@@grouchingtiger did you pay attention to the video? He wouldn't allow them near him at first and they had a foster cat to protect. There are certain diseases that could have hurt their foster.

That was how I got my second cat-- the best boy in the whole wide world. He was a street cats but so loving and friendly. He never met a stranger and had love for everyone and love for life. He passed in 2019 at 17yrs old. He was a gift from God. I still cry missing his affection. Bart is a GIFT!
Now that is unconditional love. He chose you. You are blessed. ❤

We rescued a stray kitty. She showed up at the porch one day. It was perfect timing because the following week a snow storm was coming. He named her Peanut. She lived in the porch for a whole month until she felt comfortable with us being around us. We have two cats and the get along well enough. We love her so much ❤

A stray cat has chosen me. I feel awful because he was abandoned. I have 2 dogs and a female cat. I can't bring him in because I don't have the extra money for his initial vet bill to make sure he doesn't have any diseases. I don't know what to do.
@@amandalynngoz Maybe you can ask around in the neighbourhood? Or what if you post a video on TH-cam about the cat explaining the situation? I'm sure someone would be willing to help out. I would but I live on the other side of the world (assuming you're from the US) and I barely have money to make ends meet myself.

He obviously had an owner who either died or abandoned him, and so now after learning to trust and love again, he is afraid of loosing his human again, which is why he is constantly following her, afraid to let her out of his sight.
Such a shame he had to go through something like that, but at least now he has found an Angel here on Earth who loves him, has adopted him, and will take care of him for the rest of his life. Such a sweet and loving cat, and I hope they are together for a long time to come.
I keep saying this, I get so tired of repeating myself, whenever an animal bonds to you YOU ARE THEIR parent!!! Forever. I am very lucky as well, I have a feline son, as well. Bart is your loving beautiful son. Congrats! I wish you to have a great and joyful life together.🤠
His intense need would melt my heart. Cats are such soothing pets. Without my beautiful cat I wouldn’t have coped with the loss of my amazing husband of so much long years.Just the presence of her company is a true comfort.
I have a b/w cat like this that was a feral stray I take care of. His name is Batman, and he is quite possibly the most lovey cat I've ever had. If you are anywhere near him outside he absolutely has to be all up in your world.

When they're that loving, you should take them inside. Cats that live outside have a much shorter lifespan.
@@lisabelle7553 Thank you for the concern, but he doesn't like being inside much, so we don't force him. And unfortunately, even though he is fixed, he still sprays occasionally if we don't watch him close. That gets old quick.
He is neutered, has his vaccines, gets fed twice daily, and is treated as needed for any pests. We also live where the temps average 85 year round, and he gets to hang out with his 7 other outdoor buddies with no natural predators around. He's good 👍🙂
First off, thank you so much for already having a rescue inside your home (before Bart came into your life) and for fostering animals as well.., that is wonderful and from cat lovers everywhere I say "Thank You". Opening your hearts to Bart just further tells me what truly awesome folks y'all are and I am so grateful that you finally decided you couldn't live without him and formally adopted him by getting him vetted and bringing him inside. You saved him and there is no greater calling in the world than saving another living soul's life. Heroic.

This is how I ended up with 8 cats, at one time. Three passed away from age-related issues so now I have 5.
Fortunately he now has a loving and dignified home 😄🐈💖👍

I have a now formerly feral cat. It took three years until I could finally touch him. Everything was a very long process with him, but it has been 9 years now and completely worth every minute!

When an Animal chooses you, don’t ignore it. You choose that animal back. This is a rare gift. Only fools ignore this at their own peril. Angels don’t always show up in human form.

Bart's markings are so cute and different. His little dab of ink on the side of his chin, and the two little dots which makes it look like his nose is looking at ya. Happy to see you two team up.
