That really got to me. She didn't say "this is his home" but "I'm his home". I feel like it's true you know. Like she went to visit the cat at the adopted home and the cat was still friendly and let her pet him. Then the cat was so sweet and shy but happy to be at her home. So she is the cats home. The cat was cold at night, and she built the home, and the cat probably felt warm and safe there, and now she is his home. With her, the cat feels safe and warm. That line just got me emotional.

Oh, you can hear in Anastasia's voice how much she adores this cat. My heart cracked a little when she said she hoped that he could keep the name she had been calling him by
One day a black cat turned up in my garden. I hadn’t seen him around before and none of the neighbours knew who he belonged to. He was wary at first but accepted the food I left for him. This was in the summer and as time moved on it got colder so I built him a house and would leave hot water bottles wrapped in blankets to keep him warm at night. One night the weather was atrocious and I couldn’t help but let him in my house much to the dismay of the two cats I already shared my home with. I took him to the vets, got him neutered and chipped and thirteen years later he’s fast asleep on my sofa as I write this. Alfie has been one of the best mates I’ve ever had and I love him to bits.
I had a cat but only for 1 week, so basically a neighbour who sold cats (rare ones ) had put up this cat for sale and I really liked it (british shorthair) and I got it on my birthday and my little cousin came over and hit him (he was already shy) but I think he realized he was a kid and never scratched him. So it was my cousins birthday (1 week later) and my mom was scared of cats so she said she would give the cat to them temporarily but she never gave it back 😭(my mom didn't want it) we also later found out my brother was allergic to that cat or any cat. I still visit it and it still remembered me.
@Carey Bridges thanks I might when I get my own house but I can't rn bec of covid and we moved into a new house + we will check when covid goes down if my bro is allergic to all cats ty tho
I was sitting out on my patio waiting for my husband to come home from work, when this black and white tuxedo cat came around the corner of my house and bee lined to me. " she "jumped up on my lap and was very lovable. Bob came home and I put her down and said good bye. My neighbors and us TSNR so it's not out of the ordinary to see cats in my yard, but this one was different. The next day I am out waiting for Bob to come home and this tuxedo cat comes around the corner again making another bee line for me. Jumps on my lap and just wants love and to give love. Bob comes home and unnormaly says "if the cat walks into the house as he holds the door open I can have her. OMG I couldn't believe my eyes or my luck. I put her down and she walked right in my house as if she always belonged here. We took her to the vet to have her checked out and poof! She became a he. He was between 4 and 6 years old and nurtured, so we mad him 5. He was named Sacha which I changed to Staschio. Like I said,he was a black and white tuxedo baby but, his hair underneath his beautiful black shiny hair was white. Super cool.He had to have been someone's beloved baby. You could tell he was well loved and cared for but for some reason couldn't keep him. So instead of taking him to a shelter where he may have been euthanized, they gave him a chance for a new home so he was dropped off at my neighbors house, who people know that they take care of feral cats as we do, but no one knows about us.He was overly lovable and quickly made me his. He took over me as well as the house which had 3 baby girls already. HE chose ME! We became one, Staschio was my velcro shadow, I went to the bathroom he went with me, I went to bed he came with me. If my hand was on the pillow by my face, he would nudge it to wake me up to move it so he could lay there. I woke up one morning with a face full of Stash belly, it was one of the best mornings I ever had. If I were in the bathroom and he wasn't, he would cry at the door or if the door wasn't shut all the way he would bust through it. I was told that when I left for work he would get on the table watch me leave and cry for me. If I were out on the patio he would stand on his hind legs and cry to me. Before I could go to sleep, we would have to play "lost baby handsome " I would be in bed, and he would be on the shadow box or on the bathroom sink and mournfully cry for me to find him. I had to get out of bed and go to him then he would zip by me and into the bedroom. Then it got to where Staschio would hear my necklace as I was getting out of bed to find him and he would peek around my door. He was truly something very special. I realized how special he was because when I was 19 I had a boy I named Chezarae and Staschio was just like him but more demanding of my attention. So although I didn't know how special Chez's love was, he was my first cat, what did I know, I figured that was normal for a cat. He would wait for me to come home from work, walk to the end of the driveway, wait for me to turn my car off and meet me at the car door. I would then pick Chez up carry him into the house and put him down after lovin him up. He then would be in my room waiting for me, that was always the first place I would go to. After Chez had passed and i had other babies did I realize how remarkable his love was, what a shame. I loved him dearly just figured all cats loved like he did. Boy was i in for a rude awakening! The ones that came after him were lovable but nothing like Chez was. So I knew exactly what I had with My Handsome Baby Boy Staschio. I cherished all the times he would lay on my chest as I watched tv, or he would lay on my lap or the back of my kitchen chair to have my morning coffee with me. If I were reading the paper or doing a puzzle he would demand my attention by laying on it. I would have to stay with my mom for a night here and there, when Staschio would see my overnight bag come out he would turn his back on me! He really had an attitude when He knew I would be gone overnight. I would get a head butt to my back if I was facing the wrong way, so I would have to roll over on my back so he could sleep on my chest. There were times I would wake up with my arm around him, I would do that in my sleep cause he wasn't on me when I fell out. THEN, came the devastating news, my beloved owner Staschio had cancer in his jaw. Treatable, yes, if I was willing to have half his jaw removed. Maybe he would eat on his own or maybe i would have to tube feed him. Either way it was not an operation I would choose. He would not be himself nor would he be happy and have quality of life. If the operation would have saved him hell yeah! We would have paid anything to keep him but to put him through all that pain wouldn't have been for him to live it would have been for me to keep him longer and I just couldn't do that to my precious boy. So 5 very short years later I had to make the decision to let him go. After the first injection he walked to me and layed in my arms for comfort, security and love, and true to his love for me gave me his love as I cried. I held him and we gave each other our final love. He took his last breath in my arms. This was this past January and I still cry over my loss of my extremely special boy. I am crying now as I write this. Staschio thankfully is free of all the pain, however I am still dealing with mine. I think I see and hear him from time to time in my house. How I still miss him and I still cry just as I am now writing one of the greatest love stories.

I have a black cat named Raven, she was a stray cat and she came to my porch everyday for food and she was very friendly. One day during winter there was an extreme snowstorm and she immediately ran to my house and tried to get inside, my mom opened the door and then she opened the screen door, and she came running in. It just showed how much she trusted us and how she knew she would survive if she came with us. She lives with us now and she’s such a sweet baby🥺
The exact same thing happened to me😭 same color cat and everything only difference is I named her Lexi. Maybe black cats are just naturally extra friendly

@@starseed8809 Exactly, when a cat shows up asking for help we gladly give it, whether it be bowls of food and water, vet treatment or a home we give them what they need and want. We presently have seventeen of all shapes sizes colours and needs, all are neutered if they want to come indoors, two young kittens didn't make it and one arthritic old warrior over-wintered indoors with us enjoying warmth, safety, comfort, good food and treats, and love with us before a peaceful and dignified death. He was grateful and purred while he rubbed around us, never having been loved before. He never did master the toilet tray, but I didn't care, not his fault he was too old for new tricks. His name was Alan and he had been the top cat in the neighbourhood, the other cats respected him right up to his dying day.

Awww man.........ain't it just the way with this channel, Kenny. Grown men blubbering like bairns and loving every second of it. Never known anything that can reduce someone to a complete wreck of a man and fill them with hope at the same time.
I think it was very nice of the property manager to allow her to adopt the cat like that. they've must've saw how important Tiger was to Anastasia and that changed their mind.
I think, in general, that property managers have a fear that if they say their tenants can have pets then they will end up with hoarding situations. Anastasia clearly must have been insisted that she loved a cat called Tiger and she just wanted to be with him.
I'm so glad she was able to adopt him ❤ it made me cry seeing her cry and knowing how much she loved him. He'll have the best home ever with her! She loved him enough to give him up so he could have a warm, loving family and was willing to pay all his medical expenses, that's love ❤❤❤
Congratulations, you made a 52 year old, grumpy man tear up. I am so happy you got to keep him. I could see he was upset and felt betrayed when in the trap. That hurt my cat whisper side. I am not trying to say you did anything wrong because you didn't. You actually did everything correctly. If you had tried to sneak him in and your landlord found out, months down the road, you would have jeopardized your own home and would have probably had to get rid of him. Which would have caused some real harm to him and you. I am so happy it worked out. Very nice to see good people out in the world still. Thank you for such a great, touching story.
The stray that I rescued looked like he was 14 years old before he was introduced to good, constant food and love. Now I'm pretty sure he's only a few years old. A big change from a little effort
This one made me cry. I know what it's like to become so attached to an animal, not be able to take it because of your living situation and then never see it again. This property manager deserves a friggin medal. One of the good ones for sure. Most of them would freak out and say no.
When a animal chooses you to be their human all you got to do is say "okay, we will figure this out together". This really made me cry 😢 such a beautiful story.
The stray cats I adopted saved my life. People don't realize the value they bring to you as a person. I'm a much better person and much happier these days having them around.
The owners of this property, and the people managing this property, trusted this tenant to act responsibly as a pet owner- living with a cat while renting does not mean a property will be destroyed! It’s a Win Win situation!
@@encycl07pedia- Property owners who allow pets have it written in the lease as to the type of pet(s) allowed, and how many. The lease requires an extra security deposit (non-refundable-usually equal to the cost of 1months rent), and an extra charge per month, for the rental property, is added, too. These two monetary things do not cover any discoveries, of broken, ruined items, on the final walk through (before the renter leaves the property). The renter is still responsible, monetarily, for those items, too.

It's so amazing how cats actually have facial expressions. At the beginning he looked anxious and worried about having his needs met....his eyes and facial musculature all conveyed this. At the end, all that tension disappeared from his face and eyes....amazing transformation.
@@notrice1608 Actually, that's not true.... consider birds, snakes, donkeys, fish, elephants, kangaroos, buffalo, etc. While these animals can show alarm by their reactions, their *facial* expressions aren't similar to those of humans like dogs and cats, whose facial expressions can convey finely tuned emotions similar to what we see in humans. I'm still amazed everytime I see a dog actually SMILE, or a cat show alarm or contentment...or AFFECTION in their faces! It's quite amazing to see this in dogs and cats...

I was SO happy when the girl was told by her landlord that she would be allowed to adopt the cat! My heart was breaking at the thought that she had to give him up after all she'd gone through to help him. Much happiness to Anastasia & Tiger!!😻
There are just some things cats don't like. My sweet boy used to love to be kissed on the head but did not want any kind of belly rub...that was met with scratches. He gave warning like most cats do, sadly most don't pay attention and keep doing what their cats are telling you not to do.
He was instinctively wary of being bitten. His response was not personal at all. My cat likes to bite my arm, and she bites hard. I am not sure if this is enthusiastic play or affection, but I have become very quick at getting my arm out of her way. She is both playful and very loving in other ways too. With cats, there is never a dull moment!
When I saw him so desperate in the cage I cried with Anastasia..! And after seeing the happy end I cried again of happiness. Happy that there are so many people at this world who cares. Love is allways the way 🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽
I know the video is a year old but I have to say what a wonderful person Anastasia is for caring so much about Tiger. Cats are intelligent sentient creatures, we MUST help them in times of need. I care in various ways for many cats according to their needs and choices and am very lucky to have the situation to be able to do that. I love them all so much and understand Anastasia completely.
I find cats like crazy in my area. I have four of my own now, but I take the new strays to the vet for the shots and fixing (if needed). If your ever in the Cleveland Ohio area I’ve got a cat for you ❤️

Mike, you are a real man, I, too love black cats mong others

When an animal chooses you as their person, it's such a special thing.❤️💕💕
I know and have experienced that in a couple of occasions. It is a lifelong bond 💞
Hello good day
Thank you Anastasia for caring
Man, thank god they're still people out there that care.
His angry expression is so adorable; he has a beautiful color/marking as well. So glad she got to keep him.
When I saw him so desperate in the cage I cried with Anastasia..!
And after seeing the happy end I cried again of happiness.
Happy that there are so many people at this world who cares.
Love is allways the way
🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽
Yes, when he was in the cage it was like, "I thought you were my friend."
It still remains as one of my favorite Dodo stories ever! 😊💕
I guess I need to watch more of these to prepare since I want a cat eventually
Same
Same ive been watching they videos everyday for the past 3 weeks
You'll just have to wait until one chooses you lol
I find cats like crazy in my area. I have four of my own now, but I take the new strays to the vet for the shots and fixing (if needed). If your ever in the Cleveland Ohio area I’ve got a cat for you ❤️
@@ltme4134 lol, don't we always ?
Well I kept it together until ‘now I’m his home’, then I lost it. So adorable. I’m so pleased you were able to keep him. Rescue cats are the best.
My white/blue eyed cat popped out in my garden and followed me to garage and I couldn’t resist. He passed away 2 years ago but gave me a lot of happiness!🥰 Wouldn’t change him for the world!!
My former stray cat, now known as the Lady Marmalade, adopted me in the same way and now she rules my life with an iron cast schedule of feedings and petting.
