Good video. One more thing that I would add as someone who suffers from occasional kidney stones is that kidney stone pain, at least with me, also has an added pressure like an intense feeling of needing to urinate that does not occur with normal back pain (which I also have sometimes). Kidney stone pain presents an uneasiness that will not allow you to be comfortable in any position.
Thank you for sharing this @jerryjohnson9531! I appreciate the input.🙌
Do you feel this pain in your groin? It says "toward your bladder" in the video; I have pain that has been consistent for over 6 months that goes around my iliac crest and down my groin, as well as my back. Sometimes high up on the right side. Thanks!
@@sherbidabbles yes it can. I suggest seeing your doctor since it has been 6 months already and based on the location of your pain.
@@restorepluspt Thank you for replying. I'll make an appt. I appreciate it.

My back has been killing me lately right where I Think my right kidney is but sounds like it's probably musculoskeletal so that makes me feel better.
Happy to help @part1801. Feel better🙏
So what's your recommended medical tabs for lower back pain
Hi @stanleykataha9266. If you mean medication, I recommend avoiding medications and use modalities like heat or ice and exercises and movements to treat low back pain. If it comes to the point you needs medications, I would refer you to your doctor to recommend what is best based on your medical condition and history.
Hello i hope you are reading this
Yesterday morning when i woke up i felt a little achy pain in my left lower back but after sometime it shifted to my right lower back and vanished and today i was at the gym hitting legs i was on my second set only 70kg i was repping and i could feel the pain coming back very severe i could not stand the pain i rushed back home its not paining on my lower spine but mostly on my left lower back and right
Its getting difficult for me to get out from the bed and moving around my bed also
I will be on my way to test my KFT
And i been working out for a very long time i am not new at the gym
And i had my GB removed 9 months ago
I'm sorry to hear this @angthikengti3199. It is a good idea to test your kidney functions. I won't be surprised if it comes back normal. Based on what you mentioned, it can be a strain to your lower back. But I may be missing some info. I hope you feel better.🙏
Good 👍
Thank you @CureKidney!🙏
Which specialist doctor to refer?
Good question @pawankhare4282. You can consult your primary care doctor or a Urologist or Nephrologist (specialists). I hope this helps.
thank
You're welcome @cuspdlumolaeh!
I have pain in my middle left back it’s sir upper than you are telling 😢do i have a kidney problem and it gets worse when I bend down and that area gets stretched 😢 please reply
I'm sorry to hear this @prabhjotgill9217. It is possible it is a midback muscle strain or rib issue.
Hello Doc. Am Faruq By Name.
My Question Is That I do have this pain seldomly at my lower back .How doni differentiate this sir..
I need your reply sir😢
Hi Faruq. I'm sorry to hear that you are having this pain. Aside from the frequency of the pain, you have to consider how the pain started, the location and quality of the pain as well as I mentioned in the video. I hope that helps.
I'm 25 age old I played rugby and my right kidney pain so how can I well
Thank you
I will need more information to be able to answer your question better @KolmanDavid-ht7sm. Did you have trauma directly to the area I mentioned in the video? Are you drinking enough water regularly? How did it start? How long has it been? These are just some of the questions that can help differentiate if it is either one of the two or maybe neither. If you went through the video and still is not sure, I would suggest seeing your doctor to be on the safe side.🙏
4 min of waste of time
it could be this or that or go see doc or who knows
Can you have kidney pain with stage 3 hurt it hurt's on the Right side
It depends on the cause @timothytornado2650. Some can cause pain others do not.
nicee
Thank you @arousevroll!
Please doctor can kidney cyst cause this of symptoms of the lower back pain on one side
Hey @lyndadonikeagwuana-tc7hp. Yes that can happen.
I've had kidney stones that I felt on the left side of my lower back, and it felt like someone rabbit punched me. Now, my left flank started aching yesterday, and has not stopped. It aches just at the bottom of my ribs, and it's this sharp/dull ache that does not go away. It's hard to tell if there is a muscle inside that I strained, but it feels different than muscle related. What could this be??
Also, I'm exhausted all the time, and I urinate quite frequently, but no painful urination. I just don't want to overreact is all.
Good question @mydejavooo1. I suggest going to the doctor get a consult. From the symptoms you mentioned, it does not sound like a muscle or back strain. Usually back strain does not go up to the rib cage area. Kidney issues can refer pains like that. And the frequency of your urination also points to that even without pain. I hope you feel better.🙏
@@restorepluspt Well, here we are, a week after I posted those symptoms....and it has not gone away. In fact, it now keeps me up at night. It is 100% in my left kidney, sadly. I was in hopes it would just go away on it's own, but it has not. The only thing that provided any relief is a heating pad on low/medium heat. I haven't had any fever, so that's good. But I will be doctor bound tomorrow. Thank you for your insight. 👍 😃
@@MyDustyPicklesany up date I have same issue 😢
@@mikeanthony9092 Not as of yet, my friend. I'm trying to push this out as much as I can (within reason). I'm sorry you're experiencing the same deal, because kidney stones suck. No 2 ways about it. A heating pad will help with the pain, and make sure you're drinking lots of water. The first stone I had they had to go in and break it up. Worst 2 weeks of recovery in my life. I'd love to tell you that it doesn't hurt....but I don't want to lie to you. I've talked to so many women that have had kids and kidney stones, and they would rather have more kids than stones. Apparently they CAN pass on their own, which can take upwards of 30+ days. It's just unpleasant. If it gets bad, or if you develop a fever, go to the ER. I did the first time, and they scheduled surgery for the next morning. So be mindful, and take care of yourself. I will update you on my end, and I'd love to hear what happens on yours. Take care! 🙏
@@MyDustyPickles thank u 🙏🏽
Yes i have lower back pain in the right based on the symptoms you have mentioned!
Lower back pain numbness in toes, chill blains asbwell n.
Hi @INDYEAH. Low back pain along with numbness on the toes usually is from a back issue.
Pls doctor,me I used to pea at random and my urine it's always brownish and I also used to have pain frm my penis is dat one also d effect of kidney stone
I'm sorry to hear this @alabasulaimon5222. It can be and there are other conditions that can present with those symptoms. I suggest going to your doctor or specialist for further evaluation and management. I wish you the best.🙏
during pregnancy is it normal to have lower back pain
Good question @rachellemusnit910. I would not say it is normal because normal for me is you should not have pain. I would say it is common and it can be expected because of the hormones and other changes in the body.
useful video
Happy to help.♥

Thank you @NischalSapkotavlogs!
I'm not sure that you've ever had a kidney stone. I've passed over 80 and have had seven lithotomies for impacted stones, I'll tell you the difference:
Back pain is positional. Generally there will be a position that does not hurt or does not hurt much, another that you can feel the pain ramping up, and a position that is unbearable. 600-800mg of ibuprofen may help with the pain. That is preferable to having an impacted stone.
Stones are not positional. When the ureter discovers a stone jammed in place and begins to go into spasms in an attempt to dislodge it, the pain is incessant and nothing will stop it until the ureter gets tired or the stone moves a bit. OTC pain relievers will do nothing, only narcotics will, outside of a hospital. The pain from such a stone is much, much worse than back pain. It's like having the unbearable back pain but for hours at a time.
What if im experiencing both? 😭
I'm sorry to hear this @hyannamusic. Sometimes it does happen that the symptoms you feel are not very specific. In this situation, I suggest ruling out the more serious problem which in this case is the kidney issue. I suggest checking with your doctor for further evaluation and testing to rule that out. I wish you the best.🙏
@@restorepluspt thank you so much. If its okay to ask doc, may I ask if who’s the best specialist to go to in this case?
@@hyannamusic the specialist for the kidney is called Nephrologist. For the back, the specialist can be Orthopedist or Neurologist. I hope this helps.
