Nice use of leftover fabric, precuts, or focus fabric. This would make a great kid's quilt and easy enough for community service. Thank you. I always enjoy watching you teach; you are so organized and explain things well. From Arlington, Texas

This is a perfect quilt for someone wanting a different "look" to what they have been doing. I can take some of my larger scraps to make some of the blocks. Thank you Cindi for this idea.

Cindi, FYI I you use permanent markers in plastic, the marks come off if you wipe it with an alcohol wipe. Test plastic before. We use plastic bins for storage and when lazy I use permanent markers to identify what’s inside. Found out alcohol swabs work every time

There is no need to turn the squares to cut the other 2.5" strip. You can cut them side by side and the piece that is left over is the same size. The only thing that is different is the pinked edge in on different pieces.

Even with a brand new blade in my rotary cutter, I still have the arts of fabric that aren’t cut all the way through. Help?
What am I doing wrong? The brands that I have tried are Olfa, and Fiskars.

Just kidding. They are cut at the factory and we have them on our website as a separate category or with the line they come with. Go to fabricpatch.net and under the shop online tab click on pre-cuts.
