Hello.. 😁 Yeah.... you guys made your trip Awsome!!!🤗Good job..on your video.. nice picture.. of the beautiful ...water.. how was the water not to cold ??? I am so glad you guys found some chips and Guacamole yum 👍and a place to stay.. and the food your husband made look pretty.. yum👍 You guys are so fun.. to watch thank you for sharing.. looking forward to the next video 👍 Alfred and Diane 😊
Thanks for sharing! Glad you took the plunge and went south of the border. It definitely can be intimidating the first time, but as you saw - easy-peasy! Also thanks for sharing your Omnia experience. I just received mine and I think Calzone will be my first attempt in it. Enjoying your content! Happy Travels from another Arizonian!
Yes! So easy! You’ll have to let me know how your calzone turns out. I think we should have doubled to dough so that it went all the way around. Love our fellow Arizonians!
Great video guys! Once you make it to the beach most of your stress melts away. We love going down there and you can always find spots. Many people "snowbird" down there or stay full time. We sold our fifth wheel and are building out a Sprinter van in Tucson. Thanks.
So enjoyed your video I have added this place to my list for next year. Also been reluctant to buy the Omnia Oven but you made it look so simple so maybe I’ll reconsider.
We loved this place! We will be back! And yes the Omnia Oven ended up being so worth it. Stay tuned because in the next video we make pumpkin spice muffins and they turn out amazing!
Congratulations for your interesting video, I really like it! I'm a spanish who lives in Puebla for several years, and I hope you really enjoyed your holidays in this beautiful country! I would like to visit the northern part of Mexico so soon with my family! Regards!
Hey, good video! Heading to Rocky Point next month and planning to stay a few weeks at Playa Bonita RV park. It will be our first time over the border. In a PW OnTour.
@@Vancaskeys Thanks Vancaskeys very kind f you to say so. Enjoy your van travels by the way , maybe well worth you checking out Tread the globe, fantastic van travel channel.
I have a Neso tent like yours. I bought the extra 2 poles. It’s pretty windy on the gulf coast and 4 poles don’t alway work with more than 12 mph winds. But, a third pole in the center and you’re good to go! No arm pole needed😉
This was so interesting to watch! We just booked a trip to Rocky Point .. can't wait to go, but also so nervous driving in Mexico. What month did you visit Rocky Point?!
Fun!! We want to go back! No need to be nervous at all. Just stop at all the stop signs and obey the speed limit (I know this is a given LOL) and you should be fine. It's so worth the drive. We went in November.
Wonderful! So nice that you took the trip across. I plan on making the trip from Florida in my Tellaro … solo dun dun dun lol! I’ve been all over Mx many times but never driven. It would be helpful to know where you ended up getting your insurance from? I’m also planning and a trip to Az first!
Oh fun!! We totally want to take our van to Florida LOL. I love that you are a solo van girl! Love it! As for insurance we just googled it haha. Went to the Mexico government website and answered a few questions, paid around $40 and had insurance. Pretty easy. As you get close to the border you'll see lot's of gas stations selling Mexico insurance too. We have friends that do it that way.
Thanks! We got Baja Bound Insurance. Super easy and affordable. Just bought it online and brought the paperwork with us. Have fun on your trip! It was one of our favorites!
be careful at sonoyta, speed trap,25mph in town, corrupt cops, don't pay them go to police station, got a 100 fine,on highway everyone drive 75mph and up with no problem
My family, 3 adult sons and their families all get together and rent a house on the beach each year. Rocky Point is quaint and the beaches are beautiful. Side note; u guys live in AZ. How do you not know how to pronounce Puerto Penasco???...just giving you a hard time fellow Zonies. Also, my cousins have RVs at that resort.
LOL! We had the hardest time pronouncing it 🙈😂 We have lived in Arizona 6 years and didn’t even really know about Rocky point. Cannot wait to go back! We can see why people have their RVs just parked at the RV spots.
Pretty funny watching you worry about speed limits and stop signs and you’re driving Mexico with no FMM - tourist card. You’re supposed to stop at the immigration office and get one each!
Thanks for the video tour. One note about how to pronounce Puerto Peñasco: you got the first word reasonably close, however, the second word is pronounced peh-NYAWS-ko -more or less, where the “ny” part is meant to imitate the “ñ” sound in “piñata” or “jalapeño”, assuming you’re familiar with those. Your suggested pronunciation of “Penesco” is pretty amusing, as it sounds like a Spanish equivalent to “penis-like.”
I really don't see much of a reason to really ever go to Mexico. I've seen many van lifers use that stove top oven, and the results are always the same, they are always surprised of how well it works. That calzone would have been really good with some sauteed mushrooms and some ham, peppers and onions the works.
This was so entertaining! I can't wait to watch Part 2!!!
Thanks Jen!!! ❤️
Chef Bob. Great job guys!
Thank you!
Great video guys love it can't wait for part two love puerto peñasco we are from California.
Awesome! Thank you!
Well done guys. For a new channel your quality is fantastic!!
Thanks! We appreciate your kind words!

Great content, enjoyed the content and your interaction. Not to sure why crossing the border is stressful. Subbed for future content.

As a Mexican I appreciate and thank you for pronouncing Guacamole correctly and not calling it guac.
Hot tip for ya per our az. Summers. Spots are going off for San Diego beachside camping now for the month of July. Timmy C Arizona
Oh wow! Thanks for this! We had no idea!
I bough a house in Sonoyta, very nice to stay before heading to P.P. Nice video guys, I miss that little town.

Nice video 😉
It’s so nice and warm there. Did you have to do anything special because of COVID-19?
It was so nice and warm 😃 they didn’t have any covid rules.
I just got caught by one of those hidden stop signs. 33 dollars. 😂
No way!!! 🤣
Puerto Peñasco is nearest beach from Arizona?
Yes!
Just bumped into to channel. Love your channel, but sorry you're a Suns fan, GO Warriors LOL
What does the RV park cost per month?
If I remember correctly it was around $600 a month.
Q? the place you pay 25 bucks at night, is called Playa Bonita?? do you need reservation?
No reservation needed. They did tell us holidays get booked up though.

We never had to show our passports until we drove back to the United States. Have fun on your trip! We love Rocky Point!
