Hey you guys! So glad you guys are making the sacrifice, covering this show. Are you guys going to do the 7th episode? The girls finally seem to be awakening from thier comas, it seems. Can't wait to see what you guys have to say. XOXO 🎉
I loved how Carrie had to qualify that Aidan is rich now, after selling his furniture business. The only way Aidan would be considered a worthwhile dating partner at this point.
Her 💰hunger was apparent with Big as soon as she found out from Samantha that he was a tycoon. That’s why she relentlessly chased him. Her character is the worse out of all them. Even with Big gone, she acts like she’s poor. She’s a see you next Tuesday
important to note that in season 1 they spent a lot of time trying to convince us that the reason why Miranda and Steve weren't having sex anymore was because Steve was so old and decrepit that he just didn't even remember sex was a thing he was supposed to be doing. now, with the Magnum revelation, it's become apparent that it was really Miranda who no longer wanted to have sex with her husband. which is sort of a pattern she always ends up in with Steve. She wants him, she loves him, she gets him, she stops wanting to have sex with him, she gets annoyed by him. Rinse and repeat for 20 years.
but the one scene where they are in the kitchen and he is fingering her he was acting all stupid like he didn't know what to do, then washing his hands and being all clumsy like he hadn't done that ever, and after all the years of being married, one would think he would know what his wife liked....then Miranda was rolling her eyes can't say I blamed her there, and she is like, you know what? lets forget this.....I found Steve to be a complete idiot there. Then, when they were sitting on the couch eating ice cream, and she was fuming, and he says, like this is what married people do, and what else are you expecting, something along those lines. He wasn't a 100 percent wrong, but a little love making besides the ice cream would have of made the ice cream nights somewhat better. I also can't get past Steve's new voice, I find it agonizing to listen to It is like the voice of a 98 year old an coming out of his mouth. Ugh, the hearing loss thing is so annoying. The Miranda finding a condom near the bed and she gets all upset, well, WTF did she think he was gonna do, not have sex for the rest of his life, or did she think he was gonna just wait indefinetely for her to come back. She had a lot of nerve, and he needed to clean up a little better.

Black women don’t need no mens girl in society apparently. That’s why. It’s insulting the way they portray LTW- like we don’t know how to be in a good marriage

And charlotte is everything that’s wrong with parents today. Stop being your kids friends and her daughter is wayyy too young for all of this sex stuff.
I never thought that Charlotte, and especially Harry, would be that kind of parent. Ok Charlotte maybe because she cares about being "in", but Harry was very loving yet no-nonsense.
I agree 100% - except I can’t really tell if lily is too young for sex. If the character is really 19 then lily is way too old to be acting the way she is. She should be in college and maybe having a job. Even if they are saying she is 17, the character acts too young. Selling clothes to buy a piano, writing emo songs that are about as deep as a raindrop, unable to hide jealousy of the attention Rock is getting, etc. The show codes her behavior and appearance like she is in middle school most of the time so it’s hard to gauge. I have a daughter in early 20s so have a fairly recent comparison point.
Brace yourselves: The average age for teenage sexual exploration is 16. However, no teenager I have ever met would ever tell their parents about their intentions.
@@purpurina5663 I always thought Charlotte was going to be a strict Mother, esp after dealing with Trey’s BS.. she used to stick up for herself when push came to shove.
I'm happy to be seeing Aiden but my god, that boy needs better self esteem cause big literally has to be dead for him to be a front runner in Carrie's eyes. I also don't think the writers like us enough for this to be the real end of Che and Miranda. fingers crossed though 🤞
I know, right? I wouldn't want to be someone's second choice. Hopefully Aiden realizes that in the end and does a Samantha: " I love me, more" ...and leaves her.
I really wish the writers could get it through their heads that we're not interested in these women's awful kids or their sex lives. I get having kids is part of life for a lot of people, but we've seen them now. We know being a parent is hard. Send them to boarding school and call it a day, lol.

I keep finding myself up in the middle of the night, watching these podcasts and talking to you out loud. 😅 1. Thank god Steve finally stood up for himself. I was cheering during that scene! 2. Lily can barely handle tampons and now she’s announcing she’s going to have sex?? What planet are we on???
I always prided myself on hating Carrie the most out of everyone on this podcast; however, after much needed soul searching I feel it might be Miranda now.
It’s funny because all throughout SATC I was always a pretty solid Miranda fan. However, while listening to the boys recap I realized that I now actually hate the character that Miranda has become this season & last.
Hmmmm. I go back and forth with that. Carrie has an established track record ( since SATC) of being the one you love to hate. Miranda became unwatchable during this shitshow. Carrie has ALWAYS been selfish and judgemental; it’s just we were dazzled by her fashions and shoes.
I thought, in the Writers’ Room snore fest, they talked about how they only ever wrote about things that had happened to them? So they’ve had kids tell them they’re going to lose their v, then spent hours walking through snow to find them condoms?? Nope. This whole thing needs a giant bonfire!
I love how Carrie says she hasn’t spoken to Aidan in years and fails to mention she kissed him on her vacation to AbuDabi while married to the supposedly love of her life.
Yup, the writers absolutely mentioned that in their horrendous obnoxious HBO podcast, and they said it with pride, on the record. The comments on that HBO YT podcast are definitely being deleted btw.
The storyline with Lily had me soooo uncomfortable. Especially when Charlotte inches towards her and tells her to focus on her pleasure too. Like, ugh. It's one thing to be open and understanding, but that was TOO MUCH. Also - Carrie saying she doesn't need condoms anymore. I would think that's a good idea at any age to avoid STDs but she acted like she's impervious to them now or something. Bad mesage to be putting out there, if you ask me.
Lisa literally walked like 30 city blocks in heels, no face covering from the blizzard and she looked that pristine upon arrival? She'd be a hot mess in the real world.
@@TC-tj6pd I was like, where’s the wet, red face and snotty nose?!? Why does she not have an ounce of snow on her clothes or hat? Least realistic 30 block walk in the snow.
Game of Crones is a much better name for this series because nothing happens "just like that" in this series. Everything is dragged-out, dropped storylines, overly clued into trending culture, MESS.
i noticed that "and just like that" did the math completely wrong. In the first season they said that harry's mom died 10 years ago but in the original series she was already dead before Harry met Charlotte so she died about 20 years ago or more. Lily has to be around 19-20 years old but then she was 15 and Brady should 21 years old. Covid lasted 2 whole years. At least here in Europe. Lily is quite annoying to me because she behaves like a very spoiled teen. I can't imagine that someones mom would go out to buy condoms in the middle of a snow storm because they don't want to go to the drugstore around the corner? it's ridiculous and absolutely not funny. Before she sold designer cloths online without her moms approval just not to work for an e-piano? And I hate how Miranda's character is developing. She's treating Steve so badly and starts crying because he turns the tables? She never sees his position, the work in their house he has done and so on but freaks out as he starts seeing somebody else. She left the marriage so why is she upset of him for shearing the bed with somebody else. She was such an inspiration in Sex and the City and now she is just an a.... My dad is renovating my grandparents home and that's hard work.
The timeline is all over the place and LTW’s father was dead last year, but now he’s not? 🫣 I remember very clearly how delighted Charlotte was to find out TWENTY years ago that Harry’s parents were dead.. no shitty in-laws to deal with.
I agree! Miranda has always been ungrateful and annoying to me. I remember even when she got pregnant with Brady she was never in love with Steve and he continued to stay because loved her. Now she leaves him for a woman and just expects him to move out and divorce her without a fight. She's delusional and now the girlfriend dumped her like she dumped Steve.
@@b8bydoll252 yes. the only time she was in love with Steve was when he was in a relationship with Debbie. She only wants somebody when this person is emotional unavailable. It's always the same. Steve, Che and the guy from the very beginning. Was his name Scooter or something like that?
how she treated the doctor who she dated that lived in her building... I think they made Steve do that so people would feel sorry for Miranda. She should move, she has no emotional ties to the home.
I understand what aging does to people. It’s been a long time since the SATC show, so I get that the actors are older now and relatively less exuberant on screen. However, I was just rewatching the fight in Carrie’s bathroom with Aiden. Her energy was so high in those days while she was yelling about, _”Please, just shut up! I'm so sick of hearing you talking all the time! Don't you ever just shut up? I'm taking a walk! You can stay here with your boxes of shit and your shoe eating dog, and you can knock yourself out putting on the Rogaine and the Speed stick!!”_ These days, Carrie has such low and tired energy it’s hard to watch…what happened to her? 😢
Oh yeah. I guess back then she was pushing pushing pushing to either get the man to behave a certain way or move on to another. No she has money and had the man, and she also has a widow badge that she has to honor. Bleah
Oh Thank You for retelling that rant of Carrie’s! One of my favorite scenes because Aidan bullied her to toss out clothes to make room for his dumb crap. Gaslighting anyone? That made me hate Aidan.
@@valleygirl2530 relationships require SOME compromise, and she never wanted to compromise..ever. Carrie is selfish and Big never would’ve married her IRL.. she was only ever a booty call to him.
You're absolutely right! This show lacks a lot of high energy and sponatiny. It's like watching a reboot of The Golden Girls in current time. The 90's was a great time to live in as well as watch the original days of SATC because they don't have it anymore unfortunately!
However it is refreshing to see Carrie not be so all over the place in her dating life. She could never commit to good men like Aidan but steady allowed herself to chase after trash men who didn't care about her like Big.
I have some possible explanations of why this makes us so mad: 1. Everybody in the production team spend such an EMBARRASSING small amount of time and effort creating this cash grab = Almost EVERY TIME something is completely OFF and is cringe it’s just a pure coincidence of lazy writing and no thought or meaning AT ALL behind it. So we analyse and analyse things that actually have no meaning at all!!! - as they’ve mentioned several times, all the things and situations in the show are things the writers have experienced in their own life. = That means with that in mind and the lazy writing WE GET SO IRRITATED BECAUSE what happens and how the actors behave is a mirror of the writers themselves!!! - they are rich people who are extremely self absorbed and who are totally ignorant and out of touch with what happens in real life
I have analyzed this dumpster fire endlessly and have come to the exact same conclusion. Yes. A.)They just don't care anymore, B.) it's a cash grab, and C.) they just rely on their own boring lives for storylines because A and B.
Did one of them get mugged and then find their purse later? Did their child announce losing virginity, and went out in snow storm for rubbers? I can't imagine people actually going through these things
I hope before the season is over we get an episode where Seema, Nya and Lisa are the main characters with Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as the support just so we can get some solid development before we go to the status quo. Also, Michael Patrick King is the worst thing to ever happen to SATC.
Why would Lily call her mom to bring her condoms when she could have just instacarted, postmated or doordash them? If I was Charlotte I would have hung up on her.
Is ridiculous! I would’ve told her her to get her a## back home and that’s it! Like yes is good to have the communication but what about the rest of the advice!?? How much responsibility it takes once you’re having sex, the check ups etc a and having protection!! So she’s mature enough to talk about it but not mature enough to talk with her boyfriend and get crap ready!? Then get your butt back home! Is like these parents are not allowed to parent anymore!?? 🤦🏻♀️
Ya’ll are the only reason I still watch this stupid show. But that puffer jacket gown Carrie was wearing in the terrible cgi blizzard was a Moncler Genius x Pierpaolo Piccioli collab from 2020-ish that I kind of loved because the entire collection was very “What if Marie Antoinette was forced to wear a puffer jacket?” And that’s a very important question I never knew I needed answering.
Cynthia Nixon and her character are just awful. Ive been watching the original series as i watch this. I've concluded that Samantha wouldnt have been friends with ANY of those three. And Miranda just sucks. Always has.
Thank you.... Miranda was N E V E R happy with anything, at anytime. She wasn't happy with Skipper... She wasn't happy with Carrie getting married... She wasn't happy with Steve .... She wasn't happy with getting pregnant ... the list goes on and on. I never "liked" the character, but I accepted her as part of the SATC universe.... But I am so disappointed, and turned off, by where Cynthia Nixon and MPK are taking the character now.
The problem is they make getting old look bad when they should be celebrating all the good things about getting older. They are living in NY for fuck sake. CARRIE SHOULD BE A ROCK STAR 💥💖
I think the reason we hate the kids so much is that they aren't real people, they're semi props. They have no personality or storylines for themselves except to prop for their parents' storylines and make us hate them. Lily is just there to make us feel bad for Charlotte and show us how "hip" and "cool" type of mom she is. Instead of showing us a story of Lily doing typical teen stuff that Charlotte is not wanting because her baby is getting older idk, something relateable. At least Brady in this season is acting more human and calling out his parents for lying to him. Also I was so HAPPY when Steve finally lost his shit and demolished her. Like it was the first time Steve acted like Steve and being human. Mirand has been whining about everybody making her feel bad because she was the one who cheated and broke her marriage and family.
Miranda dumps her husband, follows her lover across the country and she is made at Steve for having sex? Did she want him to pine for her, for eternity?
Grace & Frankie founded a company called “Vybrant.” Their best seller was the “Ménage a moi” which was referred to as “the ménage.” My favorite episode was when they took a gift basket to the lady who had “diddled herself to death,” and was found with the toy “still buzzing.”
ugh, I find steves voice so painful to listen to, tome, it sounds like it should be comng out of a 98 year old man, I really cant stand listening to him talk. Someone had stated he really does have a problem??? I thought it was for the show since they state about a percentage of hearing loss.
They appear to have reduced the kids’ ages by a few years. Brady should be in his 20s and Lily should be about 19, but Brady was in high school in season 1 and Lily was 15 (I think) and let’s not forget only just learned how to use a tampon 🤦♀️. And since when did Charlotte want to stay in touch with Trey. The last time she saw him she was diving behind a wall at the art museum to avoid running in to him.
I love, love, Love your Steve impersonations! You two make me want to have dinner and drinks with you both... no cell on the table! Just lots of wine ❤
I couldn’t even get through the episode. I’d rather just hear you two talk about it and give me the synopsis because it’s much more entertaining that way lol
Oh my gosh, I love your guys recap. I don’t watch it, and hearing that Steve finally stood up to Miranda 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 The way she acts needs a good kick in the ass.
The segue into that reference to Aidan was so clumsy and amateurish, it should have been Charlotte saying like oh did you hear that Aidan sold his furniture company to (insert some fancy rich guy who Charlotte knows)? And then they say so whose Aidan? Carrie just randomly dropping that name in when it had nothing to do with anything just jarred on me, felt like fanfiction
A better plotline for lily would she come up with a secret elaborate escape plan to get nookie .bf gets cold feet lily is disappointed.she Ends up bonding with Charlotte over when she was disappointed with trey.
Incredibly absurd that lady would not accept a ride from her husband in a literal blizzard. What was she trying to prove? Seriously, he had heated seats. They tried to make it a moment but it was just plain stupid. And in the real world, that event would have been straight up canceled due to weather. Nobody is trying to die here to hear you speak about your movie.
Still bothered by how unrealistic it is for Charlotte's two kids to SHARE a bedroom in a multi million dollar apartment. Ok, it serves the story so that they can be signposting the 'difference' between the one half of the bedroom being pink and girly and the other all gaming and masculine posters. So yesterday....!
Secretly hoping if we see Che again, it's because they get a second shot at a sitcom pilot a la Laverne and Shirley based on their relationship with Miranda (played by Kathy Griffin). Tony Danza can be Italian Steve, who runs a pizza shop instead of a bar. Theme song would obviously be Wilson Phillips' "Hold On", or Elton John and Britney singing "Hold Me Closer Tony Danza"!
The best part of Sex and the City was that the sex was always ridiculous, clumsy, and fraught. There were rare moments when it was actually sexy. It was relatable. This is not.
I just loved the cameo part - “her lover’s back in the background!” Also, her face was too close to the phone. Who is paying for that quality of cameo?!
Gotta love the reference to that hilarious Golden Girls episode! Also, I nearly choked laughing so hard about Miranda losing it & strangling Che after she dumps her. OMG 😆 😂😅

The scene with Steve and Miranda fighting is really a spot on description of the overall very bad climate between men and women in contemporary American culture. Also on a more symbolic level. Cause it talks about how manual labor (Steve having built most of the house) is basically at war with cooperate greed which at this point has nothing left but disregard and contempt for anything that is based in physics and the analogue world (This attitude is embodied by Miranda throughout the whole show). Therefore it is a symbolic representation of your ongoing culture wars. no wonder it made you guys tear up.

LOL These reviews are so entertaining that I don't even watch the show. I tuned in to see Billy Dee Williams because he's iconic. And I saw half the episode where Herbert flipped out because he couldn't catch a cab. OK, black men don't behave that way. There are too many CCTVs on the streets of NYC. And black men are not a protected class when it comes to quality-of-life charges. (We're like 80% of all cases.) I know you guys like Herbert, but he irks me, the way he allows Lisa to push him around. WTF? These people are so entitled that I felt nothing, which is odd because I thought The Crown was outstanding. And those fuckers are filthy rich! 💁🏾♂
Yea Miranda did look better. Done with the kids on here. Che is even more annoying. Good for Steve but he shouldn’t have stopped her and for her to be upset cause he’s getting laid !? Really!! I wonder if the Rachel Dratch character is a reference to when Carrie flew out to Los Angeles with Miranda & Samantha to write a screenplay for Sex and the City, and she took that meeting with Matthew McConaughey. She was so freaked out by his interpretation of Big, she skipped the rest of her meetings lmao.
You guys are the best! I would have loved to see the kid going through the window too! And in the newest episode we see Aidan's annoying 14-year-old son. Too much with the children. Not fun. Not funny.

If they wanted to explore the trans experience, it would have been way better for Miranda to leave Steve because she's come to terms with the fact that she's actually a they or a him. Or maybe Carrie reconnects with Aiden, and it turns to he's living as a woman. At least then we'd actually CARE about the person who's trans. I hope Che and Miranda's breakup wasn't supposed to elicit any emotions from viewers others than, "Yay! Miranda got dumped!"
I agree. The ONLY reason the audience is interested in Miranda because we were waiting for Che’ to dump her. Now Che’ can go somewhere and saddown - several seats!

ALSO, of course, Steve was due his 80 seconds of dialogue. These writers, my god.....I 😑
@@vintageincolor - whatever. My point is, if they wanted to explore gender issues on any stop along the way on the spectrum, they could have done it any number of ways. While I hate everything about Charlotte and her family, having one of her kids be non-binary is a way more interesting thing they could have explored, because we already know and are invested in Charlotte, but Rock's gender issues seem to be a non-issue and their identity is one that everyone seems to have adjusted to without conflict after ten minutes. yeah, THAT'S realistic.
Have you all noticed how slowly everybody speaks, and their dialogue is so slow and drawn out, and in the original series it was quick dialogue and quick humor?
Years ago I put a comment on the SATC page where they asked for future storyline’s…mine was Big died of a heart attack (based on Candy stripe episode), Carrie ends up with aiden after he’s divorced and Carrie ends up becoming a step mother to Tater (his baby she met in an episode he carries in a baby sling). This fulfils the desire to be a mother she has to give up by being with the Russian. She has to be with Aiden - he is everything 💕 Looks like I’m 3 for 3!!

Exactly. And they are miserable spoiled brats.
Thank you.
For real!!! The whole “kids sex life” storylines are DISGUSTING!!! So freakin weird
@melissamcgrath32678 it's gross really.
IKR RIGHt Like All Weatley folks do with their children ship them off and become self adsorb like most rich privileged folks are. Besides isn't that what Teens and Children do when shipped away but these folks have sheltered the hell out of them And they're Ages make no sense not Mathing I'd at least appreciate it would for sure make for a program than this 2 season's of snooze feast they have thrown at. Us day one die-hard viewers. FYI this Bull Shit even makes those two Crapy Movies look Spectacular. Just Saying. 🍸
I keep finding myself up in the middle of the night, watching these podcasts and talking to you out loud. 😅
1. Thank god Steve finally stood up for himself. I was cheering during that scene!
2. Lily can barely handle tampons and now she’s announcing she’s going to have sex?? What planet are we on???
I always prided myself on hating Carrie the most out of everyone on this podcast; however, after much needed soul searching I feel it might be Miranda now.
charlotte and samantha were always my favorites
It’s funny because all throughout SATC I was always a pretty solid Miranda fan. However, while listening to the boys recap I realized that I now actually hate the character that Miranda has become this season & last.
Hmmmm. I go back and forth with that. Carrie has an established track record ( since SATC) of being the one you love to hate. Miranda became unwatchable during this shitshow. Carrie has ALWAYS been selfish and judgemental; it’s just we were dazzled by her fashions and shoes.
@@Dyane629 Miranda is dead.
@@emhu2594 Apparently🤭
As a Canadian, it was strange to see the characters go through a snowstorm while their hair and make up is perfectly in tact. 🙄
“Game of Crones.”😂
Ya😂😅
Game of Crones is a much better name for this series because nothing happens "just like that" in this series. Everything is dragged-out, dropped storylines, overly clued into trending culture, MESS.
I DON'T care how old you are, you DO NOT make an announcement like to your parents. PERIOD! This show is crazy SMFH
i noticed that "and just like that" did the math completely wrong.
I remember very clearly how delighted Charlotte was to find out TWENTY years ago that Harry’s parents were dead.. no shitty in-laws to deal with.
@@divegirl9093 Skipper! Yes, she jerked that nice guy around so much too! He was kind of a dope about it though.
how she treated the doctor who she dated that lived in her building... I think they made Steve do that so people would feel sorry for Miranda. She should move, she has no emotional ties to the home.
So glad I can watch this show through someone else now lol
👏🏽♥️
YES!!!! Justice for Steve!!!! Love it!
He MADE THAT DAMN HOUSE AND HE AINT GOING NOPLACE!!!! DAMMIT
“You know what your Dad really likes?”
You boys are just NASSSTY!!🤣🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭😭
I understand what aging does to people. It’s been a long time since the SATC show, so I get that the actors are older now and relatively less exuberant on screen. However, I was just rewatching the fight in Carrie’s bathroom with Aiden. Her energy was so high in those days while she was yelling about, _”Please, just shut up! I'm so sick of hearing you talking all the time! Don't you ever just shut up? I'm taking a walk! You can stay here with your boxes of shit and your shoe eating dog, and you can knock yourself out putting on the Rogaine and the Speed stick!!”_
These days, Carrie has such low and tired energy it’s hard to watch…what happened to her? 😢
No more Che! If we get Che single storyline I will hurl.
😂😂😂”What ever happened to fun?!!”
I have some possible explanations of why this makes us so mad:
Guys dont be mean
Just let miranda run out the door n huge piece of ice hit her.
Steve started to break her now let the house finish her
I liked the image of Miranda waking up in a padded room
I hope before the season is over we get an episode where Seema, Nya and Lisa are the main characters with Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as the support just so we can get some solid development before we go to the status quo. Also, Michael Patrick King is the worst thing to ever happen to SATC.
Amen! MPK is insufferable
@@lisamorrison214 And elfin!
I’m glad Steve said what he said and did what he did. Miranda deserved it and he shouldn’t have apologized. Those were all factual and valid feelings.
When Nya asked who Aiden was, I was thinking 'Girl, you don't even wanna know🙄.'😂
Why would Lily call her mom to bring her condoms when she could have just instacarted, postmated or doordash them? If I was Charlotte I would have hung up on her.
Is ridiculous! I would’ve told her her to get her a## back home and that’s it! Like yes is good to have the communication but what about the rest of the advice!?? How much responsibility it takes once you’re having sex, the check ups etc a and having protection!! So she’s mature enough to talk about it but not mature enough to talk with her boyfriend and get crap ready!? Then get your butt back home! Is like these parents are not allowed to parent anymore!?? 🤦🏻♀️
😂
Ya’ll are the only reason I still watch this stupid show. But that puffer jacket gown Carrie was wearing in the terrible cgi blizzard was a Moncler Genius x Pierpaolo Piccioli collab from 2020-ish that I kind of loved because the entire collection was very “What if Marie Antoinette was forced to wear a puffer jacket?” And that’s a very important question I never knew I needed answering.
“Did you forget to watch the show you’re on!” had me rolling! Thank you for the laughs. 😂
That son is insufferable as well
The problem is they make getting old look bad when they should be celebrating all the good things about getting older. They are living in NY for fuck sake. CARRIE SHOULD BE A ROCK STAR 💥💖

41:46 I’m CRYINGGG hahahaa 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’m so glad I found this podcast. You guys say everything I’m thinking
Omg clicked so fast, I can’t wait to hear your take on Che doing cameos in bed 😂😂 it’s like the writers want us to hate her guts lol lol
Grace & Frankie founded a company called “Vybrant.” Their best seller was the “Ménage a moi” which was referred to as “the ménage.” My favorite episode was when they took a gift basket to the lady who had “diddled herself to death,” and was found with the toy “still buzzing.”
I was having a hard day and I saw you guys just posted and I'm relieved
When you guys do the Steve voice, it sounds like Sylvia Browne and it gives me all the good feels! 😂✨😂
ugh, I find steves voice so painful to listen to, tome, it sounds like it should be comng out of a 98 year old man, I really cant stand listening to him talk.
Someone had stated he really does have a problem??? I thought it was for the show since they state about a percentage of hearing loss.
Has anyone noticed the way Brady is looking at Lilly in the promo photo with everyone around the table? They’re probably getting together soon.
Same exact thought...
Yes. Point taken
Also Brady’s last name is Brady 😂
I laughed so loud at "You know what your dad really likes"!
“He likes to lie underneath the glass table…” 😂💀
I love, love, Love your Steve impersonations! You two make me want to have dinner and drinks with you both... no cell on the table! Just lots of wine ❤
I agree so much with how irritating it was that Steve chased Miranda to undo the truth bombing he just laid on her. So awful.
Best opening to a podcast on the entire internet. Ever. Love you J&J!
Why wouldn't they have Aidan reach out saying I heard about John.
Steve n Aidan talk
I could listen to you two 24/7….
I laugh so hard. Thank you.
I couldn’t even get through the episode. I’d rather just hear you two talk about it and give me the synopsis because it’s much more entertaining that way lol
Oh my gosh, I love your guys recap.
I don’t watch it, and hearing that Steve finally stood up to Miranda 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The way she acts needs a good kick in the ass.
What y’all said at 25:20…
Exactly!
I guess Steve's hearing difficulties have mysteriously resolved. Is he even wearing the hearing aid anymore?🤔
A better plotline for lily would she come up with a secret elaborate escape plan to get nookie .bf gets cold feet lily is disappointed.she Ends up bonding with Charlotte over when she was disappointed with trey.
I find myself belly laughing through these podcasts. Y’all need to be protected at all costs 😂
Why do they need to be protected? Are they receiving threats?
Incredibly absurd that lady would not accept a ride from her husband in a literal blizzard. What was she trying to prove? Seriously, he had heated seats. They tried to make it a moment but it was just plain stupid. And in the real world, that event would have been straight up canceled due to weather. Nobody is trying to die here to hear you speak about your movie.
You two are real talk and I am here for it Every Single Time…. And watch them a couple times.
“Isn’t there one designated person in the country to read the book?” 😂😂
Getting older is sad. I’m in their age group and watching them make me feel down. I want to watch a fun show, forget about reality.

It isn’t sad getting older. You gain wisdom. The issue with these characters getting older is that they are caricatures.
It's sad and so hard, very depressing!!
My mom is 60 and she if funnier than these all women together. I do not understand! It should be comedy, for God sake😲😴
In the Midwest we have a saying,
If you think getting older is bad, consider the fact it beats the alternative.
How many times is Carrie going to use the “my husband’s dead” card to get people to do stuff for her?

I did it! I watched your episode review before watching the actual ep and it's so much better that way 😂❤
So with this huge park avenue apartment….Lily and Rock still share a room?

It's not ok because they're both XX.
And Che hasn't done anything to merit being choked.
@@FranSanTeeth90 I am referring to the comment made in this video. If you can’t handle it get off a funny commentary. @@Ligeia_Ravin Let me first apologize, I misunderstood that part.
But please let's not compare SATC/AJLT to The Three Stooges.
I love the Stooges. But AJLT presents itself as aspirational and The Girls as mostly rolemodels.
And I think we can both agree that if any of the couples had strangled each other it would patently wrong.
Your AJLT recaps/reviews are so entertaining - much better than the actual show! Keep ‘em coming.

Miranda did a lot of spooning on this episode.
11:30 I knda feel like charlotte got an unclear "prude" stereotype, even miranda said she had "a decent amount of bone in her," when she questioned, in episode: Are we sluts? She never expected a commitment from all those guys she slept with.
This episode was cringe with Charlotte encouraging Lily to have sex. Why not just take her to the clinic to get on bc? This show is pure trash

And I think a lil birdie is listening to y’all and going back with the ideas. Love the show your! Not theirs 😂
The kids on this show are insufferable. I can really do without them as part of the characters' storylines.
You guys are the best! I would have loved to see the kid going through the window too!
And in the newest episode we see Aidan's annoying 14-year-old son. Too much with the children. Not fun. Not funny.
Omg love the intro. It’s hilarious and pumps me up at the same time 😂
This episode was HORRIBLE. No parent that I know would passively sit by and allow their High-school age daughter become sexually active much less be blackmailed into buying them condoms.

I liked the Che‘ character for the first time when she dumped Miranda.
Darlings I watched Survival of the Thickest, on the Netflix and was reminded of what AJLT missed
You nailed my reaction. The producers read social media; all that FOCUSES on the show so they know for every online reaction there's 1000 luddites who feel the same but don't post...they should thank this PODCAST & real people reviews or NO ONE would be watching. J & John--so sweet & totally are the reason Sema ( is that ALSO a Lion king name, cause Nala..?) I dunno..is wearing a lot of cocoa brown and dressing better than everyone. ALSO, of course, Steve was due his 80 seconds of dialogue. These writers, my god.....I 😑
Is Che trans? I thought they were non binary
YES! And I don't understand why SJP shakes her head every time when she speaks?!
