Why wouldn't Che be hustling and do stand-up anywhere instead of settling for a vet tech job?. Everything is so forced and clumsy in this show.
I think it’s bc her self esteem is still shattered from the show…but it’s FEBRUARY, she should be doing exactly what you’re saying, but maybe she lost the drive. I think the show is gonna show us that Che is a better person when they are not a comic.
I think they suffer from anxiety / depression so maybe she just doesn’t want to for now
Carrie changed her phone number in the first movie after Big left her at the alter. Aidan having her number but Carrie not having Aidan’s made no sense.
Maybe she gave it to him in an email and he programmed it into his phone? Her not having HIS number in her phone contacts didn’t make sense to me either.. also the fact that she says there was a reservation and the waiter just walked her right over to a table. 🤔

Yes! I also thought it was weird when Rocks classmates cheered when she was on the billboard. I mean we all have a few supportive friends but to me this also felt super unrealistic that a horde of high school girls would cheer like that.

Male or female, we’ve all seen our friends’ bodies at the beach, the pool, dressing rooms, gym or spa. It’s not a sexual situation. Her constant selfish confrontations with strangers and lovers are all red flags for Carrie not to join her in the Hamptons or continue their friendship.

This show is so fake. There's no way in the world that after 13 years, being married, and having children would someone just meet up, have sex, and suddenly be back "in love" as if nothing ever changed. I.could see if it was only a couple years but 13? Come on. They just want to make it seem like Carrie is so irresistible. She's absolutely boring and a drag!
Bunny from SATC (Frances Sternhagen) is still alive - she’s 93. So they probably just made her seem older than she was (this show has a long history of that!)

In SATC, Carrie dressed with more panache & was able to pull off some fantasy items… but in this series, she seems to be married to plaid and hiding her body… ala the cat lady.

I’m single and have always been oddly self-conscious about the size of my beds…no matter what size I have at any given time. LoL Well this week I noticed both their beds…especially Carrie’s and thought, “Has Carrie ALWAYS slept on an IKEA twin??? What is going on here?🤣🤣

And what about the number of men Carrie has hosted in that one bed? Big once commented that he smelled Aiden (and wood chips, “Paco Raban,”) in that bed. If the writers want to keep it real, let’s face it- Carrie’s apartment bed has seen a lot of action and those smells might not always be compatible or even tolerable. I am thinking that this bed would be fairly disgusting by this point- no judgment. Just the facts.
Honestly, I like the idea that Che and Miranda are toxic to each other and bring out the worst parts of themselves. It would certainly explain alot.
The whole setup of their relationship bas based on toxicity of people had been paying attention. With her smoking the weed out of the blue at the funeral, and the sex in Carries house while she was ill.
I predict that Miranda and Steve will at least hook up again (as they often did while broken up in the original SATC). Justice would be served by having Miranda (again) decide she truly loves (and wants) Steve after all but then having Steve leave the “post it” breakup note as Miranda takes a violent swing to their “dessert ritual”/ice cream bar.
On the upside, at least it's causing people to pay attention to toxicity on the relationship and/or FWB front in some weird roundabout way...??🤷🤷
In SATC, it seemed like everyone cared about the work. The writing, the acting, the style, the directing ... and it sparkled because of this. In AJLT it seems like nobody cares, everyone is just going through the motions and doing it for a big, fat paycheck. It's truly awful. 😢

I literally screamed “what the fuck is he wearing!?” When Aidan appeared. His arms looked so short and weird idk he looked like he was wearing a straight jacket 🧥😖🤦🏾♀️ and is it possible for ANYONE to have gotten an acting class before coming back to the show…everyone is so rusty it’s awkward
Straight jacket would be appropriate being that Carrie’s cheating sent him over the edge emotionally.

When Aidan held his arms out for a hug, it looked weird. It wasn't like a man who wanted to hug a woman. It was like a toddler who wanted a hug from their mommy.

She's reading lines with no enthusiasm whatsoever so is Kristen and who is Cynthian Nixon she's a body double for Miranda OH MY GOD who is writing this junk. I'll tell you it's 4 people collecting 1million an episode for just showing up.😅😢😮 out of all the shows that have had a reunion this is by far the worst I have ever seen. It's traumatic is what it is. I'm surprised at Sarah J. Parker.😢😮 to produce this kind of work it's shameful.
The only good thing about this episode was Lisa ACTUALLY being a parent and not trying to be the "Cool Parent" by building expectations and boundaries with her son unlike Miranda or Charlotte and her girls who just lets them do whatever since clearly they have no control over their kids and/or the kids don't respect them. There is no universe where I would announce having sex to my parents, be allowed to bone my boyfriend in the next room, or make my mom get me condoms. Educate your kids, yes but also, BE A FRIGGEN PARENT NOT A BEST FRIEND AND PROTECT THEM.
I was so happy when Aiden seemingly realized that getting back with Carrie was wrong.....THEN of course the writers screw that logic up and made him go right back in the the snake pit. At this point Aiden deserves whatever is coming to him. I will never understand the appeal of Carrie. She is a narcissist, materialistic, and just a bad friend all around.
LTW is the queen. And damn it, Aidan had his chance to run! Run, Aidan, RUN!
Che Wearing the wedding dress with bird on her head, that was sooo funny you guys! What a funny image! You two have the best chemistry! Funny stuff! You could teach the actors from AJLT a thing or two. Look forward to this recap above all the others, Yasss!
This was the better episode so far. I liked that they acknowledged Charlotte being pathetic and Miranda getting disillusioned by gay dating in the city (We’ve all met a “fabulous” person and then saw how they really lived).
I liked the rekindling of romance with Aiden and how they validated his lingering feelings about the affair immediately.
My only problem… The show makes finding work in the city look too easy. Carrie, Charlotte, Rock, Giuseppe and Che have all had great jobs just land in their lap.
And there was no scene of Lilly getting in trouble for the brownies in their house. Getting tired of Seema’s “Karen” scenes.
When she treated Aidan so badly in the original series that was when I decided that Carrie was a B! Never liked her since then when Queen Kim came forward about her I knew it’s just SJP! She’s awful!

If there's a third season in the powers-that-be listen to this podcast please hire these two as writers. They're smart they're waiting they're funny. The writing is so bad. So bad that they have to revisit the whole we went to the wrong restaurant like they did in the original series for Carrie birthday. Also they should have began the episode with Aiden not being interested and then at the end getting them back together I mean within 2 seconds I can't go back up there but let's get a hotel there's no wanting for that there's no waiting no anticipation nothing. But it was still great to see Aiden. I named my firstborn after him
