Not sure if you have tried them but reusable paper towels are a good way to cut down on waste and also save room in the closet. I personally love mine and would never go back. We also keep one roll of regular paper towels for certain things/just in case. Love your channel and happy to have found you!

Keep going! I declutter weekly...it keeps the crap down. You have to take paint to a special pick up place...in the bigger cities they have "events" for old electronics and paint to drop off...try calling the city as they usually sponsor it!!
I label my cords and cables as they come into my house if they are not obvious. For example, my Kobo charger has Kobo engraved into the plastic. I still have older cables that I have no idea about. I eventually get rid of them.
Paint disposal is at hazardous waste places. In our county, we have four days a year to do this. Bigger cities probably have a place to do so.
I remember you talking about Christmas socks and they were in a brown bag in a closet on a top shelf .
I used to have a bunch of colorful socks but have been getting rid of the stained ones and replaced them with 2 packages of the same black socks.

looks like those random wood pieces would be great to use as brackets to add another shelf in there for your tools or something of the like! Another shelf could be a game changer in there
Btw on the socks issue not pretending to stop you from getting rid of them but what I do with lost/mismatched socks is wearing them at home if they are still in great condition or they are a cozy material, you dont have to be fancy at home (or nowhere) and they tear apart more eassily than the ones you wear outside so you get use of them but wont be sad when decide letting them go
the only thing is, all of these socks are so different in weight/thickness/etc that I wouldn't be able to wear them at the same time😂it would bother me too much LOL
but! your suggestion did remind me of the fact that if you use an old sock to dust, it's much easier! bc you can just wear it on your hand and wipe down surfaces.... so I might keep one or two of them for that tbh

Might be a little late, but if you have a top loading washer socks can get sucked out of the drum inside of the machine. You can take off the front panel and get them out very easily. Just find a quick TH-cam tutorial. My washer had like 4 socks and 2 pairs of underwear after just 6 months.

I hope the following might help you: Regarding your tiredness: Have you considered that you might be iron deficient? My daughter has this problem from time to time and is always the last one to pick up on it. You said that you wondered what to do with instruction manuals. If you still have and use the appliances, decide whether you would actually need or use the instructions. If you would, check online to see if available there and if not either photograph/scan and put in a file on phone/computer. Cords and cables are a real pain. Don't you wish they would print some kind of label somewhere unobtrusive on them? I'm considering labelling the ones we have kept using my Dymo label tape so it is quick and easy to find the one I need/know whether it is still something useful. Yesterday I found my Apple watch charger and I have already sold the watch. I've seen others with cheap velcro ties that keep your cables neat and tangle-free when you are not using them and I'm thinking of buying some to keep things tidy and organised. In Australia, paint is collected at special centres for recycling. Ours is at our tip. When I do laundry at the laundromat, I will often find a single sock left behind in the washer or dryer, so now I always check the machines when I'm done, and I no longer have missing socks

omg you're so sweet, but it's totally okay!!! they were from a tiny little haberdashery in Tavestock😭💗 the shop owner literally said it was their first time ordering women's socks to their shop so I have no clue where they're from or if they're even still there! just one of those things you have to release back to the universe...

yeah we just rearranged our whole living room and bedroom and nothing🥲 those socks had been missing for months and months... I was holding on to them for too long LOL
