We've teamed up with Ramair again to produce an induction kit for the MK8 platform 2.0 Tdi engines! 💪
An easy install that can be done at home and a great way to increase airflow and get those extra induction noises everyone loves!

@ChristopherFlanagan anyone can fit an induction kit ,BUT IF YOU are a CAR FANATIC, MY SUGGESTION is RATHER GO TO DSD YOU MIGHT GET A BETTER PRICE ON THE induction kit , BUT WILL PAY FOR FOR THE INSTALLATION WHICH might include a BEFORE and a AFTER RUN and SOME EXPERTISE ADVICE ON ENHANCING PERFORMANCE of you vehicle and if the guys ARE NOT BUSY YOU WILL Certainly get a tour of the premises.
After you guys worked on my Octi with a GTB2260VK and open cone, it sounded the nuts 👌

My lt35 2.5tdi van sounds like that with defender 90 snorkel no air box and straight piped

Would've been interesting to see dyno before and after. I have a feeling we would see minor power loses (not gains).
Probably only 1 hp more than before.
They tend to make a few horse power more over restrictive stock air boxes. Helps when coming to tune them later on

Is there a kit that I could get for my 2003 PD beetle to have wheezing like this ?
I used to own an Alfa 56 plate 156 2.4 JTD. I fitted an eBay cone filter to it and it made these noises too.

Sounds sweet! Any real world gains from any sort of induction kit for the bitdi CUAA engine? (B8 Passat)
Not got an induction kit for the bitdi so not done any testing on them. Like most induction kits there would be some small gains with the better air flow but mostly noise

Any chance you might show what the induction kit that you sell for the A1 2.0tdi sounds like ? Also a before and after rolling road. I’m interested to see as I may be tempted for mine. Also being the air filter isn’t enclosed what’s the chance of water getting sucked in and getting hydrolock ? I used to have a ep3 type-R years ago and I had a cover that went on the filter to help reduce the chance of it sucking in water. Do you sell performance washable panel filters for the Audi A1 2.0tdi ?
Should make similar induction noises. Power wise they tend to make a few hp more but nothing crazy. Had no issues with water getting in the filter
This type of induction kit + the flick in the left grill for more air is also useful on bmw b47 (125d) engine or the standard bmw induction is enough?

Do you do a kit for 2016 era Touareg 3.0 V6 tdi and could you do a video on that?
We've not got a kit at the moment, but something we could possibly look into
Got my 2017 Skoda Superb remapped by you guys last year, which kit would i need for it, (engine code DFCA), and is it a similar fitment and result? Would it adversely affect the map?

Do you know if that kit fits in other TDI 2.0 from vag group like DFHA engine? (The layout of that GTD looks pretty similar to my DFHA)
And regarding performance, do you reckon it could provide improvement performance compared to stock box with K&N air filter? Or it is just for the sound?
DFHA does partially fit one of their kits, recently got one and the pipe at the turbo doesn't fit due to a larger diameter at the turbo, before MAF fits fine.
I noticed it didn't make much more noise until tuned, now it makes nice noises and it seemed to help the tune work out better.
That was a MK7 kit that was recommended by them, perhaps the MK8 one fits better.
@@mwmm Thanks for the info! I have a remaped Skoda Kodiaq and so far I had a K&N air filter on the stock box. I was thinking about upgrading to one of these which sounds really nice
