The back glass is adhered to the metal plate, so its a thin glass. Removing the metal plate and paint to make the glass clear would make the back glass very weak, so if you apply pressure with your finger you can break it. So doubt anyone would want to do a clear mod to the back of this phone :)

bro u dropped it from such a height and on hard concrete and it didnt break i bought my iphone 14 plus and it dropped on a hard surface about 3 feet and ifs back glass from corner bulging out and sitting intop of the frame

I wouldn't call these attempts a test. The environment and the conditions are not controlled, therefore the test is not replicable accurately

Yeah, its just a rough idea. Also you need to consider that you don't use your phone in controlled environments on a daily basis so when your dropping it, it wont be in ideal conditions.
@@PBKreviews yes, you have your points aswell. I haven’t come up with a more accurate solution myself, I just feel that these kind of “tests” basically are just random destructions. Measuring and analysing the nature and the amount of the force it takes to damage the phone would be something I would expect from similiar kind of test. I know it is not easy content.
They made removable to get more money so you can buy new glass easily and change it lol.
