I love how Bad Fur Day retroactively made Conker’s inclusion here about 20 times more intriguing and confusing.
Conker actually got his own game *before* Bad Fur Day, before his sharp turn into darkness and mature themes. Look up "Conker's Pocket Tales"

I’m aware. That game is also made about 50 times more interesting by BFD’s mere existence.
The reason conker went fron a kid friendly character to a raging alcoholic and profanity slinging bad squirrel is because of Nintendos original concept design for him being a cute friendly squirrel that just fights off ordinary looking non gruesome enemies because he's on a quest for something but after that idea got scrapped do to whatever reason it all got canceled and now we have 2 games because conkers pocket tales exists and that was likely only made when conker was first imagined as a gaming character for his introductory game but then we have the true conker game that everyone knows and loves today bad fur day and the fact that nintendo despised the idea of releasing it doesn't make a difference because now we have one of the most hilarious games ever made aside from its mechanical flaws and the remake on xbox not being as good and such it stikk stands out as one of the best and most memorable games to date simply because of its lack of filtering even if it was censored though I'm probably one of the only few that still wonder to this day how conker would have ended up today had it gone the whole happier and more friendly route.

To anyone who thinks Pipsy is the best character, sorry to disappoint, but she's actually the worst character, in terms of top speed. She's still better than Krunch, though, as her handling and acceleration are the best.

i love diddy kong because its diddy kong, i remember when i was child i had DK64 and diddy kong racing on my n64, it was so strange to play DIDDY kong racing and then DK64 because Diddy looked totally different in both games

For those of you confused about Conker, he was originally meant to be a more family friendly character but due to criticism of his planned-but-cancelled game, Twelve Tales Conker 64, as being "another cutesy Rare game" he was revamped into an edgier character in BFD. His Diddy Kong appearance was long before the revamp was even considered.
Well that's lame, I actually wanted to play that Twelve Tales game, and besides unlike those BFD fans I don't simp for that stupid Berri gf of his edgy counterpart lmao.

Diddy is currently the only one still in the business. Krunch got banned to unknown island by King K Rool for being a bad rep for the races. He has been dead since the 90s. Conker slowly spiraled into alcohol and drugs shortly after. He has since tried to make a recovery, but to no avail. He is currently doing community service. Tiptup is currently retired from racing and his taking care of his 100 grand children. T.T. left the racing scene back in the early 2000s. He currently is vacationing in the year 3076. Pipsy like Conker got into hard drugs and unfortunately passed away in 1999. Timber shortly after developed cancer, but he overcame it and is now a professional athlete. Banjo fell on some hard times years later..he became homeless...lived on the streets for scraps with his wife Kazooie. He went mad. Until one day he got a call from Nintendo wanting him back for something big. Bumper is currently in prison...we don't talk about what he did. Drumstick has retired to a farm...where he once cooked.

I LOVE the soundtrack for this game so much, the characters, the setting, the levels, the unique idea, and the voices. It's one of the best games I've ever played, I don't know anybody who doesn't love this game.

During the launch of DKR Rare was developing Conker's Quest, in 1998 it was renamed Twelve Tales: Conker's 64 which was going to be a game suitable for all ages very similar to Banjo-Kazooie, and for that reason Rare canceled it since it was another infantile platform more of the mound.
At the same time Rare was developing Conker's Pocket Tales which if it was released in 1999 for Game Boy / Game Boy Color, this game was developed in the same universe of Twelve Tales.
Rare used the canceled game of N64 to create one for adults known in 2001 as Conker's Bad Fur Day.
The mini-channel fading on the music is next level.

I always used Bumper, just because I loved his voice and the fact that he was a badger.
