For us INTJs, all I can really sum it up with is "big". We want to change how the world works. I think Te and our third slot Fi balance each other out. Te drives us to make massive systemic changes, to try and make the world work better, but our Fi (which can be *very* strong, and sometimes our primary motivator) steps in and asks if what we are doing is meaningful, how we feel about it, and whether our current actions or direction lines up with our core values.

    0:33 Kate's descriptions for
Fe Significance= Impact we are having on others
Fi Meaning= Impact something has on you individuals. What matters and what is important.
1:12 Possible Fi meaning described through Victor Frankl's Man Search for Meaning:
    1. Work and Achievements
    2. Relationships and Love
    3. Finding Courage in the Face of Suffering
2:00 Kate sharing her struggle with meaning
2:40 Example of Fe use from Tom Bilyeu
3:40 ENTJ and ESTJ (Fi inferior)- Spend life working achievements working and getting to the point of questioning the Fi meaning?
4:16 INTP and ISTP (Fe inferior)- Work on creating something or a logical system but not sharing it with anyone and not realizing the Fe significance they could bring others to a broader audience.
5:10 INTJ and ISTJ (Fi child)- Thinking about the Fi meaning for them rather than the significance for others of their work, actions, and relationships.
5:27 INFP and ISFP (Fi hero)- Become altruistic and sacrificing themselves for their cause and ideals, but consider helping yourself before helping others.
5:43 ESFJ and ENFJ (Fe hero) just kidding - Self sacrificing for the sake of others but consider cleaning up own house before clean up world.
All types need to find what is meaningful and significance and balance it with own personal needs.

Hi, I really enjoyed this. And you say many insightful things on this channel. I believe MBTI works near the top of that human needs pyramid you showed
I wish to offer my observations from working at the bottom of the pyramid I am hoping it will add to the area you expressed some interest in. I don't want it to come across as Te, or better, or you shoulda known. Just a slice of life from my eyes, use or disregard, all good.
I am going to attempt an analogy to Ti. If you think of you, the human you built as a structure, thoughts, loves, capacities, etc. Then something so severe ( maybe you have experience, idk) happens that destroys you to the point that all the extra trimmings ob the structure are gone, even the framework may be demolished , such that there is very little you can do. Maybe you're riddled with painful cancer, maybe your child is dying, homeless, so many things in this world. You will cease to function in the most basic of ways. You may gather what internal energy you can and fan the embers of human that is in you. And it will take superhuman effort to look at the sky and see beauty and resonate with what it is to be human. These are noble battles, not just the instinct to survive.
You and your content are very much appreciated 💙

Yo, where are all the comments at? This was a great video. I think you're right about Fe being the impact we have on others being that it is the judgment function involving people. That's helpful because I was trying to come up with quicker explanation for the functions to explain to people.
I was thinking that Ni could be simplified to discovering the essence, and Ne could be simplified to explaining a concept, which, still gotta praise you for putting that real vs real concept out there. Been hyped on it ever since I saw that in your earlier thumbnail. It's an inspirational sentiment.
I'm following the official Meyers and Briggs site as my basis, so I don't take the PoLr function as part of canon, and I could be wrong, but I think the idea of the PoLr function sets a self-fulfilling prophecy psychological limitation on a person, but, I don't know my type to refute in myself, so I don't know how helpful this is but based on your previous help, I prefer Se, and from this video, I prefer Fe, and based on Heart of Michi's video on the difference between extroversion or introversion, I related to her description of extroversion which is someone who instantly reacts and generally responds right away unless they're busy as opposed to someone who takes time to processing things, which would leave ESTP and ENFJ, but I related a lot to the ESFP SP Spazz's descriptions of SP types, and I found the video where he discussed SP types not wanting be tracked called "SFP Clubhouse", with SP Spazz and an ISFP talking in a stream for 2 hours. You may know all that information but I remembered you bringing something up about at that with your interview with Taylor, and I related to you but I don't know if that's just an SP thing, or just smart. Another reason why I'm not into the whole online community type thing, when I hear the community word, the Eminem "I don't know you, and no, I don't owe you" lyrics come up from his one song, but I don't remember what it's called. All I know it's the way I am though, and Eminem is an ISTP. Nothing else about that song. Just that one lyric out of context. I don't remember the rest. Phew...not getting nothing on my psychological profile internet that lasts forever.
But in your previous videos, I think have been relating with your ISXP descriptions, but, and while I could just suck, I've been writing with an awesome commenter who thinks she's an ISXP, and I think I'm out of my league with the Ni but that's how I like it! Rather be worst in the big leagues because it helps me improve. At least as long as they'll have me.
You've been studying type longer than me Kate, and have done a lot of research with a typing app and site, and being that you've done so many videos that I haven't seen, you may have covered everything and be aware of every argument, and I think you're a real, meaning you recognize authenticity, plus, in general, I think women are better at social perceptions than men, and I might be dumb, but I was thinking that the notion of the PoLr function can
lead to a condescending attitude to other people (which I'm not trying to do!) where a lot of people might project their weakness on others when people might have worked out that PoLr muscle function. Also, many people could be mistyped where they might argue how they are so bad with a function as an excuse, and then it turns out later on that what they referred to as their PoLr function is their dominant function.
The awesome commenter I mentioned thought she was an INTJ and she brought her supposed relationship with Fe, but now she thinks she's an ISXP type, and nothing really changed for me since as long as she's explained the functions correctly, I'm just having a blast writing with her because she's just an amazing person, which means that even if she did, I wouldn't care because I'm having a blast, and then we can always change our opinions on how functions work, or just keep writing about non type stuff. She still could be an INTJ, I don't know her in person, but she helped make Christmas my favorite day of the year, when, previously, while it was my favorite day of the year from an intellectual place being that it is the birth of my Lord Jesus Christ, from an emotional place, Halloween has been my favorite holiday since I was a kid because it appeared like people were most happy, no drama, just costumes and fun, and I associated the aspects of Christmas outside of Jesus' Birth to be not so merry, but this commenter came up with a description of an image of lights on a Christmas tree to show her appreciation for Christmas, and being that I believed her to be authentic, it made me think that if someone would find happiness in just looking at a Christmas tree, that's amazing gratitude, and then I thought about how I can't stand sitting still. I like to go go go.
I bring up watching and reading entertainment here but I got into them because of health issues, and it was like pulling teeth to get me to do it because I thought they were a waste of time because I wanted to be married with a family with a job, and didn't care about much beyond that, except working out, which had in part to do with wanting to look good for my girlfriend and then, hopefully wife, but being that I believe the purpose of relationships is ordered toward marriage which is ordered toward raising children, and I wouldn't have the health to take care of kids, I was bitter, and getting into entertainment to connect with people over made me less bitter, and I think kept me down to earth, which is what I thought of with that tree and then it made me continue to be even more hopeful for a miracle that things will change so I could have a wife and kids to sit and look at tree with because that would be a motivation for me to slow down, outside of my Faith, which I've been working on, and even though the commenter told me she wasn't Christian, she helped me grow in my Faith in that little moment of helping me grow in gratitude, plus I think she's helping me develop Fi.
She's been an example how people just need the right person at the right time to reach them, so maybe I've heard so many better arguments to appreciate Christmas and maybe you and everyone here wouldn't connect like I did, but I think it's pretty sweet to show how each of us have that power to change the world the moment we're all born, and it shows how precious and amazing life is. It's like how you can say hi to someone, and maybe he will give you a dirty look, but he might be be a tiny bit uplifted later on, or maybe be a bit nicer to people in his life, which will then continue the put of positivity put in the world, which is pretty sweet that we can all make that kind of Fe impact, especially INTJs and ISTJs.
Thank you for your insight on your struggle with Fi, Kate. If only it was just as easy to get that Fi in like one of those stomp rockets that you just...stomp on...and push the rocket out...and then put the rocket back in because the point is to keep the Fi in, so the point is to not have a stomp rocket relationship with Fi...
Anyway, I don't get what's up with the lack of commenters because this is a good video. I checked out Tom Bilyeu's channel. Thank you and have a great day. Wait, that didn't come across right. That wasn't a knock against his channel. haha
Thank you for continuing to make these videos so quickly. I've been trying to put time aside in case a video shows up because this is fun. Keep making a great impact on this world. Take care!

Kate, is Tom Bilyeu an ENFJ? I only got a chance to watch a couple minutes of one of his videos, so that's not enough to type someone, but for some reason I got that impression. Also, went through his thumbnails when I was multitasking, and I think they are helpful in illustrating your fantastic description of Fe appeal to a broader audience.
If so, ah rats, you worked your ESTP promoter magic on me, because I got suckered into finally subscribing to an ENFJ, so I gotta correct that ASAP.
Also, for an ESTP who struggles with Fi, which, really appreciate you sharing, you're doing an amazing job explaining Fi. It's really helpful!
Also, when you described ISTJs and INTJs, being your opposite in that they struggle with Fe significance, does that mean that they not only struggle how they come across to others, but they also don't know if they have any meaning for others?
If so, with your very kind, friendly, and funny continual mention of INTJs, you've probably brought a lot of Fi meaning to their lives with your gracious Fe impact. Were you aware Catwoman is an ESTP?
If there an any INTJ Batman fans, check out the price of the Batman figures that Tom Bilyeu has. Maybe if you want to have a little escapism fun connecting with people, consider finding a popular, but niche fanbase of characters that's merchandise is worth a lot of money so if you're ever in need of food, you're set to jet, so you can have fun doing something you enjoy with others that will help you remain down to earth grounded with people since classic popular stuff appeals to people of all walks of life so you might get to connect with a lot of really cool people and learn a lot, since apparently INTJs are big into learning while making bank! Not that any other type isn't big into learning.
I've sold figures for hundreds of dollars, and just saw last night that my Frank Miller Daredevil Omnibus that I think I bought for 45 bucks was around 275 dollars used on amazon. Check out classic, fan favorite, niche franchises that have a dedicated fanbase and look up prices of merchandise, and see if it's something that appeals to you, or maybe for your family and friends. Or being that you're intuitive, grandchildren!
There's an INTJ figure reviewer I used to watched Anthonyscustoms who might help you pick stuff out. He was one of my favorite internet people that I'll remember because he had such a great personality. Not personality type because all types are equal, so if they're all great, none of them all....but then how are they all great? Anyways, his personality rocked because he was a funny down to earth guy who told it like he saw it.
Keep be an amazing light, Kate. Hope you and your family have a great weekend!
