I can’t even count how many times I laughed out loud while listening through my earbuds (warranting VERY strange looks from the hubs). …not the least of which were Steph’s two burps. You are always a riot to watch! You both solved an enormous problem for me! I find it hard to watch all my flosstube stitchers while teaching, grading, and planning, but now I can combine the two with your hilarious, engaging vocabulary lessons! I can send you the 6th grade vocabulary words for your next episode!! Till then, I guess, I'll have to teach them on my own!Lol!

Oh my word, what a show! First, thank you for allowing me to share your table at Galleria! I had a fantastic time sitting with my favorite Flosstubers, and getting to know you all better! I hope to attend again next year! I wish there had been more time, it my trip down to Stitch, etc. took a bit longer than I thought! I’m very sad not to have received my invoice for StitchCon but I’m going to be patient and optimistic about it and hope I’ll be there! Thank you Steph for your hard work, and for assurance that it is okay to email inquiries as to where people are on the waitlist. I laughed at all of the words today, thank you Pam for the English lesson! Have fun at Stitch West! You gals are really getting around! Pam, your finishes are beautiful and I am so glad I was able to see your stunning stitching up close and personal!
Finally! Hi Ladies, yes it’s me again and finally Mum watched your video and was speechless when she heard you mention not only my name but her name! Missed you ladies last week! So glad to see you home safe and sound. I agree with Kathi of New Delhi….. you floss tubers do so much for those of us who watch regularly. I am in my 70s and housebound much of the time due to health issues. It is so wonderful to watch you as I stitch. thank you so much for all that you do! ❤️❤️

Super excited to see ya'll at Stitch West!! We were at Shepard's Bush on Saturday getting some items for our Donation Drive that my mom & I do each year & it was a madhouse with all the people that flew in early for the Shepard's Bush retreat. :) It's the cutest little shop, I hope you enjoy it!
THANK YOU for the shop and galleria tour videos. When you say that you purchased a pattern because you saw the sample, these tours give me the chance to also have a tour. I love buying new patterns, but am restraining myself (with difficulty, LOL) because I have two dozen kits made up and ready to go. Again, Pam and Steph. Thanks so much.

I so enjoy your shop tours! I spotted a design in your tour of Stitch N Frame that I fell in love with, so I had to go searching. It turned out to be a 2008 design from Cross-Eyed Cricket called Rest and Be Thankful. I found it on 123 Stitch and had never purchased from them before as I live in Canada. I took the plunge and ordered the chart and the two silk flosses. The service was very quick. I am starting the project today, thanks for enabling me!

(**Stitch Harmony Kristie) - Hi Krisitie, please stay with me on this rambling! I don`t live in Alaska but in Switzerland! However, I am pretty sure that the Flosstuber „Penny`s Daughter Stitches“ had (within the last year) a friend from Anchorage who was visiting her and she sat with her on one of her Flosstube broadcasts. I remember this because we had our upcoming Alaskan cruise this past June, and like me here in Switzerland, she mentioned that she had no Hobby Lobby or LNS where she could buy fun cross stitch stuff! And when she was visiting Penny, she was able to stock up on those kinds of things. I suggest you either try and look for this episode of Penny`s Daughter Stitches or go to her latest one and write a comment asking if she doesn`t have a friend that was visiting from Anchorage. What do traditional cross stitchers think of stamped cross stitch? I sometimes feel “less than” whenever I mention I prefer stamped patterns. You’re thoughts! Love you girls. You make me smile!

This is hysterical!!! I’m blown away!!! Just watching your latest flosstube and you talked about Cranberry Cottage. I live 45 miles from Terre Haute and that’s where we do all our shopping so I know TH well. I live in Robinson, IL where Heath Toffee Bars are made across the street from me. (Yes, I’m the one who brings you the candy at Galleria). Ok. Here’s where I lost my composure. When you showed the video of the cottage…I had just heard of the shop this summer and HAD to find it. Of course, my GPS took me to this house and my husband drove around the block several times before I finally got the courage to go up to the door to see if I was at the right place. I got to the door and there was a sign…closed for vacation!!! Soooo close to the only crossstitch store inside a 4hr drive and it’s closed!!! So, I didn’t make it back but now that I’ve seen your video, I’m headed there tomorrow!

I'm so excited! Stitch West is my very first retreat! I had no idea (obviously) that you were both attending. So very cool! I'm even more excited (and nervous). So many new things to experience. I'm attempting to make/finish something for the smalls exchange. As someone who has never fully finished anything it's a big step! But....Yay!
Steph…I have the Pink Sparrow Sampler. Seeing it ‘in person’ makes it so much prettier! Now I want to get it out and start it.

I was able to get into Friendstitch from the waiting list--my box is sitting and staring at me with my completed small on top of it. So far I've been good and haven't opened it. I'm also attending the afternoon session. It'll be fun to see your smiling faces. I also had a chance to go to Stitch West, but thought I would do just one event this year even though I live just 25 minutes from the hotel. Have fun on your travels. Lovely ladies, tonight you are boggling my mind with how far your audience stretches! From the USA, to New Delhi, Alaska and here in Capel Sound across the bay from Melbourne, Australia (Google it, Steph 😂). All us stitchers, scattered world-wide, waiting with anticipation for our weekly dose of stitchy fun to drop in - thankyou, you are a couple of gems. It leads me to ask you both - how did you first start cross stitching? I am presuming it was Pam who brought you into it, Steph (as my Mum brought me into stitching and her Mum before her), was it part of your recovery? How did you come into it, Pam? Did your Mum lead you in? If not, who opened that basket of threads and fabric to you? That’s how it happened to me, I was 10, Mum said I could sew my own button on and I loved it and, very puzzled, asked Mum why I loved it so much? “Well,” she said, “I’ll show you something.” And from the top of the cupboard pulled down a basket. When she opened the lid time stood still, angels sang and the contents glowed and pulsated, I can still see all the colours. I’d love to hear your answers. Love to you both … and again, thankyou. xxx

Pam and Steph I loved watching all the shops you did. I did some I want to add to my wishlist because they are so beautiful. There is so much talent in our community and absolutely love it. I glad you two had fun at Galleria retreat. I love your WIP's. I LOL when Steph was talking in English accent it was funny. I'm thrilled you'll be at Stitch West. I'll be there too (my first retreat). I hope we get to meet. You have to visit Shephard's Bush although I wonder how stocked their store will be since they just had their retreat this week. I was in their store last Saturday, just before the retreat, and everyone was in town and already shopping. Other LNS you should visit, if you get a chance is Craft Center of Fine Stitchery. Great store. I can't wait for Stitch West!

So funny! Loved the vocob lessons. I do that to my 12 year old grandson, using unusual words. He's like what does that mean, then i have to try to explain it. Then he says, why didn't you just say that. I told him i am try to expand his vocabulary. He does not find it funny but i laugh and keep doing it. Hope you have fun with your retreats. Safe travels!

You two are golden in my book! Despite a challenging week, you still show up for all us and shield us from what had to be a heinous week of questions/concerns over the pp fiasco. You make us laugh, touch our hearts and support us in ways you don't even know. I have said it once and will say it again -- after a harrowing year of tremendous loss and almost constant pain, it's JKS, 911 stitcher, and CZook Stitch that have carried me through. Love watching you ladies as usual. Beautiful stitching. I love the sparrow, the colors are so much more vibrant then on the leaflet. I’m the one that sent you fabrics and kits last year from The Circle Of Friends that didn’t interest me. The circle of friends club is different designers each year. So each kit will be from someone different. You have to renew each year. They always tell you who will be designing the next club before sign ups start. Hope you enjoy the club.
I love getting mill hill kits from The Silver Needle, when I lived in Houston I would go to the quilt festival to visit the silver needles booth. Their store is on my bucket list of LNS’s to visit

Welcome back -- even on a holiday Pam and Steph are here! What a treat! Allison sounds a bit like Pam and Steph's very own Flat Stanley of elementary school fame! I am going to guess that more than one Hoosier has already told you this, but Indiana State University is in Terra Haute, so there is actually something else there. It is also the home of the Mother House of the Sisters of Providence who ran my high school here in Washington, D.C. (insert smile emoji here, which I would do if I knew how to). Have fun next weekend!!
My sleepy eyes popped open when you mentioned the friends who were "doing Ohio". I did Ohio last week myself. I visited my daughter who lives in Mentor. My oldest daughter joined us at the end of the week and we three went to Amish country where we discovered a real jewell of which you're probably aware. We were sent to Middlefield by lovely clerk at Mary Yodder's to a very small little mall called The Craft Cupboard. We spent over an hour (and too much money) in this little shop. It is an ages old quilt store which is jam packed with fabric, notions etc. etc. The proprietors are an elderly couple who know their stuff. I know you're not quilters, but next door was an equal gem of a cross stitch shop. We drooled picking in the window because she had gone home ill. I did not find out the name of it. If you find the Craft Cupboard and a very large Holstein cow you're there! Your long video got me through a trying day. Thank You.
It took me 4 hours to watch your video today! Maximus interruptus. Steph, you deserve the Employee of the Year Award! Also, the minute you started with your British accent, I had to get up and make a cup of tea. Your trip to the shop in Indiana reminds me of the first time my cousin and I were looking for a certain shop in MA and kept riding by the house thinking the GPS was drunk. Zero signage letting us know it was there. Thanks for all you share…this was another fun video. You gals made me LOL several times. Have a fantastic week and a safe trip!

I hope Pam allowed a little extra time in Salt Lake City to research at the Family History Library! As a genealogist, I know that as a genealogist, I'd be looking for a way to sneak some time in there if I were in Salt Lake City for Stitch West! I've flown 3 times since May. I hope you all don't repeat the one experience I had flying from Atlanta to Sacramento. Our flight was delayed about 6 hours. They changed our gate pretty much every hour too--probably to keep us exercising. By the time we arrived in Sacramento (after midnight Sacramento time), they'd shut down all the restrooms in the airport. It was hard to get Lyft, Uber, or taxi rides to the hotel--and of course, they all had after hours charges on them. The rest of the flights were much better so I hope your flights go like one of those!
I always associate Wasilla, Alaska with Sarah Palin. I thought that might be where Stephanie had heard of the town.

Another wonderful episode and definitely worth the wait! Steph cracked me up congratulating the Birds!! In the interest of clarity, I must point out he wasn't born in Terre Haute but did attend Indiana State University there. He was actually raised in French Lick, IN, hence his not quite politically correct nickname, "the hick from French Lick." Lest you think I'm a rabid Bird fan, I must assure you I am not. My New England husband however is so I've lived through several Bird lectures over the years. LOL!! Happy stitching!!!

First, Thank you for everything you did this week! So excited to be in Weekend B!!! This is probably the first time in 10 years I didn't go to Galleria. The Mill Hill wall gets me every dang year! I love Needle Beings Butter crunch fabric too. I need to research the Galleria tour. There was a turkey pattern surrounded by leaves(???) way up high on a wall that I am trying to figure out the maker. I am obsessed with Turkeys this fall!

Hey Pam and Steph, I watch my Flosstubes on my tv which doesn't allow me to comment as I watch. So when I heard you say Larry Bird was from Terre Haute I had to run to get my laptop so I could say...No no no!! Larry is from French Lick Indiana but did attend college in Terre Haute at Indiana State University. Pam, I can't believe you didn't do your homework before you spoke! LOL. There are lots of things to see in Terre Haute because there's more than corn in Indiana!
To be fair, I didn't know about the LNS in Terre Haute so now I have to visit. What a charming shop!
