The generosity was unreal! I have to step up my game for next year lol. Floss drops are the least I could do lol. I was at least inspired by all the kindness that at acorns I bought my table mates each a skein of gloriana ❤

It was my first cross stitch retreat too (although I’ve been to quilting, knitting and spinning retreats before). It was so much fun and I hope I get to go to the next one they do. I was the one walking around with a box of floss bling for people to choose from. I’m in Kent and left about 3, traffic was horrible. Stop and go for miles in a few places.
It was my first in person stitching retreat too! It was very nice to meet you, I remember you. 💜💜
I loved this recap! I’m equally awkward alllll the time. Luckily my friend Carolyn was around to help me step out if my comfort zone. Your haul is fabulous! I picked up a few similar items.., those alien heads in that spooky sampler type piece sold me. Happy stitching!

Yeah if I could afford it I would love to go to one of those meetups that looks so fun but unfortunately I don't have a vehicle to go up that way to do that or the funds I'll just watch you guys show the beautiful pictures and thanks for sharing cuz I love it thanks so stay safe be careful out there and lots of love and hugs to you guys and happy happy stitching💜💜🙏🙏🤠🤠🍁🍁🎃🎃

I understand being awkward and shy in social settings, We Twins, lol. I would so love to go next year and between you and Anna I may just bite the bullet and do it. Living in Alaska we don't even have a shop in the state anymore that I'm aware of so it really would be pricey but I would love to. I already consider Acorns and Threads one of my go to shops.

Enjoyed hearing your retreat recap and hope to attend this retreat some day or at least get to one near Acorns & Threads. I don't think you sound awkward at all in in fact connected with a lot of stitchers at the retreat. But talking about tripping over the electrical cords made me nervous; I broke my kneecap tripping over one on a sidewalk a few years back so they are a hazard-yikes!
