Awesome! I would definitely recommend an aftermarket cage, Harnesses , Weller rear frame brace and clocking the springs on your shocks before you really rip on the yxz. These things are expensive but will definitely save you money or your life in the long run. After those things I would definitely recommend an exhaust and ecu reflash it’s a huge performance improvement. I have videos on all of these things.
@@FilthyKnobsOffRoadClocking the springs" ??? I am going for the 2021 SS.... Is that needed? In which Video did you Talk abaut this Task ? ✌️ Which Roll Cage do you recommend? Have seen some for 799$... I am also interested in lowering the Chassis by moving the shock Towers. Do you have any experience with that or know parts ? Looking to pick up my first YXZ in the next few months and very much appreciate your videos. Thanks for all the great info! Definitely adding this brace when I get my machine.
Awesome! I would recommend this brace, clocking your shocks, harnesses and a aftermarket cage as soon as you can. I have videos on all of those as well. I know the cages are expensive but they are so necessary. I would say the best thing you could do if you know a YXZ is what you want is order the cage now because it’s gonna take 4 months to build. you will have to put half down initially and then the remainder upon completion. Even if you don’t pick a powder coat color yet I would get the cage going. If you don’t end up getting a yxz there are many people willing to buy the cage for what you paid to not have to wait the 4 months. Around Michigan the best deals on SXSs happen around October but I’m not sure what it’s like in other areas. When I bought mine in I got the Yamaha credit card. I paid $18,000 for mine. I paid $12k cash down and put the rest on the card. I got no interest for 3 years but paid it off on under two. It was a great way to go for me.
If you have the skills to rebuild one it’s definitely the way to go. Insurance totals them out fairly easily so you can get some that are pretty easy to fix.
hello, your videos are great!!! could you make a video on the maintenance of the yxz? I have to change all the oils but I've never done it and it scares me. Thanks a lot
I bought the relocation brackets with my full frame gusset kit from Rayscar designs. I am still in the process of installing the kit. Had to order some new welding wire and get some gas but I am making a video about the relocation kit. Here is a link to the kit: facebook.com/477526926057611/posts/pfbid0HEBkBvjAFRPMiEFCEvqekiwWgbHttb89mbNB84ggzQaJCw2FMTfGzo4iDGReu4uZl/?mibextid=cr9u03 You have to message him on Facebook for the kit and then he sends you a PayPal link to pay for it.
I am going to be getting a 2021 YXZ shortly! Great info!!! Thank You!

@@FilthyKnobsOffRoad Awesome man, thanks so much for the tips!
I appreciate all your YXZ videos. They help me a ton!
Thank you!
Been enjoying the build/rebuild videos on the YXZ. Makes me want to hunt for a wrecked SxS for a project car.

Definitely gonna add that to my 2022..thanks for the video!
No problem. Such an easy install compared to what I thought it would be.
So i was looking on my 2022 XTR and the frame looks to be reinforced already...I will do a little digging for more info.
