I have switched to E3 3.38 Spark plugs after using NGK on my Himalayan. The throttle response, fuel efficiency, and overall performance is much better now.
What do you have to say about the new product powertronic has introduced as the fuelx pro. Well the name itself clears out that it has to do something with the fueling but a detailed video on both the fuelx and the power tonic would be really helpful. Like which product would be better for what kind of riders
I already have NGK spark plug cr7eix (company ngk recommendation ) on intercepter and using stock company cable do you suggest to change the wire ? If yes, can you send me link of those wire for intercepter ?
@@ONTWOWHEELSBEN thanks for the quick reply. One request. Can you do a comparo between your bike and a stock one? And give you thoughts on the value of all your mods.
Bro I got an Honda SP125 BS6. I am a collage student and needs milage so I baught an NGK Iridium sparkplug from amazone but the problem was that it doesnt had any gap and I straight up went to an local mechanic to make specific gap but that man used an cuting blade and screwdriver and without asking me by the process he slightly bended the iridium electrode then I went to anotherworkshop and made specific gap and installed the sparkplug bike is running . Bro my concern is that should I change the sparkplug because its electrod is slightly bended. Bro I had amazone 10days replacement but I didnt replace it because I knew that I made a mistake and I am truthfull to everyone. Bro please reply .
Ben, good one. I've been postponing this wire mod for a while now. Quick questions please, are the leads a screw fit on both the coil and the cap? That part wasn't clear on the video. Basically I can unscrew the stock lead from the coil and cap and screw in the new lead?
Awesome! I have a question though, what do you do or suggest doing to ensure the exhaust pipe (end to end) looks neat and clean. It changes color/fades with time. I have tried to power coat it but it was burnt out / started falling apart in about 1000kms itself.
I have used a high heat enamel used for barbecue pits. I took the heat shields off and then I used a green scrub pad and brake cleaner end to end on the pipes. I then used the high heat paint even on the muffler. Although it does not remain coal black - it does gray a bit at the exhaust port, it looks so much better than the original color of the exhaust.
Powder coating will just burn off. It is just plastic coating. You could try ceramic coating . Have a look at : th-cam.com/video/7zH2HK66KQo/w-d-xo.html I have asked him on a couple of occasions to do a follow up vid to give a long term report on the effectiveness of ceramic coating, but sadly nothing.
hey Himi prof - one question: Will this NGK full kit, help in the first crank of the day. My 2020 esp, now in Dec winter, in the first crank of the day, when I am doing the first cold start of the day, turns off frequently. I have to constantly use the choke to bump it up to higher RPMs for the engine to properly warm up. Do you think this kit will address this?
I have upgraded to NGK iridium a couple of months back the performance is really good... Considering I have a TB500 BS4 ( single spark plug model) which cable should I go for.. the Splitfire one or the NGK one?
Hi Ben, I am steadily moding my torque monster classic 500. Mine is twin spark. Does this spark plug cap and wire suit mine ? I can't find any leads to buy. Only difference I can see in the spark plug is the tip clearance , mine being .9 mm. I would like to discuss more in detail, can you please dm me ??
Hi Ben I am buying a new Himalayan somewhere in April 2021 should get delivery. So if I were to change to a NGK iridium spark plug and firing cable... Would it cause a break in warranty?
Hey Ben looking for quick feedback as I am planning to do this mod. How is the performance of NGK CR8EIX spark plug as I guess you have done long distance travel on it. Thanks.
@@ONTWOWHEELSBEN Thank you for your quick reply. Currently I have about 2K+ miles on my bike and planning to do valve check when I hit 3k. Same time I will do these perf mods just like you mentioned in the video. Getting all the parts lined up now. Here in California things are opening up slowly so will get more chances taking the bike out. Will keep you posted. Stay safe and thanks once again.
No, what is does do is wear much less and focuses the spark more precisely allowing for lower arc over voltage. It also wears much less allowing for longer life. Best Iridium plugs have platinum plated grounds straps for the same reasons. One of the reasons for a standard copper core plug and standard wire is to ensure sufficient flash over voltage for a hot spark to ensure ignition. The lower voltage requirements from the better plug and low resistance cable will make up for it in current flow instead of voltage. In the end copper plugs with hood cables and coils make more power but they were out much faster… with marginal stuff the plug that makes it easier to flash over and the wire to carry the extra current in the end do perform a little better.

Great vid. Thank you for your time and trouble.
Glad it helped 😊
What differences do you feel while changing the cable with stock??? Cause we can use iridium on stock cable
read about ignition cables with lesser resistance. yes you can

Yes pls

No .
Ben. Is it available for ktm duke?
Without powertronic can we install ngk split fire ignition coil and iridium spark plug along with k and n filter
its not a coil, its the wire that i have changed. yes you can change it if your vehicle has done over 10-15000 kilometers.
