Just some advice and tips for a a better landing: 5. No parking break while landing, Use reverse thrust and spoilers to your advantage, No breaks! 4. No spoilers until landed, Only use flaps and throttle to slow your aircraft while mid air, remember, you can always go around. 3. Center line, Upon approach aim for the center line as best you can, Good center line will improve the landing drastically. 2. Flaring, A flare is basically a controlled stall, Its pretty much when you slow your plane down enough that it's not stalling but its not going very fast, Once your at the right speed point your nose up and land on your back two wheels first, This normally takes about 10 to 60ft of runway. 1. Approach, Like I said before approach is everything. There are many YT tutorials on how to do all of this stuff, Just a few tips to improve your landing's :D
You pecan put in a slight bit of speed break on descent and the beginning of your approach. On the 737 it’ll tell you if you need to deploy them or not. As for your final approach, it really matters where you are because you don’t want to get to slow, but you don’t want to be too fast. When your about to land you usually want to arm the speed breaks so they’ll automatically deploy on landing (you can do this by slightly pulling the speed break lever back until you get a green light next your artificial horizon). And good on him for using trim, it took me years to figure out how helpful trim is😂.
obl2vi0s you can use spoilers in flight thats what theyre for. When on the run way they dont slow the plane down only help keep it down they SPOIL the lift hence the name
when landing your plane you have to do something called a flare: in the last 10-50 feet gently apply back pressure on the yoke in order to pull the nose of the aircraft up so you land back gear first (he should prefferably practice this manouver in a smaller plane like a cessna)

Your landing was a 6.3 just like A Ryanair landing 😂 gotta reduce your speed a bit and slowly decent down don’t go fast and force it down because then your going down and then since your plane is going to fast it lifts back up and makes it a struggle that’s why you want to go slow and then slowly decend so that you don’t throw it down
In real life, I have a dodo plane, a few days ago the engine failed, I had to land on private land it was very difficult, but even more difficult to pay for the repair of the plane :(
Nice work handling of the jet by not over controlling it! Also, you are learning plenty in that field of view. When you turn the controls you see what is actually happening to the aircraft's control surfaces. So don't listen to the haters... Keep up the good work!
I would recommend a bit of flair basically pulling the nose up so your main gear hit hard and slowly put the front gear down off so don’t use the spoilers in the air don’t use them until you are safely on the ground if you need to slow down in the air use flaps

1) you should not put spoilers on landing, but after landing.
2) it would be better to make the landing from the cockpit.
Your landing was a 6.3 just like A Ryanair landing 😂 gotta reduce your speed a bit and slowly decent down don’t go fast and force it down because then your going down and then since your plane is going to fast it lifts back up and makes it a struggle that’s why you want to go slow and then slowly decend so that you don’t throw it down
Why did that boy take off on full power, flaps 25?
+ 🤭😂
In real life, I have a dodo plane, a few days ago the engine failed, I had to land on private land it was very difficult, but even more difficult to pay for the repair of the plane :(
you should work on your audio quality. highly suggest watching some mike russel
RIP centreline 🤣🤣
I am 15 student pilot i really like this setup and ur son is such a grate pilot 😁👋
What a genuinely nice comment ❤
14:37 that bounce
Nice work handling of the jet by not over controlling it! Also, you are learning plenty in that field of view. When you turn the controls you see what is actually happening to the aircraft's control surfaces. So don't listen to the haters... Keep up the good work!
Thanks for that 👍😁
one thing that irritates me is that hes flying in 3rd person but hes good for hid age.
Are you sure about that
Echohimselftoo nope
Best video explaining just about everything I was interested in learning. Thank you so much family.
Thanks for that Joshua 👍😁
14:37 love that energy😂
My brother is a Ryanair pilot, also my rate on the landing would be 2-3 out of 10 because you floated ti
Rynair makes rhe best landings. That say all pasengers. You look the cross wind landings. This landings are not got.
I would recommend a bit of flair basically pulling the nose up so your main gear hit hard and slowly put the front gear down off so don’t use the spoilers in the air don’t use them until you are safely on the ground if you need to slow down in the air use flaps
i rate the landing 8:10 amazing
Drop another video, we would like to see your progress ✈️
This was so hard to watch 🤣
Come on, give him some slack, it's more about the tech than the proficiency ❤😁👍
Clough Reviews the reason I found it hard to watch is because I wanted to be able to help and correct him so he knows but obviously I can’t, he did good showing how the equipment he was using works.
Tell him he did a great job.
Also try get him to download infinite flight and play that aswell as X-Plane because it’s much easier to learn the basics on a less complex sim.
Chill.
@@J.T.J8618 no. If you've just got a yoke and rudder pedals then the last thing you want to get is infinite flight
Henry Wallace if you have a yoke and rudder pedals with 0 knowledge then this is no point having a flight simulator that’s as complex as this, It’s like having a bike with no wheels
You should try using the laptop to show your internal dials and guages and the TV to show front view inside the airplane but without cockpit. Put the laptop in front of the TV.
8/10 landing
Nice Setup. I just played X-Plane 11 on the Quest 2, pretty amazing. If you haven't tried it, you really should. Definitely hard to go back to a screen after though.
RIP landing gear
Ha 👍😁
Can you connect this to a normal laptop?
@@the-aviation-geek-105 If its fast enough yes. It's connected to a gaming laptop in the video but this it's a few years ago so a newer laptop will probably be as fast now.
@@CloughReviewsDo you think it would work on a macbook? Probably not.
This is really Ryanair the way he's flying,
Ik i agree but comeon he is a kid
RYAN AIR: YOUR LANDING WAS FABULOUS ! YOU'RE ONE OF US NOW ! ^0^
All these critics and experts. SMH. Let the young pilot have his fun. I'm certain you weren't all experts driving your first vehicle as a teen. He's inspired and that is a great thing. Cheers to you dad. You are raising him right. A future pilot in the mist.
If you set your laptop to second screen only, you will get better frame rates. Greetings from London! Good video.
How to download on ipad
Im planning on getting the quadrant thanks for reviewing it
Thanks for that 👍😁
Nice setup this will be great if he wants to be a pilot
Thanks for that Ethan 😁👍
I like you guys doing that review together. Really enjoyed that. Thank you!
Thanks for that Sascha 😁👍
Bit to rough on the yoke there mate small adjustments do the trick and one hand always on throttle quad and one hand in yoke
When ur on final approach u dont have the speed brakes extended that's why u bounced 2 times because the plane wants to pitch down
U have to hace them on armed right?
I hope the kid gets what he wants in the future:)
tbh for someone his age....he got knowledge...stop discouraging the kid! he is awesome for his age
