    12:57 on this, I love the new thermite grenade changes but they are un-doubtably the best grenade hands down rn and there is next to no reason to use anything other then them realistically. There almost certainly going to get nerfed, hopefully they just restrict you to 2 base instead of the 3 you currently have, they do there job extremely well but being able to deal with up to 3 heavy enemies with next to no thought is a little overtuned imo. Especially if you bring the supply pack.

      I do feel like this does come down a bit to personal preference. I did try the thermite in the new update but I much prefer having an impact or fire impact for quick and easy crowd control.
      It is a bit overtuned though, I have seen a lot of other people using it and there's less reason to take others like the stun now. Why stun and shoot a heavy when you can just kill it outright with one button? It might need a nerf and oh boy people are not gonna be happy

    I've been running around with a liberator concussive for a while, and honestly the increased mag capacity is just what it needs to do its role.
    Whenever there is a swarm of bugs or automatons approaching me and my buddies I just keep each of them at bay by shooting each enemy at least once to stun them for a bit, letting my friends have some space to breathe and actually finish them off. More bullets per mag means less reloading and increased time frame in which you can keep holding the enemies at a distance!
    And even without the teamplay aspect of it, it's still a good weapon to deal with regular enemies, as even in case if it's just you around, not a single soul can dare to approach you closer than 4 meters, and stunning spewers with continuous fire as they are about to try and spew at you is funny

    My biggest gripe is when you dive backwards or anywhere and your diver ragdolls and gets up in a few seconds, it feels like forever to get up and in this game, speed is king

    I appreciate the end of this video. I agree with your opinions on the toxic community, and I was also playing during the time when the game was nerfing everything. And yes, nerfs are necessary, even if some people don’t agree.

    • @seththepotate
      @seththepotate  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I think after this update I can agree that the nerfing was previously a bit much. While there weren't as many nerfs as people felt (a total of about 10 actual nerfs since launch as opposed to 30ish buffs) the few nerfs were very impactful in a negative way. But now there's a large portion of the community that's going to take up arms over any nerf, no matter how small, I feel. Though I hope I'm wrong. Game is in a really good spot right now and I hope that continues.

    The eruptor and dagger combo is amazing vs bots. Vs bugs I like to bring the machine as well to deal with hoards.

    • @seththepotate
      @seththepotate  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I haven't thought about using the dagger somehow. The issue I was running into using the Eruptor was enemies that got too close and having to rely a lot on team backup. The dagger would fix this... gotta try that

      @@seththepotate it's nice now. I try to dagger the light enemies and save the eruptor for the medium ones.

    The weapon balance is the smallest problem of the game. It absolutely doesn’t have endgame content. You play it a little and then game can’t offer you nothing interesting other than grinding nearly garbage tier warbonds that cost a lot of credits.

      This is factualy wrong. 15 million people bought game. No game in history has lost player base as fast and as many as hd2 did.
      Each month player base cut by half. First time was railgun nerf people hated that enough to leave.
      People wanting weapon difficulty is the smallest part of the community. 95% came here cause horde shooter was fun. Left cause weapon nerfs

      @@timothyfloyd3269 this and also so many issues with the game crashing and nothing working as intended like extraction shuttle not opening and spear being literally unusable for 2 months AFTER they acknowledge the issue on lock-in

    Of course it's not going to get back to those high numbers. Honestly, the moment I saw vTubers jump into the game I knew there were a lot of "trend players" amongst us that would leave as soon as the game stopped being popular, and to be fair, Helldivers has been a game you play in short bursts and come back from time to time, instead of strapping yourself into it for endless hours to feed the grind machine.

    Everyone loves buffs till they get bored of their current build...Hence the entirety of balance patch's and Difficulty additions in comparison to Stratagem releases and REAL objectives. Still waiting on a vehicle transport, rather than walking to EVERY objective. Not to mention, been maxed out on ALL currencies aside from Rare samples and 2 ship modules...Been there since the 2nd day the Polar Patriots dropped in April...
    I'll keep playing H1, while the casual crowd continues to love the recent update for about a month only to decry the drip fed content later...then complain their new favorite weapon is under performing. Like when everyone was angry their handheld rail cannons didn't one shot Bile Titans anymore because of a bug fix.
    And I hear the next project is a HUB world(Space Station), nothing to do with actually playing the game...just a social space...
    Have you even tried the new update?
    Yes, I played the recent update...Even on the very same difficulty I quit, the creek is looking a LOT less populated by auto manufactured automatons and factory striders...guess I need to play 10 to get the same experience. So what difficulty will I need to play when we have squads rocking 2 tanks or a single Armored APC? Super Samples were meant to be stupidly rare...yet I've maxed em out long before we reached the level of content we had in the first iteration. Never in my life had I had to debate with a friend whos 5 difficulties below me on what "Middle" ground to meet on...Should I try less hard, or should he try harder?
