That's not a rail cannon. It's a gauss cannon. There is a difference.
If you put a battery and switch at the power input you can switch it on, charge the battery for a few seconds, switch off and the battery will keep it running long enough to launch you then when it's idle it stops using power.
You... are a genius.
You can also use biomass burners to place them down remotely to jump around the map. I use 12 entrances and 4 burners, then I put a solid biofuel in 3 of them, so when you place it, it automatically shuts down. Then you place the last fuel piece, power it on, switch to blueprint dismantle mode, then jump in, face backwards, hit the dismantle key as you leave the launcher and suck it all up behind you, leaving no trace.
Put some signs in the pillars and make them only red or green

Does it fit in a 5*5 blueprint ?
This specific model? I don't think so. It's roughly 5.5 foundations long. I did make a blueprint of a compact/expandable model that fits within the 4*4 and a tutorial on how I made the basic shape if you want to make fully custom sizes.

Cool looking decorations on that. Must take some effort to hit that tiny jelly every time. I know my cannons are largely impacted by how fast I am going when I enter and even current game performance. I have one really annoying sets of cannons made from the same blueprint that overshoots me one way and the other way I have to use a full tank of jetpack fuel to get back because the slow one faces my main base.
Not a ton of effort, really. I have a weirdly good eye for where to place the jellies. I now have a cannon going from that spot to my turbofuel plant in the blue crater and my jellypad is perfect
I was thinking this is the first time I have seen a hyper tube launcher with the cannon decoration. Then they have it set to hit a jell pad. *Chef's Kiss*
I am redesigning every launcher I have now. Fine tuning the launch angle might let me remove an entry or two, drawing less power. 10-30 MW across 5+ launchers adds up.

I just use a big ass ramp that goes all the way up around the orbital elevator 😂 then proceed to jump ang glide with the parachute, the range is not a problem 😂

Incredible game, really wish you vould turn off the backflips though, trying out gyro aim is the closest I've got to a game making me throw up lmao.
Excellent tip about angling the exits with beams & wall supports. I had no idea this was a thing! Now I can have an exit in between 22.5 and 45. 45 is usually way too high, making me waste time waiting to come back down, and 22.5 usually way too shallow, giving me way too much horizontal speed and not enough lift. My intuition says 30 is probably going to be a happy medium, but actually being able to adjust the angle using the diagonal mode makes it really fine-tuneable.
WAIT: I just tried this and you can angle railway track segments using this method! This unlocks a whole new level of control over railway inclines, this is game-changing for me. So glad I saw this!

i was watching like 5 different videos on hypertube cannons and this is the first that actually explains that you need the hypertube WALL support instead of the normal one to be able to shoot diagonally. Thank you!
Yeah I was inspired by a design I saw on the subreddit and took some time to work it out for myself. I was really annoyed that I couldn't get the supports to be at the angle I wanted and realized that wall supports can connect to beams so I tried them out. Lo and behold that's exactly what was needed
Definitely lost me, mines not letting me connect multiple entrances together. No idea how how you did that, you kinda glazed over the explaining 😊
You have an entrance that leads to an O segment with a very short tube, then another O segment WITHOUT a tube between. That second O segment then has an entrance. > - Entrance = - Tube O - O segment >=O>=O>=O>=O>=O over and over again, the more you have the faster you'll travel. Exiting the O segment carries momentum into the next entrance, which is why you go faster and faster. For extra fun, build these in a loop...*cough* just be careful you can escape eventually (usually at mach 2 billion) because you can literally get trapped forever in such a device. Unless that's the goal, of course.
Exactly correct thank you. I guess I did kinda gloss over that in the video. I've done it so many times and seen so many people do it I saw it as common knowledge. There's also a ton of tutorials on how to set up the basic cannon system, this was more about how to adapt that cannon into this self contained/angled build
@@Lithdrenyou don’t even need the tube inbetween them, I just blueprinted a floor support with an entrance attached, then place many down in a row nudging them so they’re touching, and it works fine.
