The amount of power she has is unbelievable. She doesn't even look like she is going full on either.
if you watch its all in her round off back handspring. She stays very long which allows her to generate more power. I wish more gymnasts would pay attention to this detail.
@@33badyess I notice that too. It's the angles she uses. Her technique and timing are spectacular. Also her muscle-body weight ratio has a bearing. Besides all of that, she is special.
33badyess right it looks like that full twist stays in the air for a second like its stagnant and then the other tuck.

As if she didn't have the hardest floor routine in the world before, she upgrades the first two passes. Wow! I just kept laughing. So amazing! Pure excitement to watch her!

Wait until she adds her triple double, and then I suspect she’s gonna move her Chusovitna+split jump in replacement of her front full step out to full-in. She’d have 7.0+ difficulty. She could fall twice and probably still win this event.

Oh yes! she is amazing! not much suspance about "who's gonna win?" ahuahauha.. but she keeps on giving us something to be surprised with all her upgrades!
Noah Byrd I’m not sure about falling twice because if she didn’t go out of bounds she’d have a 15.3 and then add 0.3 which would be 15.6 last year so unless 2nd place doesn’t get or surpass a 13.6 Simone wouldn’t win

She rocketed forward with the punch layout, basically traveled 2m extra. I’m sure she can control the momentum and spring upwards and perfectly fit inbound ☺️👌🏼
ChristineF1234 sticks would be great, but I have rarely seen Simone have a stick on floor. If she could refine it so she doesn’t go out of bounds, and work on the execution of the triple that’s all I need.
beeyus yeah she definitely can. The one I saw her do on training was inbounds. I guess Simone just wanted to be on the rafters, or something!
She did the Triple in training. It looked pretty easy for her.

Simone is one of those gymnasts that when she steps out of bounds you notice of course but don't care cause she she is just that talented.
So amazing! Never seen a Chusovitna to split jump, and of course her new Biles combination is legendary already. Simone’s just so awesome.

Amazing just needs that layout after the biles to pop upward more instead of propelling forward.

If she just landed the Biles without the extra leap she would have still had plenty of room. The girl is just powerful. She doesnt need the springs under the floor mat.

Bquan Porter I think a stag jump is categorized the same as a split leap so it wouldn’t get connection. It would have to be like that one time Aly did a split half.

Question... She does the leap after her first pass. Does that give her 0.01 in cv? And if so, is that why she's not doing the Moors, because she gets the same amount of points on this current pass as she would doing the Moors?

Honestly the thing I liked most about this routine is that she looked like she was having so much fun out there. I feel like we missed that a lot with her routine last year.
Well, last year at classics she was stressed being her first meet back. And at Worlds, she had kidney stones.

I bet ticket prices kept a lot of people away. U.S. Figure Skating has been having the same dilemma.
I think part of it is they had it in Kentucky. I cant even remember a gymnast whoever came from Kentucky. This event should be held in Houston.

@@Dancing24 it's better than last years. Dancing isnt her speciality well I take that back I bet she can dance but her ability isnt translating in her cherography .. this routine is better
me too. i felt like i didn't draw a breath while watching her. i said to my friend that not only has her tumbling become insane but her dancing has kicked up and wow, the music set my heart on fire. much higher tumbling and her spotters are going to need harnesses from the roof. she has changed what i see possible in the human body. not mine of course... lol

im not so sure, since im not good with tallying at all, but as far as the videos ive seen from others, their difficulty scored have been around 5-6 mostly

and then... (EDITED: thanks to the 12 people correcting me) her signature Double Double to finish! How she doesn't even remotely run out of steam is beyond me. When she upgrades to her Triple she will be out of this world competing in her own unique galaxy. She's unstoppable! Love her!

Excatley! She just increased her E score by doing a less difficult run with the same points, because it has less landing deductions! Plus it saves wear on her body and she has more energy for the rest of the routine! Smart move indeed

I love and respect the fact that she keeps PUSHING the envelope! She's won everything a gymnast could possibly ever want, but this young lady is just a LIONESS when it comes to pushing herself to EXCEL in her sport! NO woman in the world is even close to her level!

That second pass - goodness!!! When she came out of that Biles she just bounded into that front layout. Maybe if she used the mat on that pass that could help blunt the power a little so she'd stay in bounds. But even going out of bounds it was gorgeous. Wait until she adds the triple double! And could she add back the Moors?! She has so many options, and they're all more difficult than anyone else will perform in the world. We're witnessing something legendary!

Whomever created the routine hasn't the slightest idea how to mix music to make it flow. That, in my opinion, is what she needs to have a less choppy routine.

She was smart to downgrade from the Moors to the Chusovitina punch to split jump. Both give the same value while one has one less full twist
Yes, and they can't take much deductions on the landing. She was getting at least 3 tenths deducted on the landings of her Moors. Now, this pass has the same value and almost no deductions on the landing. So she's actually increasing her e score by doing this pass and using less energy. Smart move Simone!
